I would not recommend them to others. There was a problem with my tank six months after they had worked on it. I would not use them again in the future.

just had them pump tanks....nothing else

This is the second time they have come out (first was to pump the septic tank). They were very friendly, quick, and informative. I thought they did a great job.

They were great. I am calling them next time. They came out and fixed something someone else did and did a much better job and a much cheaper price.

Both technicians were punctual friendly and professional. I would recomend A Wesco to any friend.

THey showed up on time, and began pumping the tank. They reccomended that I install a baffle filter, which is a good idea, and they isntalled a higher end filter to protect the drain feild. However, I discovered that they threw the old filter in the bottom of the tank instead of throwing it away, so now I have a 3 ft piece of plastic tube just hanigng out in the bottom of my septic tank. Lastly, they told me it was fine to use the disposal which I later found can be very harnful, and luckily the filter caught all the debris we ground up, so going forward I dont use the disposal. I had Alberta septic out and they pumped my tank for 200 dllars less so I would recccomend them to A Wesco.

They were very prompt and courteous. Jesse diagnosed the problem quickly and we were able to agree upon a price to replace the pump and pump the spectic tank. He gave me helpful advice for the future if we should ever have problems again. I will use them again in the future.

On the phone, they quoted a time, no price. He showed up, and seemed to be setting me up for additional charges. He would only dig for 20 minutes to uncover the lid, then $90/hr. after that. He kept repeating that. I hesitated, and considered telling him never mind, then he said it would be a $229 trip charge even if I decided not to use the service. Said it didn't matter to him as he had other jobs to go do. At this point I had signed nothing, no credit card info had been exchanged, nothing. But the tank needed cleaning, so I caved. When he dug, he was clumsy, dug very, very slowly, kept talking, drug hoses through my landscaped beds, not to mention tromped across my plants. The whole experience felt like a scam.

Our experience was like the stereotypical hard sell. Do the work today, no one needs to know. There are so many reputable companies out there -- find another one.

They had the right equipment, cameras, etc. He provided the exact diagnostic. He was professional and knowledgeable. It was great service and I paid much less for the diagnostics than another company. They were able to deal with a job that was not simple.

They were very competent. They were able to understand and diagnosed the situation quickly. They knew about the system that I had even though it is older(1930's). They did not try and sell me new septic systems. They took care of what was necessary.

When we bought our house five years ago, the inspector told us we should have the septic tank pumped every five years (it's a large system). I called several reputable companies to investigate their septic pumping charges, and A Wesco had the best price for large tanks plus discount for having tank lid risers (no digging to access the tank openings), so I made an appointment. The technician arrived at the start of the promised time slot (start of day). After opening the tank lids, he determined that the tank did not need pumped -- little foam, low sludge level, appropriate water level and smell (swampy). But the filter exiting the first tank needed to be replaced; suggested product and quoted price. We agreed and he called the office to schedule another technician to replace the filter that afternoon. He also educated us on our septic system -- annual maintenance that we should do, how to know when it needs pumping. The second technician arrived in the promised time slot, with an apprentice helper who got to do all the dirty work. :-) They had the old filter removed and the new one installed in under 30 minutes, despite a stubborn mount on the old filter. Also reviewed the annual maintenance tasks, making sure that I understood how to lift up and rinse off the filter.

We were due for septic tank service since it had been 4 or 5 years. I called A Wesco because there was a coupon in the mail. Didn't think to check the list. It was Friday morning when I called and they said they were able to come out that afternoon. And good thing. When Chad lifted the lid the tank was full to the top. He said we had a problem and after pumping it out he saw that the baffle was deteriorating and recommended that they return Monday with a backhoe and take a look at the distributor box and clean out/vacuum out. After they left I saw their dismal rating on the list and sent them an email basically telling them I was a member of Angie's List and was aware of the rating, basically to encourage good work. They came back Monday morning and replaced the baffle, cleaned out the plugged up distributor box etc. They seemed to have done a nice job, being careful with the digging and replacement of soil and grass. It's not perfect but better than I expected. Chad, Rich and another young man were a good crew and explained everything as they went along. I had the most interaction with Chad. He seems competent and has great customer service. We talked about A Wesco's ratings and he seemed to think it involved an employee who is now gone. He also said the office is trying to address these rating issues. I am very satisfied and would use them again.

For the 10 plus years that we have been living at this house, we used the same company to service and pump our system. This year, we choose Wesco in an attempt to save money. I believe the technician arrived on time on the scheduled date. He drove a truck that apparently leaked oil and asked us for cardboard to lay on the driveway. We have a 3 tank system - two for storage and the third is the pump chamber. The technician only opened and pumped the two storage tanks, never even opening the pump chamber. After he was done, he made little attempt to re-secure the lids properly - in a few cases the screws were simply laying in the screw holes. I called that evening and tried to get someone out that evening to fix this problem but they refused. It was raining heavily and I was concerned about the rain getting into the system. A time the next day was scheduled, and the technician did not come at that time. Eventually, someone came that evening. I oversaw this technician's work and made sure that the lids were secured properly. Commenting that it looked like at least the first technician put the screws back in properly for the pump chamber, the second technician stated that the first probably didn't open that tank. I made him open it and we found that it should have been pumped as there was material that had overflowed from the other tank.

I believe the drain field had to be repaired because they pulled the tree out. They left their Bobcat here for an entire weekend because it had broken down. The owner said he knew nothing about that. It leaked oil and gas all over the lawn which burned part of the lawn up. That still has not been taken care of. This has been months ago. I have gone back to them 3 times and I got tired of having to nag and complain about it. They supposedly came out and worked on the filters twice as they were not ground level and still are not. They left crap and mud all over the yard.

Scheduled an appointment to have septic tank pumped (first time since buying home). Rob arrived on time. After opening the tank lids, he told us we didn't need to pump -- even after five years, there wasn't enough sludge at bottom or scum at top to need pumping. He pointed out that the inlet pipe (from the house) is unusually steep and that we should keep an eye on it; and that we should not be using the concrete tank lids when we have the ground-level riser lids (the metal handles can rust and break off). Also recommended that we add washers to the screws securing the riser lids for more secure fit. He checked the filter at outlet of first tank and said that it did need replaced (and that we should have been checking and rinsing it each year as regular maintenance). Not being qualified to evaluate whether replacement was needed, we decided to trust him as he seemed to care that we understood how our system worked and answered our questions well. Rob called the head office and got a filter replacement scheduled (different employee) for later that day. He estimated that we wouldn't need to be pumped for two more years, but explained what to look for when we clean the filter each year so we would be able to recognize the need. The filter-replacer arrived early in the two hour time frame, worked quickly and cleanly. Overall impression of company is friendly and professional.
