The whole move went smoothly

We enlisted the help of Jakub and his team after checking with several movers from Angie's list. We went with Jakub's team over the others for several reasons. The quote was incredibly reasonable for one thing, but he was also able to guarantee the quote, as well as the move date within a few days of our first contact with him. He came to our home to look everything over and find out exactly what we needed. He proceeded to explain how they would handle the move and answered all of our questions. Then came the move day and everything worked out just as he had planned it. His team knew exactly what they were doing. They wrapped the furniture for protection and were very careful not to damage anything. I have a curio cabinet that is particularly difficult to move. It has heavy glass shelving that needed to be removed for transport. Due to the design of the piece, returning to shelving to the cabinet is literally like working a puzzle. I have to say that it was handled with a Zen like patience. The move was completed without any damage and the guys are wonderful. They are very accommodating as well as being warm, friendly, and comfortable to be around. We highly recommend Super Friends Moving for your moving needs.

From the start to finish they were professionals. Jakub came to the house did onsite estimate. We're moving from Oregon to Northwest(Peninsula)WA but very affordable. picked up items on 10/31 and delivered on 11/1. Definitely recommend them!

It was a good experience from start to finish. Their estimate was thorough and clear, and once I decided to go with them they did a good job of describing what I needed to do and when. I had them do some packing as well as moving, and they were efficient and careful with everything. The day of the move was very smooth-the crew was prepared and quick, and asked the right questions to make sure things happened the way I wanted. All of my belongings made it into the new house quickly, nothing was broken, and I couldn't be happier. Best of all, the final price was very close to the estimate, and it was the least expensive move I've had.

I can't say enough positive things about Superfriends moving. I submitted the online form and Jakub sent out Craig to give an in person estimate. We were moving from a 4200 sq ft house to a 3500 sq ft house after living there for 7 years and accumulating a lot! Craig was wonderful and patient as I told him the things that we would be selling prior to the move. He kept that in mind as he formulated the estimate. A few days later I received the estimate with a range that the move could be. It was higher than we planned, but Jakub was helpful in framing why our move would take a lot of manpower and resources. At first I was going to cut the move resources in half (from two 24 ft trucks and 4 men to 1 truck and 2 men). I am SO GLAD I DIDNT! The move ended up taking 11 hours with all the resources that they had to offer in the estimate. The team was awesome: Scott was the team lead--organized, thoughtful and patient. He and the the team walked through the house and developed the strategy. Each team member had a role and by following their roles, they maximized efficiency. Scott had each truck packed tight and we transitioned between the homes once. Then there was Gabe-- he is the master at disassembly and reassembly of furniture. It amazed me how quickly he could accomplish it--even without a manual. The other two on the team were Ian and Jericho. Those two pushed through the day going up and down all of stairs hundreds of times without complaint. They moved everything with great care and even took boxes as I was finishing taping them up. When we arrived at the new house, everyone went into motion using my color coded box system. They read my "key" on the poster and used that to place everything in the appropriate rooms. They placed furniture where I wanted it and if I changed my mind (which I did several times), they made the change to make sure I was happy. The two greatest things were help with boxes from the garage and additional furniture assembly. Scott could see that I was chomping at the bit to get my kitchen boxes opened and emptied. Unfortunately, my husband and I brought those over earlier in the week and they were in the garage. Scott asked Ian and Jericho to help me by getting all the boxes with the yellow and purple tags into the kitchen and dining room. within 20 minutes there were all where I needed them. The second greatest thing was Gabe's additional assistance assembling brand new furniture. Gabe was willing to work on brand new furniture pieces that I bought that were in boxes. Hundreds of pieces were in there and he wasn't intimidated. I gladly paid for the extra service because I knew it would be done right after seeing the other work he did. He even came back on his day off to do the rest. that is ABOVE AND BEYOND in my book. So after a long, long, day everyone was still pleasant and kind. We were so grateful for all that they did for us to help us settle into our new home. Although our move was expensive, I can admit that I am a pack rat and have accumulated too much. With the square footage that we had, we accumulated too much---thus, our move required a lot of extra handling. Yours may not cost that much, but the kind of care that you receive will be just as great!! they were OUTSTANDING.

This is, verbatim, from the email message I received from Super Friends Moving after taking roughly 25 minutes to complete their online form to list the household goods I needed to move: "Great! We got your information. Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to fill out our estimate form. One of our very experienced move managers will be reviewing your information and will be preparing an estimate for you shortly. Each estimate is created with your specific logistics in mind so please be patient as we prepare your formal estimate. You should recieve your quote in several hours if not within the hour!" I never received an estimate - not in an hour, a week or ever. I sent a follow-up email to ask for an ETA on receiving an estimate. No response. I realize that not all companies get back to customers. However, companies that make a customer promise like the one above are going to get flagged when they don't follow through.

I've moved many times in my life, and have dealt with a lot of movers. These guys were awesome. I received their quote (hourly rate) and scheduled the move using their online form, which was very easy. When I wrote to confirm the move I asked a few questions and Jakub replied promptly. The day before the move, I received an email asking if they could push back the start time by an hour, as they were booked solid in Portland and needed to bring a team down from Seattle. That worked fine for me, since we weren't done packing yet and an hour's difference was no big deal. The team called before they arrived, and arrived when they said they would, with an extra guy at no additional charge to make up for the change in schedule. Bonus! Preston and his team were polite, professional, and they really hustled. They emptied our 4 bedroom townhouse in 3 hours, grabbed a quick lunch and had us fully loaded into our new 2-story house a few hours later. This included dismantling and reassembling beds, moving 2 refrigerators (which had to have the doors removed and replaced), and taking a door off the hinges at our old place to remove a particularly bulky desk. Nothing was lost, broken, scratched or dinged. And they were all still cheerful at the end of the day. A very affordable and smooth experience.

We purchased a handsome entertainment unit to use in our new condo and needed someone to safely move it here. Angie's List provided names and reviews which led me to choose Super Friends, who have gotten rave reviews. I filled out the estimate request form online late one night and the next morning had a response indicating that they could provide service the date I wanted (2 days away) and gave me the estimated cost. No waiting, no visit. I couldn't be at the house when the movers picked up the EC, but the sellers reported by phone that they were ontime, polite, very careful, professional, had all the right equipment and obviously knew what they were doing. That was a relief to the sellers, as they had not known what to expect from a fairly small firm hired by someone else (me). We got the same good service at the condo when they arrived. The young men were friendly, understanding of our concerns (ex: new hardwood floors), blanketed the floors, moved another piece of furniture out of the way to make sure it didn't get damaged, and as indicated earlier, carefully moved in the EC, removed the stretch wrap, then cleaned up after themselves. I was impressed with the skill and the teamwork they displayed during the whole operation, and especially when maneuvering the large TV cabinet around a tight entrance corner and down steps to its place. They reminded us of the discount they give for cash payment and waited patiently while my husband quickly went a couple of blocks to an ATM. We feel that the cost was fair,especially with the cash discount, for the very professional service they provided. We can definitely recommend this company

SuperFriends moved me a short distance from one house to another house. The short distance was about 50 blocks. They packed everything and then moved it the next day. It appeared that the packing went okay until we began to unpack. We were in the Air Force for 20 years and this was the worst unpacking I have ever had to do. The actual moving went smoothly and the people were courteous and hard working. However, there was some damage to some dishes and my china cabinet and from Aug 5 to Sept 30 I have not been able to get them to reimburse me for the dishes or even look at the china cabinet for repairs. I have called to talk to Jacob many, many times but he is now not returning my calls. I would not recomment this company to anyone because of the packing and lack of reimbursement for damages that I still don't know what the cost will be.

Jakub was very responsive to my email inquiry. He immediately scheduled someone to come over and give us a quote on the move. Because of their quick turnaround and amount of detail included in the quote, we hired them to do our move. On the day of the move, a crew of guys showed up: Ivan, Sam, and Bernard. They were easy-going and friendly. More importantly, they were professional and took great care in handling our furniture. The move went over smoothly. I would not hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to others.

This was a perfect experience. They were approximately $60-70.00 less than everyone else. They were professional, punctual, and very accommodating. They moved us on a Sunday, had an extra man on hand and didn't charge extra. The charge was on a hourly basis, and they worked non-stop and finished in a timely manner. I would use them again, and plan to. This is my first experience using someone from Angie's List and if all referrals are this good, I will be back for all my service needs. I called and emailed and they were prompt in responding to my inquiry. I filled out their request for a quote online and they were pretty accurate in their quote. 3 guys showed up on time and seemed to stay pretty focused throughout their work time. I had one minor issue with slight damage to a piece of furniture. Overall, they were solid and I'd use them again.

The movers were prompt and professional. They were also much faster than we had anticipated. So much so that we had moved much of the boxes ourselves to save time and money. As it turned out, that was unnecessary since they were done at both places in about three hours. Our target was four. There was no damage to anything. Overall, it was a much better experience than the movers we've used in the past.

This was the second time we used Super Friends in the past 4 months. They did a great job the first time and even better the second time. They provided great communications, showed up when they said they would, did the job in less time than expected. When something extra was needed, they asked us if we wanted something done and they went ahead and did it successfully and timely. We would use them again when needed, and we recommend them highly.

I contacted Jakub at SuperFriends Moving and scheduled a day and time to move my furniture from my condo to the house. He answered all of my questions via email and sent instructions on how to prepare for the move. On the day of the move, I was called and the movers let me know when they would get to the condo. They were coming from the south and thought they might have to get a bigger truck, but decided that, based on my description of the furniture, they could use the truck they were already in. The two movers were very polite and got right to work. They were able to load everything into the truck for one trip. Once we got to the house, they quickly moved everything into the house. The truck could not make it up the driveway, and I was impressed as they ran up and down the hill with the furniture. I was very happy with the professionalism of the movers. I used an Angie's list coupon and it saved me a lot of money.

I like them. The price was definitely excellent.

They don't return calls. That gets an F.

I called the company to get an estimate for moving services. The person that answered the phone was hard to understand because of static/background noise, and was very rude to me. He told me to go online and fill out their estimate form, and what dates I was looking at for the move, as soon as I said this week was preferred he hung up on me. I have never had a company talk so rudely to me and then hang up. I will NEVER again call this company, and will tell all my friends and family the stay away. If they treat people this way, how will they treat my personal property.

I could not have asked for anything better!

Everything went very smoothly. They were about 20 minutes late in meeting me at the store to pick up the appliances, but they did call ahead of time to let me know they would be late, which was appreciated. Upon arriving at my house, the assessed the access to the basement, and removed the window from the hinges to minimize damage. They then laid down pads over the window sill and ground. They were able to removed the old washer and dryer, and move the new ones in, in about an hour. They then removed the new appliances from the boxes, and brought the shipping materials to the transfer station with the old appliances.

Super Friends arrived promptly with two trucks, one for household furniture which included some antiques and considerable amount of glass. The second truck for heavy garage/garden items including air compressor, large roll away tool chest, table saw, large barbeque and patio furniture. Our movers, Howrd, Josh, and Drew were very quick and efficient. They made it a pleasant experience for us by also being personable, friendly and caring. They were also willing to move a few things that we had already brought to our new home. I would recomment this company in a hearbeat! ,

They were amazing. Two trucks arrived on time with 5 movers. All the movers were friendly, professional and courteous. They took off their shoes inside the house, moved some incredibly heavy items and made the move such a positive experience. It was our second time using them--they helped us move from a house into the apartment and storage unit 7 weeks before--and both times, they went above and beyond our expectations. Our furniture arrived in great condition and our walls survived the move without a nick. I highly recommend this company.

They were 3.5 hours late, but that wasn't totally their fault as a previous job was under-estimated by the customers. They did keep me updated on their progress on getting to my location. Once they arrived, they introduced themselves, checked out the house to see what needed to go where and got right to work. They were very pleasant and diligent. I was impressed with how well they worked together. There was an art to their technique. Good guys.
