Very professional, punctual and the best price. What's not to like? Seriously I would recommend them highly.

The experience was good. He came and gave me a bid and took care of it right on the spot. His price was in the ballpark. He didn't beat any others but his price was the same. He was on time.

Dan promptly scheduled an appointment after my call and showed up on time. He was more thorough and straightforward than a few other providers. He assessed the state of our gutters and screens, and said he felt they were functioning, even though they were a little funky. If you are in need of new gutters, I recommend you give Dan a call. In our brief visit, he was professional, sincere and pragmatic.

Dan Kerr came over to give us an estimate and was here to do the gutters three days later. The whole job took about two hours. They didn't have to tear down the old gutters, as the roofing crew had done that several months ago, and we had new facia board in place, so the job was "easy," according to Dan. He and his crew moved quickly and efficiently and got the job done neatly and seemingly to perfection. It hasn't rained much yet, but I'm confident that the gutters will hold up nicely when it does. Dan is exactly what you want in a contractor -- someone who doesn't mess around and just gets the job done when he says it will be done. Oh, and don't forget to mention the Angie's List coupon! It completely slipped our minds, but we were happy enough with the price and the quality of the job, so we're trying not to kick ourselves too much for it.

It went well! From arriving promptly for the estimate to completing the job, Dan was on schedule. He kept us informed and involved us in options throughout the work. The finished system looks great, and his tests showed it works! (We will need to wait until the rainy season for the final test.) Functionally, we see no reason why this shouldn't prove to be a good system. Asthetically, we already know it looks great. It's a huge improvement over the old system. Dan also suggested and installed new traps so that the pipes won't plug up. He was a pleasure to work with....a really nice guy with creative solutions. We'd call him again in a minute for any gutter and downspout projects and would certainly recommend him to friends.

Our 35-year old gutter system desperately needed replaced. I found Kerr Exteriors LLC on Angie's List and was impressed with the reviews I read. Dan Kerr (owner) was able to come out the day after I called to assess our situation. He gave us a very fair bid with no sales pressure. Dan was able to schedule our job earlier than anticipated which made me very happy. (We needed to schedule around my jury duty.) He and his crew were here on time and immediately started tearing down the old gutter system. Since our new gutters are seamless steel, Dan brought his truck with the special equipment to cut the gutters for precise fit. He also found a remedy for a roof "valley" that always overflowed our old gutter. Now all we need is a good rain to test it out. The downspouts are rust-proof aluminum. I was overwhelmed with information from researching gutter covers. Dan simplified it by explaining that heavy-duty screens alone will keep out most debris and allow the rainwater to enter the gutters, rather than spill out over the gutters. Upon completion, they cleaned up so well, you wouldn't know they were ever here. And no damage to our flowers and shrubs. I am very pleased with the entire project from start to finish. I highly recommend Kerr Exteriors LLC.

They did a splendid job! I would have them again in a nano second. BUT Dear Angie's list........I sent a detailed evaluation in to you right after the job was done. The evaluation took a great deal of time to write because Kerr exteriors did such a fabulous job I wanted to make sure it covered exactly how far over the top they were. Needless to say, I am disappointed that evidently you didn't receive it, or lost it. I'm sure Kerr Exteriors was disappointed, too. Please make sure this evaluation gets published. I haven't had any problems. They are working perfectly. They look good. They were responsive to what I wanted to do with the down spouts. They did a good job at cleaning up. They had better prices than the other companies. I would use them again.

Very well. We had set an approximate date for the work to be done, and they kept us advised through the week of just when they would get to our job. They arrived exactly on time. They were careful not to set up ladders where shrubs and plantings would be affected. The work was done in a matter of hours; and they honored our Angie's List coupon. The price came to just what the estimate had been, less the coupon.

We have a small home with a history of water issues. When Dan came by to do the estimate, he also guided us in the best positions for placing storm drain access. Once we completed the install of the storm drain, dan's team came in and had gutters up and installed in 1/2 a day. They were here on time and ready to go the sunday before christmas. Also, they kept working even with the rain coming down. They paid attention to details like: -bringing the downspout around our rockwork/wood trim details -were careful with all of our new trim/siding -put the leaf catchers in a wonderful spot (on the drains) for easy access -cleaned up everything, including the gutters We are incredibly happy with our new gutters. They suit the house and work wonderfully.

Dan replaced the gutters on my house. He moved one downspout from the house to the porch because it had sunken lower than the house. He artfully shaped the downspout around the contours of the porch uprights, and put a hinge where it hits the ground so that we can lift it to mow. He also used higher-end leaf guards at our request. It did take several weeks for us to get on his schedule, but I consider that a good thing because he must have a lot of clients. He also looked at my freestanding garage and noticed that the roof is leaking, so we're going to hire him again to fix that. The only thing that wasn't excellent was that he left a lot of paint chips where he removed the old downspouts...and they're lead-based (which we didn't think to mention), so we had to have that shop-vac'ed by our handyman.

I contacted Dan via email through Angie's List. Received a call from Dan within 10 minutes. We scheduled a meeting for an estimate within a few days. Dan arrived on time and was very easy to talk with. We then scheduled a time to have him come and start the project. Although we were delayed a few days due to bad weather Dan kept in contact with me at all times. I was never left wondering what was going on. They arrived the day of work on time and with a great crew. They removed the old gutters and took care of my existing flower beds, and cleaned up all the mess from the old gutters. The next day they installed the new gutters. Dan and his crew were awesome. Always there to answer any questions I had. They were very nice and professional. They new gutters looked great. Super good job. I would highly recommend them. Dan even called a few weeks later just to see if i was happy with the new gutters and that they were working well. After having some pretty heavy spring rains I could report that the new gutters were functioning perfect. I couldn't be happier that we hired Dan and his crew they were great!

We are thrilled! Dan is both a professional and a good guy! We felt immediately confident in Dan during our first meeting. He followed through on everything promised to complete the new gutter installation. He offered to bring us an additional piece ofgutter to further facilitate drainage into a flower bed area. It was not in the initial estimate and Dan offered to do it free of charge. How can it get better than that? We would highly recommend Dan without hesitation.

Dan responded quickly to our request for a bid, showed up on time, and did the job the following day. We were concerned that installing a long span would be problematic asthetically, but Dan put in just enough drop to accomplish our goal, while keeping it visually acceptable. He was careful to check for low spots that would cause the gutter not to drain properly. Dan's color suggestion turned out to be right on, and the screens he added seem to fit well and are unobtrusive. The crew was friendly and careful not to destroy landscaping. They also didn't leave behind garbage as evidence of their having been there. There was a hump in the roofing over the firewall between the duplex units that was unsightly but, for no extra cost, Dan reworked it so that it tucked in nicely and didn't draw your attention. We are very pleased with the work and the experience. We will use Dan again. The only negative is that Dan is not a paperwork guy. He was out of business cards when we first met and, possibly because the job went so quickly, he forgot to send us an invoice until I requested it a week later. These aren't big issues though when the people are nice, on time, and do a good job.

Update: One of my gutters developed a small drip at the corner. I talked to Dan about it. Even after a year and a half, he came out and did the repair at no cost. Now thats what I call great service! Thanks Dan. Dan (Kerr Exteriors) replaced all the gutters on my house after several of them rusted out. I was impressed with the professional job from start to finish. Also, was pleasantly surprised at the price quoted and value received. We live in a rural area and its often difficult to get contractors to even come out but Dan dropped by on a weekend to do the quote and completed work on the date agreed. He showed up when he said he would, completed work with little disruption, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Before the job was started, I had several questions about colors and materials. Dan responded promptly to my emails to resolve the questions that came up. Quality of the gutter work is excellent too. The corners are perfect and they carry a clean line around the house without waviness. No leaks either. The original gutters were hung with spikes. Dan used clips on the new gutters to avoid additional holes in the rafter ends and insecure mounting that could result. He also suggested clips on every rafter because of the potential snow load. Clips look better too. I'm completely satisfied and recommend Dan highly to anyone in the area needing gutter work.

Kerr Exterior LLC did a professional job. Dan replaced the broken gutter with a new one (which he fabricated onsite), installed a new debris trap, refastened one of my other gutters (which he noticed appeared to be on it way down), and cleaned all of the remaining gutters on the house. The work was done on time, and according to estimate. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. The new gutter looks great.

Dan Kerr was a nice guy who gave me the best deal on replacing my gutters. There was one other person in the same price category and two that were $300+ over his bid. I chose Kerr Exteriors because he lived in the same city as I do and I try to have local companies perform the services I need.. He was very accommodating and extended their 1 year warranty on labor and materials which I wasn't comfortable with to warranty to 5 years. I would highly recommend Dan who worked with one other person so it only took a day and a couple of hours.Because of the weather they were unable to do the job on the original planned dates but that was out of their hands. I had 4 companies bid on my job. Two were in the $800's and two were at $1100. I felt like Dan was most accommodating out of the 4 companies. I would reommend him for any job,

Very brief encounter but very focused and resolved our issues.

We bought our house 2 years ago, and never gave the gutters any thought until this winter when they started pooling up in a few spots and cascading in to the yard, and on to the aluminum awnings that cover most of our windows. I spent a day cleaning them successfully, but once I spent some time up close I realized how decrepit and ugly they were. There were also a few areas where they were visibly bent and falling away from the house. I decided to get an estimate to replace them. Dan Kerr from Kerr Exteriors was one of my first calls, after doing my contractor homework on Angie's List. It was a great experience from start to finish. I did get a few other bids, and while those contractors seemed fine, they were more expensive and less friendly. Dan answered on my first call, and came over that afternoon in person. After a walk-around, he spent an hour writing up a full estimate and followed up with a detailed spread sheet that broke down all of the costs in his written estimate. He repeated several times in person, and later in writing, that while the gutters were not in great shape, replacing them at that time was not absolutely necessary, and that if we wanted to wait a few years it would be OK. He wasn't trying to get out of a job he was too busy to do, but just saying in a matter of fact way. While our motives to get them replaced were 75% due to the fact that they were aging and breaking down, we were 25% motivated by aesthetics as we're in the process of cleaning up the curb appeal of our house and getting ready to paint this summer. We gave the go-ahead, and the job went super smooth. Dan was in touch regularly, and proactively regarding schedule and the basics what to expect. More importantly, the quality of the work that he and his crew did is top notch. The gutters and downspouts are all perfectly straight, sealed, and clean. No drips or leaks. The fabricated custom leaf traps for all of the sewer traps at no additional charge. It really cleaned up the look of the whole house and for just under $1,000 we couldn't be more pleased. When the job was done you would have never known they were there. No trash or building debris of any kind was left behind. We never paid a dime more than the original bid, and after we paid up in full Dan came back over to install a custom leaf trap that he made, and to inspect and fix a leaky awning (nothing to do with the gutter replacement) and sealed it for free. Don't waste your time, at least get a bid from Kerr Exteriors and rest easy knowing it will get done right the first time. ***When Dan was over inspecting the gutters I asked him if he could recommend any roofers and he said that his background was as a roofer and that his company did roof's too. He supplied us with a bid for that and we used him to do a complete roof overlay (not a full tear-off). He completed this work at the same time as the gutters. Another great experience. I noticed that our roof was leaking a little bit around the chimney in to the attic. I also knew that whoever did our roof over 20 years ago didn't use enough metal drip flashing and some minor water damage was starting to take place and due to this there was some dripping on to our covered patio. I decided to get a bid to replace the roof. I originally called Kerr Exteriors (after much Angie's List research) to get a bid for gutter replacement, and after asking Dan if he had any recommendations for roofers, he said that was his background and that Kerr Exteriors did roofs too and offered to submit a bid for that. It was an awesome experience from beginning to end. Dan answered on my first call, and came over that afternoon in person. After a walk-around and a climb up on the roof, he spent an hour writing up a full estimate and followed up with a detailed spread sheet that broke down all of the costs in his written estimate. He repeated several times in person, and later in writing, that while the roof was not in great shape, he thought we could patch up a few areas and get by for another 4 or 5 years. He wasn't trying to get out of a job that he was too busy to do, but just saying in a matter of fact way. Admittedly, part of the reason that we wanted the roof (and gutters) done was to clean up the look of the house and to prepare it for a future paint job. Dan also pointed out that the last time our roof was done (probably over 20 years ago) it was a full tear off and that an overlay would be perfectly suitable, not to mention cheaper, and would look just as good and last just as long. We gave the go ahead, and Dan was very communicative and proactive with regards to scheduling and preparing us for what to expect at the house. Since we did the job in the winter we had to wait for a weather window and Dan and his team nailed it. It took about 5 days to do the gutters and the roof. When they were done the driveway and yard was super clean - you would never know they were there. Most importantly the quality of the work was amazing. They did a full tear off in the area around the chimney to ensure that those leaks were addressed at the source of the problem. They installed drip flashing around the entire house and detached garage. The new black roofing tile looks great and all of the lines are straight and super clean looking. (SEE PHOTOS). They did the gutters at the same time and these things together dramatically improved the curb appeal of our house. Dan's estimate was accurate and we didn't have to pay one dime over the original bid for a whole week of work for him and his crew. 50% up front and 50% upon satisfactory completion. So again, overall an amazing experience and I can't believe I'm saying this but there were no negatives. Great craftsmanship and good old fashioned professionalism.
