R.A.'s Construction

I heard about Rick from some friends who had work done. I had just bought my house in November 2010 and I knew there were some things to do to get it finished. I called him first to finish some carpentry work in the kitchen and he did that quickly with no issues. Then the rain started. I knew I needed a sump pump in the basement, but did not get one. In December 2010, it started to rain hard and my basement started flooding. I started bailing and sweeping it out, but it was coming down too fast to stay dry. I called Rick in the evening and he came over the next day to put the sump pump in. I have not had to bail since. A month or so later he put in a washer & dryer in the basement. He needed to drill a hole in the wall to install the dryer. He finished the project in 1 day and cleaned up the mess. My garage was wired, but did not have any switches to turn on the lights. Rick bought the right equipment and installed the light switches. He and I are talking about a plan to eliminate the water in my basement altogether. He brought over equipment to measure and is working on a plan to re-route the water and put in french drains. Rick is very concerned about the environment and made suggestions to me about this project that are eco-logicallly sound.
