All around good experience.

The services performed couldn't have gone better. I picked carpeting from their in stock collection. My girlfriend and I were having a difficult time choosing colors that would match the decor. Dawn at the showroom did an excellent job helping us pick colors that would match the unusual (bright cabbage green) wall paint we had picked out for our nursery. We needed the work done fairly quickly since we had a baby on the way within a couple months. They were able to schedule the installation within a week after I accepted the quote. The installers were a father son team who were very polite and professional. My air conditioning had stopped working a few days earlier and hadn't been fixed so they had to install the carpet in pretty hot conditions but they were good sports about it. I was working from home and it was as if they weren't even there when they were doing the installation. They were very respectful and the quality of the installation is excellent.

Everyone was nice, I just decided to go with another company.

When I called Colye Carpet I specifically asked for Nicole because of the good reviews I had read about her on Angie's List. I told her that I needed two rooms carpeted, both of which had been soiled by cat pee. I also told her that I wasn't good at picking out colors on my own and that I would like her to come to my house in Stoughton to give her opinion after we had narrowed the choices. We set up a time for me to come to the showroom.Nicole was courteous, professional and very nice. She explained the differences in the price of carpets and padding and talked with me about which carpets were better for high-traffic areas. Coyle was running a sale for no interest if paid in 12 months, which was great news for us. After I narrowed down the choices to two or three for each room we made an appointment for her to come to the house and measure the rooms and give her opinion. That meeting went fine and a date for installation was set.On the day the installers came we ran into a few problems. The cat pee had soaked through the baseboards and the sub-floor in a corner of the family room. The odor was also evident in a corner of the room in the basement that was being carpeted, although it was in the concrete. I was afraid if new carpet was laid over it the odor would seep up and the cat would still target that area. I called Nicole to ask about options. She called back and said that Coyle's installers could not replace the sub-floor but a product called Kilz could be painted on the sub-floors in both rooms. I went on line and the reviews for Kilz were all positive. We decided to go with that option. It delayed that actual installation by a day because the Kilz had to dry for 24 hours. It also increased the original price, but Nicole told us that on the phone. The installers did a great job and were quick and professional. We will use Coyle again on our next carpeting project.

Overall it was a very good experience. We got what we wanted within the time frame that we asked for.

Tom Coyle was my contact. He was great, he came to my office and identified what might become an issue during installation. He answered my many questions about how they would make sure that the installation was up to my standards for my green building requirements. My project was only 600 sq ft but I always felt important to Tom. The workers were respectful of my wishes regarding recycling and using the material efficiently. A subfloor was installed then the salvaged oak flooring. They sanded and finished the floor with low VOC products. They also cleaned up after themselves well. The floor is beatiful!

We were very pleased with the service. Our consultant, Nicole, was pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with. She was willing and eager to get us any information we wanted. She came to our home to help us with color and style selection. The men who took the old carpet out and laid the new carpet were professional and did a great job. It took us a long time and repeated trips to the store to make our decisions, but Nicole and others at the store were patient and helpful through the whole process. We thought the prices were the equivalent or a little better than competing stores, but so much depends on the quality of carpet you choose, it was hard to tell. We felt the customer service we received was excellent and would recommend Coyle's.

They put a leveler on the floor and it didn't do that very well. I can't really see it, but I can feel it in my feet that it's not leveled out. The guy who I talked to had told me that it would take one day and my wife had to take off to the work after the vacation, but they didn't show up. They did give me $50 which was their cancellation reimbursement as they missed an appointment. I'm not really happy with their work. I was quite annoyed that they gave me the wrong date. I would not hire them again in the future.

We were having a very small entry room carpeted. Many other carpet stored didn't want to help us as the room was so small they weren't going to get much money from us. The first time we went in, we had a very unhelpful lady. However, the second time we went in we met Nicole (at least, that's what I think her name was -- unfortunately I lost her business card). She was phenomenal. She helped us pick some gorgeous carpet, get underlayment, have it installed, and the old carpet removed for a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier.

The installation was far superior to what I had previously. The workers were quite pleasant, courteous, and cleaned up well after themselves. I noticed a portion of the carpet was unraveling and a manager came out promptly to address the issue to my satisfaction. I am very happy with their services!

No complaints. The right product was installed with no extra waste or problems. The installer did a neat and professional job.

I spent alot of time researching carpeting via internet to determine which types of carpet, what to avoid, etc. I then went to Carpetland and Sergenians. Both places had pleasant salespeople but the quotes for the particular carpeting I liked were high. As soon as I walked into Coyle carpeting the salesperson was familiar with the carpeting and since every carpet store has different names to their carpets, she made sure we were comparing the exact carpet to what I found at carpetland and sergenians. Once that was determined she didn't play games, she gave me a great quote right off the bat. $2000 cheaper than the other stores. Same pad, same carpet. Installation was quickly scheduled and we are very happy with the outcome. Next time I will shop at Coyle FIRST.

All but one of the installers could speak English and the one who could speak did not do so very well. They plugged a faulty extension cord into an outlet in our living room and it "exploded" leaving a black halo on the wall and a burned plastic outlet cover. Nothing was ever done to clean up the wall or replace the cover. After the installation was complete, we noticed that a ten foot wide section seamed along one side of both rooms did not match the rest of the carpet. They sent out 2 different inspectors and neither one could/would(?) explain to us why that piece of carpet didn't match the rest. They offered us an adjustment of $2500 which we accepted. I don't know what they would have done if we hadn't accepted the adjustment.
