Description of Work: The service that was to be performed was a AC Tune-up special. The tech showed up and said the unit was too old to service. (Why wasn't this information discovered during the initial telephone conversation? No questions were asked about my AC Unit.) The company charged $95.00 as a trip fee, and No service was performed. Upon contacting the owner of Hales Corners Heating & Cooling to voice our concern, he was nothing but rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Description of Work: Service call for no heat. The service technician described in detail the repairs that would have to be made on an 18 year old furnace and the price of each part. Presented the pros and cons of the various new furnaces they carry. There was no pressure to purchase a new furnace vs. repairing the old. Both the service technician and the installation technicians were punctual and courteous. Would highly recommend and use this company again.

+ -1 moreSuper, super service! AC went out on a hot weekend. Scott came over on a Friday morning and gave an estimate. His staff was busy that day but he promised that he would have AC for me by the end of the day, or Saturday at the latest). By 3pm on Friday, Scott had men on site to install the AC. The installers were all nice and polite hard-working guys. We had AC by 5:30 that afternoon.
Description of Work: Had a quality Armstrong 95V furnace and 13 SEER AC completely installed in my home. Included everything (thermostat, chimney liner, line set, etc.)

+ -1 moreI could not believe the excellent service that we experienced with this company. They were timely and courteous in our request to replace a furnace the day before Thanksgiving.
Description of Work: Our heater broke the day before Thanksgiving and we were entertaining at our house for the holiday. Hales Corners Heating and Air Conditioning sent a repair man out, but there was no hope in fixing our old furnace. They replaced the furnace, and while they were at it, we also had them install a central air conditioning unit.

+ -1 moreI WAS EXPECTING A TUNE-UP, AND I GOT A TUNE-UP, BUT I GOT TALKED INTO PAYING WHAT WILL BE $1,300 FOR THE TUNE-UP. IT'S A SECURITY BLANKET SERVICE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT EXPIRING 5 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF OUR TUNE-UP. I PAID A $100 START UP FEE AND $20 A MONTH ON MY CREDIT CARD, AND THEY DID NOT PUT IN WRITING WHAT THEY TOLD ME. THEY TOLD ME THAT IF I SOLD MY HOUSE, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT. I'M A TRUSTING PERSON, AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS HAPPENED. I WAS IN PHYSICAL PAIN, AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO CALL THEM ANYMORE FOR A TUNE-UP, AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK. ON THEIR LETTERHEAD THEY HAVE THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, NARI, AND THE METROPOLITAN BUILDER'S ASSOCIATION (MBA). I CALLED THE MBA, AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NOT BEEN A MEMBER FOR AT LEAST A YEAR, AND THEY SUGGESTED I CALL THE CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY. THE COMPANY I USED OWNS 3 LOCATIONS, THEY HAVE COMPANIES IN MENOMINEE FALLS, WAUKESHA, AND FRANKLIN.
