"We appreciate you sharing your experience. When we arrived the Air Conditioner was in poor condition and being up in age (29 year old unit). When our technicians arrive and see a plugged up condenser unit, they will attempt to wash out the condenser coil so we can get accurate refrigerant levels with our gauges. Our technicians need to bill for their time (in this case 90 minutes plus travel) ... That being said, we are always willing to work with customers and get questions answered and if any errors are made on our part, we make it right with the customer. We will be reaching out to this customer to discuss this situation."
"Thank you for the opportunity to respond. The outcome of her service was definitely not what either party wanted. Our technician gave the owner her options. Her choice was not what we would recommend, but nonetheless was a choice. Our recommendation was to do a leak search, repair and recharge the unit or replace the 18 year old unit. Both of our suggested recommendations were more expensive, but had an outcome that was more favorable. The homeowner chose neither of these, and hoped for the best with schrader valve tightening and the unit recharged. It was a roll of the dice, but unfortunately it did not work. As for the less expensive drop in refrigerants, these refrigerants are still not recommended by the manufacturer and typically cost more to initially set up the unit for the first time (doing it properly). We feel bad that the unit did not hold a charge, but we were limited by the homeowner's instructions as to the extent of the repair. If her repair choice worked we would not be discussing this. If we are to be given an F for giving the customer choices and our recommendations as to which choices are best and the customer chooses to go with a non-recommended choice, then all we can say is we did our job. The letter grade is a poor reflection on a company doing the right and ethical thing for the customer."

"Thank you for sharing your experience with other Angie's List members. It means a lot that you took the time to do so. Have a great day, and thank you very much for your business."
At 7:30 on the morning of the install, I received a phone call that they would be here within 15 minutes if that was ok with me, nice change from some companies that don't call and are late. They arrived before 8 and went over everything that they would be doing and asked if I had any questions and then went right to work.
They finished in a timely manner and made sure everything was cleaned up and then went over all instructions once more to be sure we understood the new controls and features. They then made sure all paperwork on the new equipment was attached to the furnace so that the papers would not get lost and both myself and anyone that would need to work on it at a later date would have everything they would need, Todd explained they do this for all new installs, another nice touch.
Steve, who had given me the estimate called on me and confirmed that I was pleased with the work, he also made sure that a rebate from the power company was filled out and sent in.
Very happy with the professional service and the products they installed.
