Accurate Basement Repair

The quote was about $16000. The guy certainly was very pleasant. He was not a pushy salesperson. He did a combination of sales and worked with the engineering department to determine the best approach to resolving the problem. I had no problems. We have got a good speaking relationship at this point. We have certainly met him. We are deciding if we are going to do the repair at this point or not. They are certainly very professional, and answer any questions going to depth as to what needs to get done. It was a very positive experience working with them from that regard. They actually had us go to a site where they were doing repairs to see the kind of work that they do. They are truly very thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them do the job.

The price was fair and the estimator was just super professional and very knowledgeable.

. Excavated outside,waterproofed,backfilled with gravel to basement foundation,installed 11 braces inside basement and tuck pointed inside wall. Started 8AM and finished 4:30 PM of same day. Very courteous and professional. Answered all my questions Cleanup was terrific. Would recommend them to every one. Like they say they are not only accurate, but good

They were definitely an "A." We were just really happy with them. I would recommend them to anybody. They came when they said they were going to come.

It went great. He was on time and spent a considerable amount of time explaining his results to us.

Bob came to our house for a 2:00 PM appointment. When he noticed he would be 10 minutes late he had the decency to call and let us know. Over an hour or so he did a complete appraisal of our situation both inside and out and pointed out many problem areas that we could fix ourselves. He told us that if these fixes didn't stop the leaking that he would be happy to return but he was sure that in our case we would not need to spend any money to get our basement in shape. He didn't charge us anything for his expert advice and we are very happy with the company overall.

Great excellent service very professional didn't try to sell waterproofing to us like other contractors (we had no water only a wall that had moved 5/8"). Only issue was they called the day scheduled for the repair to reschedule and I had to take another day of vacation.

Long wait, it was a busy year for this business. The crew came late in the afternoon, hours after appointed, explained there were unforeseen problems earlier in the day, but were professional and as neat as possible and stayed until the job was done. Got lots of linear feet of tuckpointing for the money. I had marked the cracks in advance, they might not have done so much if I hadn't. Unfortunately, the most important long horizontal cracks came back. Not sure if the mortar was too wet (making it easier to work) and thus weak when dry. Most probably it's that the soil pressure is just too high. More extensive work will be needed. Called them twice, no call back. Might try again based on other reviews and not-terrible first experience.

I had problems with water seeping through the foundation block at one corner of my home. Since re-grading did not resolve the issue, I asked Bob to come out to assess the situation. He recommended a drain tile test as the first step. The test was done 8/1/13 and found the system to be operational. Excavation and sealing were the next step. The work was completed on 9/18/13 and I've had a dry basement ever since. What a relief! A big THANK YOU to Bob and his crew!

He was very honest and said that the job was not worth the value of the house. Although I didn't have any work completed by this company, I am defiantly going to use them in the future. He was very knowledgeable.

The guys at Accurate were awesome. I had a unique situation and they were truly experts. We had an older home on a lake and the basement floor needed to be raised because the lake level and water table had risen causing a persistent water problem in the basement. Accurate strategically approached the problem and collaborated with the plumber and the heating contractor to come up with a solution that was much better than options other companies could offer and the price was competitive. They clearly know what they are doing and are smart guys. Regarding the work. They jack hammered the current floor, added gravel, put in a drain tile system and super crocks, and poured a new basement floor. This raised the basement floor by 15 inches. They were on time, the crew was courteous, and they were very responsive. It is worth your time to give Accurate a call if you have a basement issue.

He came out and he gave me the cost and what would be done. They gave a good estimate. They were recommended to me by the man that did my raydon testing. I haven't had the work done yet. He was very professional, guaranteed for 20years.

We found them on Angie's List. Our experience with them was great. Another service provider was very expensive. I would recommend Accurate. It's excellent. It was reasonable. The work was well done and timely.

A representative came to my house to check out a water leakage problem. After surveying the situation and checking on things outside such as grading and gutters/downspouts, he told me that problem was NOT with the basement but with outside problems. Recommended that I re-grade one side of the house and re-route the downspout from the second floor. As it became too late in the season to make the downspout repairs, I will be taking care of that in the spring. The re-grading seemed to have eliminated the problem on that side of the house...this week will tell with the rain/melting snow that is expected. There was no charge for his visit or advice. I appreciate that immensely. The fact that he did not try to sell me something I did not need is top-rated in my book.

Accurate basements was fantastic. Chris came to our home personally to assess a crooked concrete block wall in our garage which was identified on a buyers home inspection. He was professional, courteous, on time, and most of all honest! He provided a written assessment of repairs needed and an estimate of future costs should they buyer choose to have the wall fixed. This put the buyers of our home minds at ease and our house was sold. I would definitely recommend Accurate Basement Repair and would call them first if I ever have masonry repair needs!

I'm not sure if I'll be using Accurate Basement Repair yet, but I might. Their prices are right in line with everybody else. I've got it down to him and two others and I'm going to meet with them again, before I make my decision. As far as the estimate and communication and getting back to me, he's been very good. They were professional. They seem like they knew what they were talking about. I'm very pleased with them, so far, as far as their knowledge and professionalism. They always get back to you quickly and it was easy to set up an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate.

They carefully reviewed with us whether this was the right fix and all the possibilities. Work done timely and professionally.

We had water problems in our basement. Accurate's quote was equal or better to others we received. Their crew (they actually sent two crews, so we could get all the demo and drain tiles installed in one day) were extremely professional and courteous. They covered all the personal belongings in the basement with thick sheets of plastic as well as created plastic curtains for the doorway to prevent any dust from getting upstairs. Except for a few wheelbarrows and portable cement mixer, all materials came through the small basement window. I am very appreciative of that as it was -5 out and it helped keep my heating bill down.They also scheduled the inspections and the electrician for completing the new sump pump. We had a small problem with an electrical circuit in our home (could have just been a question of moisture and a heavy load on the circuit) but when reported they had an electrician out the next morning to fix it. Long story short, I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend them and wish all contractors were as professional.

Excellent from start to finish. Worked with Bob Vorbau who explained each step of the work. Foreman and crew were on time, very professional, and left the house spotless.

Chris Mancuso came to our house promptly and did a thorough review of our foundation and drainage system. He determined the water was not due to a foundation issue rather due to a missing downspout. In addition, the inspector raised issues regarding a plumber valve of which Chris' experience provided insight and closure to a non-issue. His report was pivotal to the sale of our home. The buyer was comfortable with his findings and professional opinion. Chris Mancuso was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

They did a great job. I think they're very professional. I think they really know what their business is. I don't think they overestimate.

Bob came out and took a look at the basement and let me know everything that needed to be done. He advised that nothing could be done at this time due to the weather. Bob was a very nice guy and polite in the way he did things. He did things in a way that gave me the respect I wanted and gave me the information that I thought was actually going on which turned out to be accurate. On top of all this, he gave me a free estimate and printed it up and mailed it out to me.

I was contacted by Tim White of Accurate Basement Repair. Tim contacted me via email after he called and didn't hear back from me. I immediately called Tim and he had me explain what the problem was and he was able to assess the issues over the phone and confirmed when he arrived at my home a few days later. Tim was flexible with my schedule which was great. Tim was fantastic, and he explained the entire process to me regarding how the repair would be handled. Tim made me feel comfortable with the entire process and I didn't feel like I was having unnecessary work done like other basement repair specialist that I've talked to in the past who wanted to charge thousands of dollars. Tim was confident in his work and confident in Accurate as a company. Tim's experience shined through as I watched him repair the area that was in dire need of fixing. The other point I want to make is that Tim was completely professional at all times, he never "bashed" other companies that do the same work. I never liked when I've hired companies to come and do work on my home and then they start bashing other companies, as there is no need for that. We determined that no repairs were necessary that would resolve my minor problems w/o major rework that wasn't financially feasible given the age and value of the property. Very honest assessment, and I appreciate it when a business won't just do things because you think you need them if you really do not.
