Excellent job. Daniel is a pleasure to work with - I highly recommend Daniel and his company European Hardwood Floors.

Opted for a different solution to the problem but felt the bid was very reasonable and with all the excellent reviews on Angie's List would have used them for sure.

They worked quickly and met my 48-hour turnaround deadline. They are a family business, so they work together to ensure top quality workmanship.

Daniel and his crew were professional, punctual, and pleasant craftsmen. Daniel made sure that the flooring they installed, matched as closely as possible, to the existing flooring; they did an excellent job. Clean-up was complete and the job was finished within the time frame promised. We are very happy with the results.

European Hardwood Floors showed up on time and finished on time. They did a great job. There was a small spot that was missed in the last coat so I called right away. They were out the very next morning first thing and fixed it. Also touched up the molding in a few spots. Very happy with them.

DANIEL GAVE US THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. HE IS A VERY PLEASANT KNOWLEDGEABLE PROFESSIONAL YOUNG MAN. EVERYTHING HE TOLD US UPFRONT WAS TRUE. SINCE THE SWEDISH FINISH SMELL IS SO STRONG WE WENT TO THE OCEAN FOR A FEW DAYS. WHEN WE GOT BACK OUR FLOORS WERE FINISHED AND THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL .

Excellent. They worked around our tight schedule, did a great job in quoting, scheduling, sanding, and refinishing our floors. Even filled in areas with wood filler where needed.

Daniel is very professional and easy to work with. All of his staff is very good as well. They took great care with our home. I highly recommend this company. I am an Interior Designer and am very familiar with the steps needed to do a great job. These guys don't cut corners and take pride in a job well done.

Wow! We got an estimate, told them we were in a hurry. Even though they were booked ahead a couple of weeks, they "worked us in" and performed a great job. Our floors were beautiful. Daniel was very professional, courteous and prompt. He and his crew are very hard workers and worth every penny.

Overall the job went perfectly. The job included carpet and tile removal, trim remove and replace, hardwood floor install, sanding and three coats of Swedish finish. Areas butting up to other flooring and up to fireplace were especially nice and this is where the attention to detail stood out. Additionally, Daniel and team accommodated a very tight schedule and worked over a holiday weekend to get the job done.

We bought a new house, and wanted the carpet removed, and the hardwood floors refinished before moving in 8 days later. I got two estimates, and explained that there was a limited time to do the job. Daniel came out on Monday and started the job the same day. He was a total professional, and took great care with the job. The floors look absolutely gorgeous, and the attention to detail is amazing. He offered to do some additional baseboard work to make a connecting area look more finished. When they took up the carpet, there was an unfinished piece of concrete we didn't know about, and he had a solution for that--putting down some extra hardwood there. Daniel's crew worked overtime and both days on the weekend to finish the day before the movers came. We are extremely pleased with the job, and look forward to working with European Hardwood Floors again in the future.

We recently purchased this house and we wanted to have the floor work completed before we moved in. Daniel was able to make room in his schedule to come and give an estimate on a days? notice. His estimate handily beat some of the competition. We also had a pretty aggressive schedule but Daniel and his crew was up to the task. They finished on time and the price was exactly as estimated. The floor and the stairs look beautiful. They also did a good job keeping dust out of the rest of the house and thoroughly cleaned after they were done. I highly recommend their services. We were very happy with the work.

Everything I read in other reviews turned out to be true -- Daniel was stellar in his customer service and the finished product exceeded our expectations. We were originally going to settle on a cheaper Pergo but thanks to Daniel?s knowledgeable recommendations and business connections, we were able to negotiate a fantastic deal on engineered bamboo. He was able to get us on the schedule in a week and his reliable crew worked long and hard every single day, including an entire Saturday to finish up. We ran into a couple unexpected issues with the floor not being entirely level and the planks resting flush with the bottom of a door, but in both instances they demonstrated a rare "get it done" attitude to resolve everything. Overall, we are impressed with the high quality of their craftsmanship and their attention to detail -- I wouldn't hesitate to work with this company again.

On schedule and under budget. Daniel and his crew were responsive to my requests and worked hard to produce quality end product. Needed one post installation service call to fix minor problem, and it was handled in well less than 24 hours from first reporting. End result is the 80 year old floors look as good or better than anything available new.

They arrived on time and performed all the work within the time frame we agreed upon. They helped move some furniture that I was unable to do myself. They did an excellent job - the floors look beautiful -- house is 50 years old and the floors look brand new!

Daniel scheduled the job within one week of my call. The crew members were professional, on time and did a great job.

We had initially left a negative report, because an appointment was scheduled. He came by the house and apologized in person, and provided a completely understandable explanation for what had occurred. We have talked again and are going to schedule another appointment. He has apologized. At this point in time, we have not gotten an estimate yet, but a new appointment has been scheduled, and i am very impressed that he has worked so hard to apologize and explain what has happened.

Superb. I heartily recommend getting hasrdwood floors refinished while you're on vacation.

He just seemed like he knew exactly what he was talking about and gave me a good estimate. He gave an estimate of $4000 for redoing our whole house hardwood flooring which is a lot. I would definitely hire him when we are ready for that. I really liked what he had to say.

European Hardwood Floors did an excellent job & was wonderful to deal with. Based on this experience I asked for a bid on another job.

Daniel Salgau is superb. He cares for the customer above & beyond commonly acceptable standards. He managed to match the existing hardwood floor very well. Initially, it was slightly off, so he went and got darker boards and gave us a discount because we had to stay out of the house for an extra day at a hotel. Highly recommended!

We are very pleased with the result. Came out and did the final coat after I installed kitchen cabinets. Followed up in a few days to see if we were have and came buy to pick up the final payment. My daughter and son-in-law used European Hardwoods a few months earlier and were pleased as well. I heartily recommend Daniel and his guys.

Daniel was very punctual and able to accommodate our repair work on a short time-frame - even working over the Holiday to get it done on time. The work that his team did was very good - the floors looked brand new again! Everybody on Daniel's team was professional and courteous and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Daniel Salgau detailed what his crew would do and solicited my input. He was very easy to work with and explained the what/why/how of the job. The installation went smoothly, they cleaned up and vacuumed at day's end. The floor is beautifu, I love it!
