Description of Work: I had a septic emergect! Backed up into my house. They came right over as I was going out of town and fixed the problem right up. The pipe going from the house to the septic system was coroded and clogged. He cleared it and he is pumping and putting a riser on it so I don't have to dig everytime!!! I love these guys!!! Saved my vacation!!

Description of Work: Replaced old septic with a mound system. Filled in old septic tanks and bed. Graded and reseeded the extensive ground disturbance required to complete the job. This was not a small job and they did it efficiently and well.

Description of Work: Changed septic tank pump, floats, and alarm floats. Re=piped from the pump to the tank outlet. Dave also came back and core drilled a 2" hole so I could update the electrical (from the 30+ year old method). Excellent to work with.

Description of Work: We were told that we had a abandoned septic tank on our property. We were in the process of putting in a new driveway and it would be going over where that tank was. Kons was great about coming out on the day that the work was being done to come over and inspect. Granted it ended up being something else, but their response was great.

 + -1 moreThe receptionist we scheduled with was very nice. We didn't know where the opening to our septic system was, so she had the owner call us back to help us figure it out. We still couldn't find it. When he came out to pump our tank, he found it in 30 seconds and knew right where to look. He was very pleasant and helpful and educated us about having a septic system, since we moved here from the city we didn't know anything about it. We scheduled our appointment with them already for the next year so we wouldn't forget. Nice company to work with. I'd highly recommend them.

He advised me on proper use and operation of the septic system, and told me some things to look for in the house that might stress the system (running toilets, etc.). He also performed a quick visual inspection of the system. Since I recently added a garbage disposal, he advised me as to what should not be put in the disposal.

 + 0 moreCalled the company at 8:30 in the morning and explained that I wasn't quite sure what I needed done, just that our septic tank alarm had sounded the day before. Receptionist said someone would be out late morning. The guys showed up, very courteous and started in right away. Fixed the problem, corrosion in electrical box and moved box to help prevent against same problem in future. Also recommended maintenance schedule which was helpful as we are new owners of the property.
Description of Work: Called company because septic tank alarm had gone off. New owner of property, wasn't sure why alarm was sounding. They looked at the tanks and lift pump and lift pump electrical box. Found the electrical system to be faulty. Replaced all electrical.

 + -1 moreIt was making the interior of the house smell musty. I called plumbers, bought 2 different pumps at a home improvement store to try to pump it out myself, and nothing worked. I called Kons, and they came out, taking GREAT care and pumped it out. Mr. Kons jumped down inside the cistern. They protected the hardwood floors with rugs so their suction hoses wouldn't damage my floors. He also spent some time offering suggestions on how to prevent future occurences. I'm very grateful.
Description of Work: I had an unusual situation with a cistern in my old stone house. The cistern is INSIDE the house, and had accumulated about 6 inches of rain water after all the storms earlier this year.

 + -1 moreSince our high water alarm was going off, Dave came the same day I called, which we really appreciated. We had a new lift pump installed a year earlier, and the float was working fine, but Dave thought it probably hit the tank wall, so he adjusted it so it would not get hung up again. He informed me that all of the work completed for us recently was under warranty and there would be no charges. Dave is quick to diagnosis issues and to remedy them. He is truly a highly competent professional!

 + -1 moreJOB 1: DAVID CAME THE DAY WE CALLED, BECAUSE OUR ALARM WAS SOUNDING, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS BUSY. HE MADE SURE I SAW WHY HE HAD TO UPGRADE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AND LIFT PUMP IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET TO THE SITE, I HAD TO STAND ON A VERY ICY HILL, SO HE HELD MY ARM SO I WOULDN'T FALL. WHEN WE CAME IN THE HOUSE, HE TOOK OFF HIS SHOES. HE ALSO NOTICED OUR ALARM WAS ON THE SAME ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT AS THE SEPTIC SYSTEM, WHICH HE SAID WE SHOULD CHANGE SO IF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WENT DOWN ON THE SEPTIC THE ALARM WOULD SOUND. ALL IN ALL THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND INFORMATIVE. JOB 2: DAVE ALWAYS FITS US INTO HIS SCHEDULE, AND IS PROMPT. HE IS VERY NEAT, WE HARDLY EVEN REALIZE HE WAS THERE.
Description of Work: JOB 1:THE WORK PERFORMED WAS; INSTALLED A NEW LIFT PUMP, AND UPGRADED THE OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. FURTHERMORE, THE HIGH WATER TANK ALARM WAS SOUNDING AND KONS PARTIALLY EMPTIED THE TANK SO THE SYSTEM COULD BE USED WHILE WAITING FOR THE PROPER COMPONENTS INSTALLED THE NEXT DAY.
