They were very responsive. We just talked about my backyard. I would recommend him.

They sent out a crew who got the job done quickly (equaled out to 9 labor hours). It was wonderful. They followed directions and worked efficiently. A's all the way around

we talked and came up with a plan. Would have liked a drawing or simple sketch but that would have been $250 more.

Covered in previous section. Only to add is the work mentioned was phase 1 then after my home receives and next exterior siding and roofing more landscape work would have been completed.

Chris was wonderful throughout the design and installation. He was very patient working with a perfectionist who needed guidance. He was helpful, supportive, creative throughout the whole project. It took about 3 weeks. He also subcontracted a cement company, Sandy's Concrete which were great guys too. They work magic with stained concrete. Our patio looks like leather. Everyone who comes in our backyard is wowed by our patio. Very highly recommended. Priceless company.

We paid $50 via Angies on May 22nd for a Father Nature proposal. Cameron from Father Nature consulted with us at our residence on June 16th. We were not sure whether our irrigation system needed serious repair or replacement. Cameron said they only do new systems and he would give us the name of a man who does irrigation repair. I provided scale drawings of our yard regarding work we wanted done, existing features such as trees, sewer & utility lines, etc. Cameron emailed proposals between June 20 - 26, one for each side of our yard: $9347.81, $7635.76, $10,728.17, and $13,646.99. Each proposal was good for only 30 days. The 4 proposals did not include replacement or repair of our irrigation system. The proposals did not name the person whom we could contact regarding repair. Cameron did not return our scale drawings. To our knowledge, Cameron did not try to contact us by phone or email following the proposals. I sent an email to Cameron on June 30th regarding questions and possible changes to Cameron's proposals but did not receive a reply. I tried to contact him by phone several times before and after June 30th but was not successful (voice mailbox full, etc.). On August 1st, we received a generic advertisement email from Amanda at Father Nature for yard maintenance in Autumn. There was no mention of the 4 proposals by Cameron that had just expired. Because Cameron / Father Nature would not or could not email or phone us back regarding the proposals before they expired, we decided they must be too busy to bother with us during their busy season or our file may have just been lost. Therefore we have decided to work with a different contractor for our yard work (also via Angies).

They came out and gave us a plan. They were a bit slow in getting back to me.

Cameron was very pleasant and most of the work went as desired, but there were several problems. First of all we were promised 6" thick concrete, but the forms were only for 3 1/2 inches. When I pointed this out they did modify it to be closer to 6 inches. The concrete by our basement stairs was sloped the wrong way so water tends to run to the house rather than away from it. The sod also did not take and has died. despite several calls and promises to come check it out, no one has come by. I guess I'll have to do it myself. I held off on this review because I wanted to give them a chance to come by and fix the issues. I wanted to give a good review, but without better follow up, just can't. If the follow up were better, I would recommend this team, but the lack of addressing concerns would make me think twice before using them again.

We needed a flagstone type pathway placed. We got 4 estimates. Father Nature was the highest by far and he was the only one who charged for the estimate. He was knowledgeable.

I called two landscaping services that were highly rated on Angie's List and Father Nature was the only one that called me back. Cameron was prompt in making an appointment to come out to review the scope of the project and presented me with a proposal within a few days. The original proposal was a little more than I was willing to spend so he found a way to bring the project cost down to my comfort level. The work crew that came out to do the clearing work as well as the preparation and plant installation were all pleasant, polite and hard working. They did a nice job of cleaning up at the end. After several months it looked like one of the new trees wasn't going to make it. I spoke to Chris who came out to take a look and followed up with the plant vendor who said that all their trees of that particular species were having a similar issue. Chris and I agreed to give it another four weeks and see if it would rebound. The plant recovered so replacement wasn't necessary, however, Father Nature would have replaced it if that had been necessary. I would definitely use their services again and, in fact, did have them add a couple of screening trees after the initial project had been completed. My one suggestion to make their service even more impressive would be to leave the client with a list of all the plants that are part of the project along with instructions for care and maintenance.

Appeared on time. Conducted assessment quickly. Listened closely to my needs. Attitude was very friendly and professional. Made sure to explain all the options and prices involved, with no heavy handed upsell. Estimate came in a close second to the winning contractor (who was also an Angie's list super service award winner). Will ask them to bid on any other projects we may have.

He was great. Spent a lot of time giving us great ideas. We felt guilty because we got more than what we paid for. We even gave him a tip because he was so good.

Great experience! Chris, the CEO, responded to my message sent within Angie's List by phone call next day. Very courteous & professional. Set up appt within 3 days. Recommended every 2 wk maintenance & gave me estimate for each visit plus estimate for larger project in late summer by the following week. Well I am super pleased with price! I was paying $20-30 more per visit for a lot less with the last yard service I used (for only mowing, edging & weeding - all the rest was extra, plus I was responsible for yard waste!). Chris's staff are courteous, unobtrusive & quiet while doing a great job - the price per visit includes mowing, weeding, edging, fertilizing, trimming, pruning, AND removing yard waste. I also know I will not have projects started without my OK (such as needlessly tearing up & replacing a whole section of lawn - which happened with my last contractor). Besides yard maintenance, I will use Father Nature Landscaping for some future projects, as well as a planned late summer cleanup of the "wild back 40." Thanks Angie!!

Contractor not able to help me until Late August which doesn't work for me.

The job looks awesome. I was not pleased with placement of a couple Rhodies, but they were prompt to come out and put it right. Introduced me to some exciting new rhodies I had never seen before and I grew up on this area. I will definitely use again. Cameron and crew are the bomb!!!!

This was an Angie's Big Deal purchase for 9 hours of landscape work for $299. They where kind enough to extend the time to use the coupon beyond the original one year time window. I wanted to use the coupon towards payment on installing a sprinkler system in the front yard. They were fine with using the coupon towards the sprinkler instal. After I got the quote for the work I wanted done and compared the quote to other service providers, I decided they were way too expensive and I did not use their service. I can't recommend them or not because I never had the work done, but they are expensive compared to others doing the same work.

They do not service Mercer Island. They didn't respond to me, either. I had to call them after they didn't email me like they were supposed to. They called me back to tell me they don't service my area.

It turned out okay. I got an estimate but it was pretty expensive so I did not pursue it at this time. He was very punctual and courteous and seems to know his business very well. The estimate was about $20,000 and I thought I’d better get a couple of other estimates before I go with him.

Went well. The quote came up to be more than what I wanted to spend. But they were extremely professional and I would use them in the future.

They were pleasant. They answered all my questions and had some suggestions that we can work with.

The person came to the site and did an evaluation. I was a little disappointed because he provided me with a quote that wasn’t itemized so I couldn’t do very much with it. I didn’t know what his $6,000 quote included. I called him and he said he could provide me with additional details, but he’d have to come back out and charge me again. He was professional and he was probably just doing his job, but in that case the Big Deal coupon should be more specific so you know what to expect. I feel like I wasted my time since I didn’t get what I expected.

I haven't heard from them. I'm not happy about this experience. I'm used to this type of treatment when purchasing deals ahead of time.

As I mentioned above, I was impressed by his knowledge and expertise. He truly saw my yard with new eyes. I am looking forward to working with him to complete the job, and will recommend him to anyone who could use some landscaping help.
