Description of Work: I purchased a $99 kitchen design consultation offer from Empire Home Remodeling and they sent me an email about a week later through Angie's List. I didn't answer immediately because I wasn't ready to start the project. I did respond to the email within a few weeks but got no additional response from them. Over the past two months I have left two voice messages asking them to call me to set up a time for a kitchen remodel consultation as per the Angie's List offer. One voice message was directly to the owner. I've gotten no response from them since the initial email. I was hoping to have them remodel my kitchen since they seem to have good Angie's List reviews, but based on this poor customer service I will find someone else.

Description of Work: My first appointment was scheduled for 5/9/2014. It was a no show and when I called, Jeannie said she was sick (it would have been nice to get a phone call but I understand when someone is sick). We rescheduled for the following week (5/16), and another no show. I called again and she said her secretary was supposed to have called (not sure I believed that) but we rescheduled again for 5/18. She did come looked at what I wanted done with my two bathrooms. She said she would be contacting me and to date not a word from her or her husband. I would like to get my money back because I received nothing for what I paid for.

 + -1 moreThey came out to the house and we explained what we were thinking of doing. He asked some questions and came back with an estimate in a timely manner. He sat down with us and went over the estimate line for line, but it was out of our budget.
Description of Work: We were thinking about adding a room onto our house and they gave us an estimate for this.

 + 1 moreThe project went extremely well. The house was completed on time and we had a very tight time table. The project was also within budget even with multiple changes made a long the way. The laborers were polite and professional and well as timely. Empire made this stressful process as stress free as possible.
Description of Work: Full ground up building of our single family home. Including all excavation, demolition, and building of the house. Entire project was managed by Empire Home remodeling as well as all materials and labor.

 + 0 moreWe had a very good experience. It took a little bit longer than expected but the quality was good and the follow-up was good as well. We had some problems with the hot water dispenser in the kitchen and they replaced 2 of those for us at no cost.

 + -1 moreThey took the ideas from our interior decorator and they turned it into a reality. They were clean and they cleaned as they were working several times a day. They also put up plastic barriers. My house was cleaner than I left it. They worked with me and were very helpful in placing our wall. Our project manager was extremely responsive and reassuring. They wanted the job done to my satisfaction and checked in with me almost everyday. The mason they used has the soul of an artist. He was extremely neat as well, and came with a large tarp so none of the grit from him cutting would get on to the patio. They worked with me on the price. I am planning on using them again and would and have recommended them to others.
Description of Work: They remodeled our great room. They had to remove a bearing wall and moved an original wall back 18 feet.

 + -1 moreI told them what I wanted and they made it into a reality. I had no plans. They helped me decide where to put my table so they could put in the pendant light that hangs down. They took our furniture out while they were remodeling and put it in a pod outside we had rented. When they were finished they put it back.
Description of Work: They took out my old ugly track lighting we already had. They put in new track lighting and put in recessed canned lighting in the ceiling. We have a lot of art in display cases and they spaced the lighting to highlight what we have.
