I called this company because a friend of mine had recently moved and had a good experience with them. A couple reviews on Yahoo looked fine, so I called them up. I wish I would have joined Angie's List BEFOREHAND! Here is the litany of things this company did to make me write my VERY FIRST negative review: 1. They were late. Only by about 45 minutes. No big deal, but this was only the beginning. 2. The lead mover, nice guy, but was sharing way too many details about his workers. he was late because his main guy got in a bar fight. 3. His helper wasn't feeling well so had to go home. This was fine, I understand things happen. However, this stretched what was originally an estimate for 6 hours into 11 hours. That's right. It took him a while to find another helper - you see one guy's wife is on meth and hit him, then HE ended up in jail....ok again, I don't need that extra information. 4. They broke a lamp. No big deal, I didn't care! but then, they cut the wiring on a hallway lamp to get a piece of furniture out, when they could have simply uncoiled it. Also, they left many scuffs on the walls, and broke another light, that was part of a piece of furniture. 5. Our townhome was staged, and not that big, I don't see how they needed to charge us an additional $300 - we didn't have that much stuff. plus, making me wait around for almost 12 hours total. While I still gave the workers a big tip, because they did work hard, I tried to call the company to express my concerns. Called twice, spoke to both the managers. Each one said they would check with the mover and call me back the next day. Neither did. I could have chocked it all up to a bad day for the workers, but on top of that, really poor customer service? Sorry, that's where I draw the line. Do not work with this company.

I had an appointment with these guys, but they kept moving the appointment time back. They moved the date back to the next day and showed up an hour late. While I was waiting, I spoke with a friend of my wife who told us not to use them into my home since they did not have a good experience with them. When they arrived at my house, I canceled the appointment. They sat in my driveway for a while, then peeled out eventually. That night, someone broke the window on my car and stole items out of it. The amount of things removed from the car were equal to the cost of the job. While I cannot prove that they did this, I assume that they came to my house that night and broke into my car.
Description of Work: I was going to use them to move a piano of mine.
