LeafDrop Gutters & Downspouts

I received a call from their office the same day I sent in an email request. Their installation manager, Shane Haupt, came by to give quote/estimate and was about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled appointment. We agreed to his quote and scheduled install. His crew showed up on time and finished the entire house in about a half a day. In addition to replacing the gutters and downspouts, they also removed and re-installed the vinyl gutter covers I had on my original gutters, which I thought was above and beyond regular service, even though it had been included in the original bid. The price quoted is what was paid. I would definitely re-hire and recommend this company to anyone looking to install new gutters.

Erik showed up on time and was very professional and honest . He completed the project in a timely manner and when he finished he cleaned up any debris including stuff he wasn't responsible for . His product is a special patented design that is in my opinion the best on the market . All downspouts should be required to be of this design .

Erik was excellent! The gutter installation was not typical, and required expertise - Erik scoped the work and the finished product is outstanding. I've had gutter cleaning services for less, but the job was done.

The gutter crew came out on time as scheduled, were very professional, and did a great job. We had a weird section of roof that was slanted (100 yr old house) which made it difficult to drain the gutter toward the downspout. The crew worked to install a custom solution to move the water in the correct direction and did not charge us extra. The gutters have been working perfectly since installed. Price was certainly fair, just on the more expensive end. We basically chose to pay more for a better company...after reading about them here on Angie's list. Additionally, we needed drainage pipes installed in the ground to drain the water from the downspouts to the street. Dan said they don't do drainage work (only the gutters $3300), but recommended a friend of his to dig the ditches and install the pipes underground ($1500 - it was a pretty large project). His buddy Rob Castro did the work for us. He also did a great job and I would highly recommend both Rob and Dan. We don't have water in the basement anymore after all the recent downpours. Happy customer for sure.

Erik McDaniel was my contact person who worked with me on the bid, scheduling, and installation. He did a wonderful job, and my new gutters look great. I appreciated the quick response to my initial inquiry, the quality of service and product, along with the professionalism. The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Erik arrived promptly at our appointment time, and was quickly able to figure out the cause of our overflowing gutter (a downspot clogged with mud and leaves.) We discussed the possibility of adding a wider downspout to help deter future debris accumulation, but I was in no way pressured into making this upgrade. I'd be very happy to reach out to LeafDrop again if we need additional repairs, or if we choose to widen our downspouts in the future.

Erik at Leaf Drop came up with a creative solution for the downspout for the gutter. The way the yard slopes made it impossible to have a standard downspout configuration.

My wife and I needed our 40 year-old steel gutters replaced on our house. Last year, from fall to early winter, I was up on a ladder cleaning out leaves from a maple tree and needles from a hemlock tree from the gutters about every two weeks. Not fun! Especially when it is below freezing and everything is iced over. We decided enough is enough, so we decided before the rains started, we would "bite the bullet" and get new gutters. We set out to find a system that would require little or no maintenance. After much research, I was getting discouraged by what seemed like the high failure rate of covered and shielded gutter systems. Fortunately, we stumbled across Dan Kerr and LeafDrop Gutters. Being an engineer, I immediately appreciated the simplicity and cleverness of the design. Erik McDaniels came out and gave us an estimate. We told him what we were looking for. We both felt he really listened respectfully and did not try to up-sell. The installation crew lead by Gino was extremely very professional, respectful, and courteous. While the price at first seemed high to us, after the installation, we realized that we purchased a really premium system and it was actually an great value when compared to other premium systems. We ordered the oversize 6k gutters and four of the self-cleaning LeafDrop downspouts. So far, in the heavy rains, the system is working great! So far, the self-cleaning feature appears to be washing the leaves and needles into the trap positioned near the ground. I cannot express how relieved we both are not to have to worry about "waterfalls" flowing over the the edge of our gutters or climbing up a ladder in the freezing cold. Thank you Dan! The scheduling and work went smoothly.

Everything went according to plan. Erik McDaniel's is a pro. He gave me an estimate for the work. Educated me on what the best solution was for my home. Returned a few weeks later to perform the work. I am very pleased with the results. In fact one of my neighbors saw Erik's work and asked for his number.

Excellent. The crew installed everything in a manner I had expected. They also paid close attention to some surface protection concerns I had addressed prior to the work performance. They were punctual and tidy. The new roof drain system really looks great!!

We called LeafDrop, because of their high rating on Angie's List. Dan was punctual and very professsional. He explained our options and showed us samples of replacement gutters and downspouts. We were surprized to learn that the new materials came in a large variety of colors. We chose colors that were nearly a perfect match to our old system. We chose the LeafDrop system. The gutters and downspouts are wider than our previous system and the cleanout screens are easy to reach. I waited to do this review until we had some significant rain. We had a real downpour and the new system had no problems. We would recommend LeafDrop to others.

It went very well, starting with the visit from the owner when I got his bid. He is clearly an expert. It made a big impression that he provided detailed information about gutters and downspouts, making me feel much better prepared to make an informed decision about my options. The workers arrived as scheduled and did the work with excellent efficiency and attention to detail. The new gutters and downspouts are a big improvement.

I called Dan Kerr at LeafDrop Gutters. Dan came over right away, discussed options and estimated my job. I agreed with his terms, signed the contract and he scheduled my job within 2 weeks. Dan's crew came over on the appointed day- removed the old gutters and downspouts and began installing the new material I had selected. I had lots of questions for them, which they patiently answered for me. They worked diligently with a high degree of skill and professionalism, and had the whole job completed in a day and a half. I am very satisfied with the material and the quality of their work, and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

They did a great job with replacing my gutters but there was some damage to my siding. Why I am so impressed with this company was that they recognized that a mistake was made and my siding was repaired by my other contractor and LeafFrop paid for it. Now issues, complaints, nothing. Accidents happen but it is what companies do after that makes the differences. This company is A++ in my opinion.

The company was a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in response and scheduling and always showed up on time. Dan even showed me how the problem (dry rot on fascia) was not due to my old gutters, but due to an improperly finished roof. He told me how to repair it and where to get the materials. He was also very honest about what areas would need repair and which were still good. I will definitely contact this company again if I need help with gutters in the future!
