All aspects of the work were excellent. They arrived right on time, they were completely prepared to do the installations. They cleaned everything up perfectly. They even finished early. Would definitely hire again.

After cancelling on us the day of our scheduled install, the job is now done--2 days later. Dylan, the electrician who came to our house, did an excellent job and was easy to work with. Our fan is up and running just in time for the warm weather. Glad to have it done. We were not happy that our job was canceled at the very last minute initially, but we also understand that things happen. If it weren't for the initial cancellation and inconvenience, we would be giving Black Sheep an A.

They were very professional, did great work, and communicated well while onsite. It took a while to get on their schedule, but I had no issues once they started.

The crew was very friendly and worked efficiently. The job was done sooner than expected and the cost was as estimated. It is great knowing we have electricians to call on if needed. Everything, from initial consultation to installation was completed within six days. The team was courteous, friendly, responsive and worked very well together. We love our new insert and wish we had made this purchase a priority years ago.

Was great, guys were super knowledgeable, took all day, accidentally unhooked some electrical from the box and came back out that night to fix the problem.

Until this most recent encounter, I would have highly recommended Black Sheep Electric (and did! Friends have hired them on my recommendation). However, this most recent job has not gone well. They were supposed to give us an easy way to hook up our generator to the power panel. It's taken multiple trips out to our house (multiple days we've had to make arrangements with our jobs to be home), multiple wrong parts ordered, and months down the road, we're still not done. Today, they were supposed to (finally) deliver the cord to connect the generator (second try, the first one was the wrong one). They were also supposed to reconfigure the panel as needed. We had an appointment. We were home. They allegedly knocked on the door, but never called to see why we weren't answering the door. Left the cord, didn't complete the promised work on the power panel. Normally, Ryan and his team are incredibly professional and responsive. The experience we've had over the last 4-6 months, though, indicates we need to go elsewhere for electrical expertise.

When I first called, Ryan was great and up front about scheduling out at least three weeks before someone could come to the house. After waiting the 3.5 weeks, John and an apprentice showed up. While the service was incredibly friendly and both problems were, ultimately, solved, I have two big pieces of advice to potential clients: 1. Be EXPLICIT about asking for an estimate up front. I was surprised to be charged for TWO people (one master electrician and one apprentice) for the entire visit, even though both men were not busy the entire time (the apprentice was just that...an apprentice, often waiting around for direction about what to do next). 2. Don't expect the tidiest of effort. My kitchen paint was scraped in multiple places (now needing re-painting) and I continue to find bits and pieces of leftover electrical wire all over the kitchen and yard. After receiving the bill at the end of the day (and being a tad stunned at the large number presented to me), I called Ryan and explained my concerns. He was responsive (albeit seemed surprised by some of my concerns) and, ultimately, negotiated a more reasonable cost to me. While the work product was fine, I urge future clients to push for clear communication about what you'll be paying for and what those estimated costs are. I also mentioned, when I first called and again on the day of service, that I'd found this company on Angie's List and I did not receive the advertised 5% discount. Just push for explicit communication with these guys.

It went very well. John was on time at 7:30 am. We discussed routing options for the wiring and pond outlet installation. A ditch needed to be dug. One option was to pay Black Sheep to do it, the other was for us to do it. We were here and available so we dug while he went to do other jobs. John installed the wiring and outlet in the afternoon. We filled in the ditch. It works. The pump is running and we are done! I appreciate their friendly attitude and keeping us informed on price and schedule.

HE LISTENED WELL, AND GAVE GREAT SUGGESTIONS TO OUR NEEDS. HE REALLY CARES ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS!! WE SCHEDULED THE APPT. HIS TEAM CAME ON TIME, DID THE WORK NEEDED, TAKING GREAT CARE AND PRECISSION OF KEEPING AREA CLEAN AND PROTECTING OUR HOME. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER AS WELL. WE ARE VERY PARTICULAR PEOPLE AND THEY ARE GIVEN AN A++ THEY WILL BE THE ONLY COMPANY I CALL IN THE FUTURE!!!

I just purchased a house that needed a lot of work done because a prior owner was a DIYer that ignored codes. Ryan, the owner was prompt for our consultation meeting, and gave me options for my concerns. John, and Matt who performed the work did a great job. Communication about what they were going to do, and how long it would take was very clear. They were good workers, and great with my kids. I won't hesitate to call them again if I need more work done.

These guys are rockstars!! They are attentive to every detail and are very professional and friendly! Tony and apprentice Aldo were the contractors this time (bravo guys). I'm a repeat customer and would not hesitate to hire them again. This was a remodel and they had to work thru a few unexpected challenges...but they did it...beautifully!! Final cost was $2,300 as estimated.

Excellent previous owner wired up this new home to us wrong the found some potential fire and electrocution hazards and made it all correct. Great guys very friendly and professional explained everything as they found it and what was needed to correct it.

It was easy to schedule the service. The technician arrived on time, was very friendly and courteous, and explained what he would. He completed the work in less time that expected and checked to see that all the new detectors were working as expected. The bill was less than the quoted price and included a 5% discount for using Angie's List. All in all, I was completely satisfied and will contact Black Sheep Electric for future electrical work. The name is easy to remember!

Ryan came and did the estimate in February. We got other estimates from services that were both also highly-rated on Angie's List, but Black Sheep's estimate was less than half of either of the other two. Provider was about a half-hour late, but he called prior to our appointment time to let us know that the job he was on was taking a bit longer than expected. He installed the new lines in a very professional manner and was very pleasant. He offered me options on where the new lines would be installed, which I think resulted in an excellent result. The estimate was right on the money. I only downgraded them to a B on price because I didn't originally think it would cost as much as it ended up, but considering how high the other estimates were, I think you'd have to take my rating with a grain of salt for being someone who hasn't had electrical work done in a very long time and may not have had reasonable expectations on today's costs.

I was impressed by their customer service. They came out the day I called for an estimate. Hired them the next day and they performed the project within a week. The electricians showed up on time and walked me through the whole project. They asked lots of questions to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted. Everything works and looks great. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a electrician.

After a recent break-in at our house, we needed to fix some of our outdoor lights to give us a little more security. Since it was around the holidays, they were pretty busy, but after I explained our situation to them and our need for some extra security around the house, they were able to accommodate us and come out the next day. I cannot thank them enough for what they did! While the work was relatively minimal, their responsiveness was outstanding! He even took the time to offer some great tips to help with security around the house and was an overall great guy. Their ability to adjust their schedule to fit us in was worth the price we paid and we also got great service to boot. I literally cannot thank them enough!

Since the appraisal report was delivered on the 29th of December, we thought we would have to wait until 4th January to start working on this issue. I was referred to Ryan of Black Sheep Electric by the listing agent. I called and Ryan and I worked out the kind of heater that was needed. After searching his suppliers, there were none in stock in the area. I ordered the heaters using my Amazon Prime for next day delivery but they arrived late on the 31st! Ryan and Joe came through. Joe offered to install the heaters on New Years day (no extra charge for the holiday!) and the house was reinspected on the 2nd. There is no way this could have happened any faster and it was all because of Ryan and Joe of Black Sheep going the extra mile to help me. Our closing date could have been impacted up to two weeks, but as it is we lost only a day or two.

This did not go well. Installed was on time and professional but we had several problems. Old fans were rectangular but this company only sells small square fans. Luckily I had purchased a large fan and she installed that in the master bath and promised she could install the small fan in the guest bath. The master bath fan was installed fine but there were two switches, one for light and one for fan and she installed both to one switch, making one inoperable. Also she put her ladder on the baseboard and took a chunk out of it, but never acknowledged it when she left. I had to hire another contractor to replace the baseboard. As for the other fan, she pushed back the insulation, screwed in the fan incorrectly, could not connect the duct since it was smaller, so left it not connected and left a big hole in the ceiling and never pulled the insulation back in, stating that was all she could do and left. I had to hire another handyman service to remove that fan, install one that I purchased, repair the drywall and pull back the insulation costing me another $1,000.
