European Hardwood Flooring

Daniel and his crew were great—very professional, quick, and skilled. I asked for a few extra things once they were on-site, like pulling up boards to fix some creaking, and sawing off some things that would interfere with the wood. They put everything together and gave me a good deal on these extra bits. Also, they did some quality finishing around the front door and stair well. Nicely done! One thing that impressed me, but maybe standard for flooring crews... they used the wood they pulled up to blend in with the new wood so there was no edge between old and new. Looked pretty wonky before they sanded/finished (photo below) but afterwards, I can barely tell the difference. Looks great. Finally, they were working right before Christmas, which was super helpful for us. They probably appreciated the holiday work, but still... it was nice. Would definitely hire again. I have no idea if the price is good, so I give a B=Fair. Seemed reasonable to me for all the work.

Very well. His team were friendly, courteous, helpful, and responsive. They even cut and installed new baseboards that I had purchased which hadn't originally been quoted. The team seemed to rotate in and out, with 2-4 people working at any given time over the weekend they installed the floors.

This is the second time We've used European Hardwood Flooring. About four years ago they installed flooring in our kitchen and family room. We were very pleased with job at that time. When we decided to put hardwood in our dining and living room, we did a quick check to make sure Daniel was still running the show and called for an estimate. His price was fair so we contracted for the job. His team was prompt, professional, and they did an excellent job. Daniel responded to a minor issue I had within a day and took care of it. We love the new floor. He's very focused on customer satisfaction and I would recommend European Hardwood Flooring to anyone.

Overall aside from some communication issues with the crew, the job went very well thanks to the owner Daniel who is fantastic and driven to make things right to the point that he personally made sure we we were happy. I had two other bids both very professional but chose European Hardwoods because of price and Daniel's personality.

Perfectly. Super responsive. The team came on time, moved all my furniture, we moved out for a week, came back, and it was beautiful. When we have to do our upstairs, I'll use them again.

Multiple attempts were made over one month to get a bid with no response received from the company.

Called European Hard Wood flooring to perform refinish on pre-finished floors. He estimated the job would take about four days. Daniel the owner and Alex came out and got the floors done within two days. They worked through the night and were able to finish early. We still waited a day after to walk on the floors. The floors turned out beautiful. They looked like they did when we first bought our home. He really came through for us since we were on a limited time schedule to get other projects going to ready our house for sale. I would recommend them highly. Were very pleasant to work with.

Pretty good. The job is done nicely and fast.

They did a great job. They started on Monday and we moved out Tuesday and came back Friday. They covered things well, were on schedule and responsive to my calls or concerns. Would highly recommend.

They were great and really left no dust or dirt behind. I wanted a true Swedish finish in natural and they did exactly what I was looking for. Some companies use polymer and Varathane which is very different. If yo want the original style of finish especially in an older house, this is the company to use.

It went extremely well. We removed baseboards, carpet & padding ourselves. European Hardwood Flooring came in and fixed broken spots and refinished all the floors, and they look amazing! They even did custom transitions for the floors wherever they connect to different flooring (between tile and hardwood into kitchen & bathroom). Overall 5 star service, would hire these guys again.

Daniel gave very prompt service. His price was excellent. We were on a very tight schedule and I was concerned that he could be the schedule, but he performed exactly as he said he would. His crew was very courteous and helpful. I would feel very good hiring this hiring company again to do floor repairs for us.

Floors look better than we could have imagined

Very well. I had a tight schedule between closing on the house and needing to move in. Daniel and his workers were always professional, responsive to requests, willing to take the time to answer questions, and delivered a beautiful new floor. Several months after completion, when a small creak become noticeable in one spot on the floor, Daniel came to my home and made a repair. Highly recommended.

Daniel was responsive and fast. His crew completed the job, including a Swedish finish application, quickly and professionally, requiring us to be out of the home only two nights. They came in under other bids, We had perhaps a bit more clean-up to do afterwards, which we were glad to do given the price. The quality of the work was excellent!

We are completely happy with the results. Daniel arrived on time for our initial appointment. He was able to schedule us very quickly, which was important to us and the work was done efficiently and exactly as described. The floors came out beautifully!

Service was outstanding. Daniel and the crew were very professional, clean cut, and communicated effectively. Crew arrived promptly at 8:00 every morning. Work was right on budget with no surprise charges. Floors were completed on time. Where the new flooring was laced into the existing flooring looks original and you can not tell where the new floor started and old flooring ended. The finish is perfect- no dust/dirt/debris in the finish. Color is spot on. Will use again for next project. ***Note - photos are right after flooring was completed before new base trim and door moulding was installed.***

Our experience with European Hardwood Flooring's owner, Daniel, and his employees was excellent. It was clear that, knowing we were in an emergency situation, expedited the job. It still took a few weeks to complete, because Daniel and his team had to dry out the affected area first, but no one could have done the job faster, or more professionally. Daniel made special weekend trips, despite other obligations, to be sure the project was progressing as planned. Our floors now look like new, and there is no evidence of the damage done. We're very happy. We'd hire them again, for sure!

Daniel's team refinished our ~400 sqft living room hardwood. They were very punctual and very efficient. They also recommended that we changed the baseboard trim (we used to have a white baseshoe + baseboard of the hardwood color) to be a simple white baseboard. I hesitated initially, but he's recommendation was the right choice. Happy we did it. We are happy with the quality of the work and recommend them.

Daniel was extremely responsive to our initial call. It turns out that not only was he our first estimate, but also the best one for price. They remained flexible even when our schedules got tight, and were able to get the new wood delivered very quickly (2" red oak is pretty common). Daniel worked with us to get a really nice grey/white finish on the red oak, which turned out much better than we expected. Daniel made adjustments for some of the demo work that I did myself. His crew was very friendly and professional (I was there during most of the installation but not the finishing). I had them come back and repair some minor wall and tile damage, which they did for no charge. Finally, I had removed the floor trim myself before installation and was running out of time to get it replaced. Daniel offered to come back and do this for me himself, and for a very reasonable rate.

They are really good. I am really pleased. I think the pricing is fair and they respond very quickly. They are easy to work with. They will even let us do part of the work to make the cost on us lower.
