Black Sheep Electric

I left a message to inquire about the job I needed done. The owner called me back within a few hours. I explained what I needed. I had purchased a portable hot tub but needed a gfci outlet on my deck to plug it into. We talked and he asked questions about the hottub and looked up answers in the owners manual. On the day of the job John & Kameron came out on the time agreed on and did the work in about 2 1/2 hours. The work all look great but the outlet they installed will not work with my hot tub. The plug will not fit. It is not like they could not have made sure the plug worked as it was laying on the ground next to where they installed the plug. I am hopeful that this was just an oversight and Black Sheep can come back out to resolve this issue. After all the whole reason I had this done in the first place was to plug in my hot tub. If it were not for the fact that I cannot use the $500 outlet I would be giving them gold stars across the board. It hard to find an electrical contractor you can trust to do jobs around the house and I was hoping that these would be my go to guys. Time will tell....please call me back so I can use my hot tub.

He did a wonderfull job in a timely manner. He was freindly and ansered all my questions so I could understand.

Everything went very smoothly and professionally. They were on-time, fast, proficient. I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a new ceiling fan, upgraded it to one that has a heater in it. Best thing I've ever done as there is no heat source in the bathroom. They also installed a second ceiling fan in the powder room, and laid wiring for a future bathroom remodel for heated floors and a jetted tub. The ceiling fans are amazing and whisper quiet. They did a beautiful job and they left everything neat and clean. I plan to have them back for another round of projects.

Sometimes when you are a woman trying to obtain services from contractors, they (usually men) treat you as if you are secondary and clueless. Not Black Sheep. They consulted with me on each step of the plan and treated me like a conscious person with a brain. The quote was roughly one third the cost of another estimate. John and Tony worked consistently and politely, cleaned up their spaces and walked through the results with me. It was a pleasant and painless experience and I would definitely use Black Sheep Electrical again.

Ryan the owner, was fantastic- from his professionalism to his puntuality to his knowlegde. He is good at troubleshooting. I experienced a problem after he left, not due to anything he did or didn't do, but related to, and he said he will stop by when he is in the area and troubleshoot for me. It is rare these days to find a service company that arrives on time, is personable and can do their job effieciently. Plus his website is a hoot!

It went great. Their estimator was excellent and the crew was professional. I am happy with their workmanship.

Bought a deal through AL wanting the folks at Black Sheep to wire up a sauna we have next to my house. I saved some labor time by digging up the trench myself and the good gents at Black Sheep did the rest. They did a very good and clean job and the lights come in the sauna without fail. They interacted with my wife mostly and she said they were extremely polite and courteous. They patiently and happily answered all my wife's basic electrical questions un-related to the sauna in the remaining time purchased. We recommend them without hesitation.

they did a good job of installing an outdoor plug-in. although I felt it was pricey for the time spent A year ago or so I had an electrician who came from Angies list, to fix our doorbell. He said that the doorbell could not be fixed but recommended installing a battery ofperated doorbell. It was fine during the time it worked, however we still do not have a doorbell, I was quite disappointed in Black Sheep ELectric, they could not solve the problem..If you have someone who can please call me.

He was difficult for the landscapers to work with. He came out and said that everything had to be dug up because of electrical wiring underground. Everything went on and on and I let him know I needed a bid. He said he can do it for $400.00 or $500.00 so I asked when we can get it started and he just wouldn’t provide a date. He sent someone temporary out, who put wire over the landscaping and he was out later that night and I don’t think he realized what he was doing because of the crooked placement we found later. The owner would not just work with the landscapers on scheduling. I called around the holidays and he said his whole crew was out and I had to go another whole week with the trench in my yard and he did not communicate that with me. I was disappointed and he turned around and sent me a bill for $700 and I sent him a check for the agreed upon quote.

Did it in less than 2 hours. Pleased with his work.

All three electricians were fantastic and I found their prices to be reasonable. The pricing included the parts. The owner came out and the initial work only took an hour so he made a note to credit an hour of service. They later completed four hours of additional electrical work. Clean-up was also very good with them.

They were pretty quick and it was good. They only ended up doing an hour and I felt I would call them to see if I can get pay for two hours and now we had an hours worth of work, I don't know how much it will take themselves, I haven't called them back yet and also to check one hour in the future if I needed. He was prompt, quick, and friendly. I would use them in the future.

Two electricians arrived on time and were very personable and professional. They got right to work and continued working for 4 hours without much of a break. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. My only disappointment is I asked for an estimate for some additional work to be done and I have never had any follow up.

Purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for 8 hours of electrician services. Two electricians showed up a few minutes before scheduled appointment and proceeded to work on the installation of the fan boxes sometimes working together to fish wires, etc. Was very pleased with their professionalism, knowledge and willingness to discuss the best solutions for each individual room. The areas were completely cleaned and they completed all the requested work within the time frame with no additional charges. We had indicated that my husband would purchase all the needed materials and have them on hand to complete the work. One of the ceiling fan box brackets turned out to have a piece missing and the electrician used a kit he had in his truck and took the one with the missing part that we had purchased and offered to return it to Home Depot to replace the one he had used from his own supply. Was very impressed with the whole experience. Will definitely be calling Black Sheep Electric again for our electrical needs.

The service was fine and they did what they promised. They were easy to schedule with and they were flexible with time. They knew what they were doing, they were experienced, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The service went well. I hired the company to resolve some wiring issues in the kitchen. Three electricians came out and completed the job in about 30 minutes. I was happy they were able to diagnose the problem and quickly fix it. They were great at cleaning up after the job. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

The service went great. I had them do small electrical projects around the house. I paid an additional fee to have them brace a fan for me. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about 3 hours and 45 minutes. They were quite efficient and were great at cleaning up after themselves. They were very clear about what they could and could not do. They were very polite. The company was very responsive and easy to schedule for the service. I have even recommend them to a friend as well.

Black Sheep conducted an initial review and then came back and tested every outlet and electrical switch. Found problem. First time in many years, that electrical system works. Did excellent work at a fair rate.

The technician showed up on time and walked me through the issues I was currently having. He was well prepared to take on any type of job I could've offer! After he was done with the two projects I called him out for, he called me back and said he had a little time and would like to troubleshoot an issue I was having with a non-working light. That way, I could get the parts I needed or have my maintenance guy fix it. HOWEVER, shortly after the phone call, I received a text picture of a working light! AWESOME! These guys really know what they are doing! If I need another electrician, I will be calling on them and will recommend Black Sheep to anybody else.

The electrician that came out spent the 2 hours we had purchased to trouble shoot and determine what the problem was but needed to come back to do the work to fix the problem. The problem has been getting the owner to give us a bid and to schedule the follow up work. I would like to have the same person come back. When we finally got a quote after pestering him for about two weeks it was not really complete. I emailed him back with a question and have never received an email or call back. It's been about a month. I'm disappointed because the guy who came out originally seemed to know what needed to be done. After spending the initial 149. I hate to start over with someone else, especially as the electrician who came here was professional and knowledgable, but to date we have not heard back from the owner of this company. I don't get it.

The service technician was great but the back office staff were not responsive. It is someone different who answers (or you leave a message for) and returns calls and/or emails. The initial responsiveness to schedule an appointment was poor.

It went well. I had two motion light detectors installed. They did a great job.
