Black Sheep Electric

I messaged on Angie's list the day after Christmas, thinking I would get no response. I heard back within an hour. They had availability within a few days. I already had the items from Seattle Lighting, so had them ready near where they were to be installed. My wiring was ready, so can't comment on wiring. Joe & Ryan (?) his apprentice, were very professional. They put up with my indecision about what length I wanted for the pendants, and how high to hang the dining room fixture. They were very helpful, hung both lengths so I could look from all angles, which really helped choose. Joe even told me about choosing different bulbs so the pendants and dining fixtures would match better aesthetically. I felt I got my money's worth from them today.

Our first project was to relocate a wall heater and we asked to lower the outlet wire on that same wall, as well because we are installing a french door on that side and before we can do that these things needed to be done. They did a great job. My husband is a handy man so we didn't have them patch up our hole since he can do that no problem. They were kind, explained things and cleaned up the mess. This turned out to be a bit more $ than the bid, but that is because my husband forgot we had a gfi outlet already on that wall behind a cabinet (which will be moved) and so he had them install another gfi outlet (which they explained to my husband would be best since we had asked for a gfi outlet to be installed on that same wall but outside) So even though it was an unnecessary extra cost-this wasn't their error it was my hubby's :) That project was about $550, which we felt was a good deal-given they did three things: installed a gfi outlet lowered a outlet wire in the crawl space relocated a heater The second project was relocating another heater in another room and relocating an outlet. That cost was only $280. That was Very reasonable in our eyes. We want them to come back to do the other three projects as soon as we can begin them. Ah, the joys of remodeling!

Servuce was excellent. Arrived on time. Polite amd professional. Very thorough. Made sure everything wprkes properly.

Couple of hurdles early. Traffic was a mess (this was the Wednesday after the big wind storm in November and trees were down and traffic lights out all over the region) so they were late, and then one of the two workers went home sick almost immediately. Nonetheless, the remaining electrician, Tony, worked steadily at it all morning, and the owner Ryan quickly dispatched first one and then another guy to the house. It took them the three of them until well after to dark, but the work got done and done well. Throughout the day, Tony kept me informed as to what was going on, presented options for solutions to problems with the job as they came up and did not let the challenges of the day, including the weather, get him down. In short, a real professional. We will definitely use Black Sheep Electric again.

John came to fix a switch in my electrical box that had been wet causing the circuit breaker to keep tripping each time I tried to reset it. He was thorough and explained what he was doing. He went over and beyond the call by going on the roof to check on the electrical conduit. Because of the recent wind and rain, he applied silicone sealant around cut of boot to prevent the possibility of rain water entering through the wall of the house and into the circuit breaker. It's hard to find an electrician that you trust but I will say John was professional, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. He tops my list of electricians I've worked with. Thank you John, Toni, and Ryan! I will definitely use Black Sheep Electric for future electrical work.

John was out and fixed a number of spotlights that were never mounted properly when we bought the house. He also moved some switches around for us to new locations and helped with a few other small issues. Took a full 8 hours but John worked hard the whole time. Not really a bad thing, but it did take a few days to actually get a hold of the person who could give me some rates and schedule the work. Not much of an issue since my work wasn't time sensitive, but it did take some phone tag.

. Overall they did a nice professional job, more so than a different company that installed my updated electrical panel. My biggest critic was the estimate. The cost almost doubled because initially they were going to come out of my attic on the outside of the house and go down towards the panel. However, when the guys showed up to do the work, they told me that the original estimate wouldn't work because they would have had to go through my gutters. I told them that wouldn't work & they ended up being able to take a different route that took them longer. Although frustrated at the overun, they did a great job that looked great.

He did a great job and he was done within an hour.

These guys were great, the best part of my remodel project. They showed up on time, were very informative on what they were doing and making suggestions for overall improvement without trying to sell me a bunch of BS. They came in and got the job done in a very timely and professional manor. I will definitely use these guys again.

It was fine. It was pretty simple and straightforward. They showed up and everything was fine.

Dillon came out and was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Explained how to change light bulb with special tool that came with fixture. Really liked him and the reasonable prices.

Requested estimate and work to be done same day. Installers were efficient and kind in assessing our needs and feasibility of mounting two TV's and hooking up audio equipment in our rental home. In-house speaker system was not able to be set up so I will conduct a follow up call with the owner for another visit.

Called Black Sheep Electric and got their voicemail. I left a message and within one hour, I got a call back. I described the issue we were having. It sounded very simple to fix. I was using a power tool in the garage and the outlet that it was plugged into quit giving electric power. We also lost power to two outlets inside the house. Immediately I thought I tripped the circuit breaker. Tried flipping that and nothing. John from Black Sheep Electric came out that very same day. Of course, we thought it would be an easy fix. Turned out that it was far more difficult then expected. He was able to fix the issue and was determined to find the problem before leaving. He actually had to climb up into our attic looking for the connector box, which he found. The grounding wire had come loose from its connection. Once the problem was found, it was an easy fix.

They were wonderful! I bought a Big Deal and used it as a coupon, basically, toward a larger job. They finished a huge amount of work in just 1 day, for an excellent price -- especially given all the work they did. Very pleased, and will definitely hire them again.

2 gentlemen from Black Sheep showed up. Very professional and very fast. Came up with several alternatives to a problem.

Overall, I'm very happy with the work. Brandon, Dylan, and Tony were professional and a pleasure to work with. they were on time, cleaned up every day during the work. They finished quicker than expected, two consecutive 10-hour days instead of 3 days. Dylan set clear expectation on where they'd need to open up walls. the drywall holes were cut cleanly and they saved the patches which makes repair cheaper than without. I'll use them again for future electrical needs and highly recommend them.

Joe is the one who did the work. He even chiseled out some of the siding to get the protective cover on...very nicely, I might add. Everything was perfect!

Dylan and Tony were wonderful. They made a good team and were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Dylan and Tony are an asset to the company and is the reason I would choose to do business with this company in the future.

We called for an appointment and was scheduled for the next day. The electrician, Kameron, arrived a little before the appointment and replaced the switches in a quick professional manner. Then, because he was so fast, he also replaced an old wall plug that hadn't worked for a number of years. Our experience with this company was very positive and we'll definitely use them for future electrical work.

Installation of ceiling fan, exhaust fan, new outlets, switches etc. Very professional, a pleasure to work with.
