4-28-17 I was looking for tile contractor on home advisor.com. I chose Masterworks because there were over twenty 5 star reviews. All were stellar and after meeting him and getting a bid, I knew why. He is very busy, but focuses on your project when its scheduled, rather than try to manage several at a time. He works very hard and efficiently. Nick is professional and very easy to work with. He has ideas and experience, that make planning your project a breeze! To define his work, the words that describe it best are: artistic, talented, passionate, magnificent, exceptional and perfection. We hired him for a shower remodel to replace a tired and outdated fiberglass corner enclosure. He designed and created a masterpiece far beyond our expectations. We now have a 40 x 68 retreat that is spectacular in appearance and function. The job was completed in a timely manner with a minimum of inconvenience, that's expected with any construction project. Dennis was also polite and professional with the same attention to detail as Nick. Nick has my highest recommendation without hesitation. Nick is a great man in his work ethic, integrity, and passion and truly enjoys his work. I now consider him a friend not just a contractor. Put your next project in his hands and you will be amazed!

Nick and Dennis were amazing. When our master bath shower cracked and flooded the adjacent room, I was at a loss where to start with repairs. Nick came highly recommended from a friend of a friend. He came over the same day I called for an estimate and guided me through the process of picking out new materials. The demo and sub-floor replacement went great but it was his tile work and excellent communication that was so impressive! I highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone looking to have tile work done.

The tile in our shower cracked and broke away from the cement board. We had a leak down into the basement because of how the tile was originally installed--with no proper waterproofing done behind the tile itself. We also needed to have the backsplash installed in our kitchen. Nick came and gave us a reasonable bid to complete both the kitchen backsplash and the master shower. He was able to begin within the week--basically as soon as we found tile that we liked! Nick and his crew were very pleasant to have in our house. They were careful with our belonging and laid drop clothes around their work areas to prevent damage and tracking "dirt" around the house. Nick also checked in with us frequently to be sure we liked what he was doing and didn't want to change anything as we went through the process. We would definitely use Nick again if we need more tile work.

When we planned our master bathroom renovation, we had no idea it would turn out the way it did. The first contractor we hired, said it would be a 3-week job and really sold us on his skills (tiling in particular). After 2 months, the bathroom still wasn't finished and the first contractor botched everything terribly. The first contractor's tile work looked like a 12-year old did it. It was horrific. We had to get rid of that contractor and demo everything out to start all over from square one. We were so disappointed, as you could imagine. That's when we found Nick at Masterworks Tile Installation here on Home Advisor. Nick was a lifesaver! He took a horrible tile job (from the other contractor) and turned our bathroom into a thing of beauty! His work ethic is incredible and his attention to detail is AMAZING! The difference between the two jobs was night and day. I wish I could post photos showing the difference in Nick's wonderful work and the other contractor's job. Nick's shower pan alone was a thing of beauty! Nick is honest, extremely detail oriented and a very hard worker. He took great care with everything in our bathroom and you can tell that he really puts his heart into his work. Our bathroom tile is so beautiful - like magazine-worthy beautiful thanks to Nick! Our bathroom was a lot of tiling and Nick did every inch of it himself (except for the demo which was done very carefully by his helper Mike). It took about a month to complete all the tile work and that was fine with us as we knew Nick was taking his time to do everything perfect and right, which is what you want in a bathroom remodel. Even the prep work - backerboard, Red Guard, waterproofing, niches, etc. was done with such care. Every surface was leveled to perfection. We did a very linear tile design and Nick's lines are gorgeous - perfectly straight in every way! All the reviews here on Home Advisor regarding Nick are correct. Seriously, just hire him. His work is amazing and his pricing is more than fair based on the quality of his work! Nick is truly a tile master and we can't recommend him enough. You won't be disappointed.

Nick demo'ed my masterbath and installed a new porcelain subway tile shower with a marble shower bench and niche. His work is amazing, all tile cuts and grout lines are perfect - he has amazing attention to detail and it shows in the quality of his work. He was a great help in selecting materials and selecting other contractors for the work he could not do (frameless shower door, plumbing). I honestly would hire him again in a second, and if we move anytime soon, I'll be asking him to recreate my bathroom again in the new place. He was also very friendly and easy to work with through the whole process.

Nick is great. He properly diagnosed the problem with our original flooring and did a masterful job replacing the Travertine Stone in our master bathroom. He is conscientious about his work and polite in his dealings. Nick removed and replaced the full floor; honoring his time commitments and quoted price. Nick is now our "tile guy" and our friend.

All the reviews here on home advisor speak the truth about Nick with Masterworks Tile. Nick has remarkable work ethic and an outstanding attention to detail. He is very trustworthy and communicates well. I was so pleased with Nick and his guys I looked forward to paying them for their outstanding work. After meeting and interacting with them, they became (in my mind) guests in my home rather than hired contractors. Thanks again.

The granite work Nick did on my kitchen changed the look of the entire house.. Excellent job!!! Nick is a true professional, who does his job in accordance to his believes.. very easy to work with.. Nick also cleaned and sealed countertops in two rooms, one limestone and one granite. He polished an outside rock bench top and set a path stone. He will be back to grout a shower. Excellent work and very focused. A true professional.

Nick is a true professional with a passion for his trade. His skill and love for his job is easily seen in his work. The tiles are flush, the corners are square, the thought and layout of tile patterns (to verify that we liked the look before he installed it), the high level of perfection that he put into our tile work is exactly what you want from an installer, and all too often not what you receive....Thank You Nick for being the professional that communicates throughout the job to make sure the customer is happy with the finished product. Nick installed tile in our laundry room, a half bath, a full shower, flooring and backsplash in our guest bathroom. His work was so impressive that he ended up at the neighbors house a couple weeks later as they were so impressed with his work that they hired him for a similar project. A third neighbor has him on the books for future bathroom remodel work...all of it coming from seeing his skills and professionalism on our remodel. You get what you pay for and in this case Nick's bid for his work was more than competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend Masterworks Tile Installation for any of your tile work needs. Nick does most of the install by himself so quality control is not an issue. He does not work fast...Do Not Hire an installer that works fast...you'll regret it later. Nick takes his time and as stated in other reviews, is willing to work long hours if need be to get the job done on time. We love our new remodel! Thank you Nick!

Nick took the time to discuss any part of the operation with me as he worked methodically and meticulously. What a beautiful product he left behind! It's almost a shame to think about having to shower and dirty up his beautiful creation!

I would highly recommend this company for tile installation. Excellent communications, fast service. Worked very long days to meet a deadline. We had a small, challenging tile job and Nick's work was amazing. We are thrilled with the tile work he did.

Nick was easy to work with. I had purchased tile online and needed someone to install it as a kitchen back splash up to the cabinets. His quote was on line with others I received. He had the work scheduled within 1 week of the quote. Nick arrived on time and worked 14 hrs to make sure he had the work completed that day as it was my only day off from work. He is very dedicated to his customers and takes pride in his work. The tile work is beautiful! Nick was also very thorough in cleaning up. I intend to use him again when I am ready to remodel the bathrooms next.

We hired another company to install about 300 square feet of tile in a bathroom - shower, floor, and walls. They botched the job - horribly. Uneven tile, crooked grout lines, etc. We fired that company, and brought in Nick with Masterworks. Nick is a perfectionist! He removed all the bad tile and thinset, and re-installed it. It's beautiful now! Nick is reasonable on time, on price, friendly, always and communicates if he's unsure how you want something. Very professional! If you want it done right the first time, on budget, and on schedule, call Masterworks. They'll fix you up!

Nick had to tear out and redo a whole shower and pan that had been done incorrectly and uneven and was a very poor job. Nicks work when he was done was like night and day difference. His work was done to perfection and you can tell he loves what he does and he puts his heart and soul into his work. The completed job was 100 times better then the first job that he had to tear out and redo. I feel very fortunate to have found him to fix my horrible job that was done by a different "so called" tile installer!! I highly recommend Nick!!
