Response from AAA-1 ROOF CARE
Just to explain a little more on this subject, we were called to do an estimate at the home. This customer said she could not sell her home with piles of moss and debris on the roof as it made the home look really bad for a buyer. This roof was neglected for years as well as many other items around the home. We bid to remove the moss and debris, repair the roof in areas, and seal the roof. We explained on the bid as well as over the phone the roof was washed in the past by someone else with really high pressure. Additionally, we explained to her the roof needed repairs where we could see the roofing material, we could not see under the debris and moss on the roof in most areas of the roof and the condition was most likely poor. She had us wash the roof anyway due to, she explained, she had to attract a buyer though we recommend re-roofing for a buyer. In conclusion, she was informed of all the detailed problems with her roof up front, we completed the job at her request and she attracted a buyer as she wanted. Having an inspector call for a new roof was not surprising, though she did not call us about that, she just complained about us all over the internet though we explained the roofs condition was poor in advance of any work we did on the job. That roof by the way is not leaking and would last at least 5 more years after we completed the work she requested us to do.
