This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. They scheduled THREE appointments for the initial quote before they actually showed up. I should've known then, but someone recommended them and things happen, so I went ahead and ordered a door from them. The install was a nightmare. Colin showed up 3 hours late, and didn't have all the brackets to finish the install, so he said he'd be back "first thing in the morning." When he hadn't arrived by 10 the next day, I started calling the shop, only be told they would get a message to him and he would call me back. I called again around noon, and again around 1:30. By three, Colin answered the phone at the shop and said he had to see if he had all the parts and would call me back. Half an hour later, he hadn't called me, so I called again. He answered the phone and fairly rudely said "I told you I would call you back when I found all the parts." You can imagine I didn't have much faith in that, and I was right: he didn't call back. After 4 pm, Blaze called to say he would call me in the morning between 8 and 8:30 and that Colin would be there first thing. Blaze didn't call. When I called the shop in the morning, Colin did finally call me back to say he was in route, but then showed up over an hour later. This lack of communication was frustrating, but the real cincher was the half inch gap Colin left around the door, which allows water to escape. When we called, Colin adamantly stated that the gap was "within specifications" on the sides and that he had forgotten to leave the weatherstripping for the bottom. He said he would drop off the weatherstripping and send an email with the specifications. He did neither. We called again and specifically stated we were not satisfied and were not willing to pay the remaining balance until we were satisfied. The very next morning I found out they had run my credit card for the remaining balance. I have no paperwork regarding the glass manufacturer, how to care for the shower, or any warranty on the install. I am completely unhappy with not only the lack of communication from beginning to end, but also with the poor results. I would NEVER use their services again.

We brought the truck in at the appointed time and Vancouver Glass was ready to receive us. They said the truck would be ready in a couple of hours, and it was. Cost was exactly as quoted. We left with our newly installed windshield happy.

It went great. Vancouver Glass was the first place I called for an estimate. Dale, the owner, was very straightforward. He even suggested questions to ask when I call other companies so that I could compare their prices fairly with his. I called two other places. One had a higher price. The other was less expensive, but I felt like I was given a very hard sell. They wanted me to get my insurance company on the phone and close the deal right then.

I called back Vancouver Glass who was able to bring down his price a little bit. Dale was very honest and very easy to work with. He also worked well with my insurance company.

They did an excellent job.

You might have to leave the car there for the work, so you may need to find a ride. They told me they would provide a ride for me, and they did so.

Vancouver Glass sent someone over to give me an estimate within a few days of my call. After accepting the estimate, they ordered the special bronze reflective glass and scheduled the installation one week after ordering. They showed up on time and had the window installed in about 30 minutes for the estimated price.

They did a fantastic job and they were done very quickly. They were really prompt and the timing was exactly in line with what they said it would be. Everyone was in uniform and they did a great job on the windshield.

I was okay with that the first time I went in but I had to go back three times to get it taken care of. In the meantime my car was leaking water from the windshield. The third time I was not happy after having to wait 9 hours. The gentlemen was uninterested in compensating me for my time. He was downright rude.

The entire process was handled very efficiently. The employees I dealt with, acted like they actually liked doing their work. It is always refreshing to hire someone who acts like they enjoy working for you! They were businesslike, efficient, skilled and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend this company to you. I plan on ordering bathroom mirrors from them in the near future, as I know that they will do a good job for me.

THERE WERE SEVERAL ERRORS THAT A 'TOP NOTCH' OUTFIT WOULD NOT DO: 1) THE FELLOW MISREAD HIS TAPE MEASURE AND ORDERED 46" WIDE GLASS INSTEAD OF 49" WIDE GLASS. HE RE-SET THE OLD (NOW BROKEN) WINDOW AND RE-ORDERED THE NEW GLASS. I HAD TO GO OUT IN THE RAIN AND PUT UP AN EMERGENCY COVER OVER THE WINDOW TO STOP THE RAIN FROM COMING IN. 2) THE FELLOW BROKE THE STOP TRIM IN TWO PLACES AND SUGGESTED THAT "I JUST COVER THE CRACK WITH PAINT."

AFTER MY GRANDSON BROKE THE KITCHEN WINDOW, WE HAD IT REPLACED WITH A VINYL WINDOW WHICH WILL GIVE US BETTER ELECTRIC SAVINGS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND SOME DAY WE WILL REPLACE THE REST OF THE WINDOWS.
