Stop Bugging Me Pest Control

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from them for pest control.

Description of Work: The serviceman spent about 1/2 hour looking around our home and more time telling us what he was doing and what to expect. He was very very thorough. 3eThis is the second time we have had this company and they are great and the ants are gone gone gone.

Description of Work: Treated for yellow jackets nesting in the side of the house. Had to re-treat, but then problem was solved. Were friendly and efficient. Wasn't a problem for the free re-treat.

Description of Work: Checked crawl space, attic, around perimeter of home for signs of pests. Gave me a detailed report of pest activity, mice & rat activity in crawl space & attic. Set up a plan of action to remove pests and gave me tips on how to discourage these pests ( remove bird feeders close to the home), The company followed through with the plan & sucessfully removed some critters. They also repaired the access screen to the crawl space & repaired some other screen vents around the home. Very nice, courteous, technicians. Did not charge me more than original deal I purchased. Description of Work: The representative arrived promptly at the scheduled time. The service was an inspection (for insects and animals) and then spraying the exterior of my new home to prevent the intursion of unwelcome insect life. The representaive explained what he was doing (the inspection) and showed me where there was a trail of ants. He then sprayed the exeterior of the house. He also offered (for no additional cost) to spray the interior of the garage to help prevent entry of insects into the garage or from the garage into the home.

Description of Work: We had 2 kinds of carpenter ants inside the house. After trying some home remedies we decided to get porofessional help. THe technician who first came was very thorough both in his inspection and explanation of what to expect. It took several applications before we no longer saw ants in our home. They sprayed the perimiter of the interior and exterior. He was also willing to look at other possible critter issues which included rats under our house. Our home is almost 6000 sq ft, over 40 years old and is between 2 homes with very lush gardens all of which tends to encourage many forms of animal and insect life.

Description of Work: We had quite a mice problem. Technician was informative, friendly, efficient. Set traps all around and in house, came back at assigned date later and found quite a number of dead mice in basement. Have also noticed total absence of spiders and weird little bugs that used to frequent the premises since the company has started servicing us.

Description of Work: We used the Angie's list promotion for pest control. We did this after we heard a noise under the bathtub in the master bedroom that sounded like a pest of some sort. After we called they came out in about a week or ten days and surveyed the house and found evidence of rat activity in our crawlspace. They plugged two possible entry holes into our crawl space that were under a deck on a deck that is facing a greenbelt and plugged them. They also found signs of rats gnawing on the sub flooring under the bath tub in the master bathroom. They plugged the two holes under the deck, put out some traps in the crawl space and promised to return in a few weeks and patch the hole under the bathtub. They didn't return when they said they would and when I called they said their note indicated the service had already been performed. They did get someone to come out within a few days after that, but, in the meantime we started hearing some noises from the attic above the master bedroom. When they came out again two rats had been caught in the traps in the crawl space. On the same visit they plugged the hole under the bathtub and put an additional trap in the attic. When they came out a few weeks later they found one small rat had been caught in the trap in the attic. The service technician had looked over the house again and recommended that we add some additional screening to the roof soffit vents and to trim back all trees and bushes so that there would be at least a three foot separation of the landscaping from the roof. They also set out a bunch of rat bait/poison stations around the house. We agreed to their exclusion service for $79.99 a month (although the charges are coming through on my credit card at about $102 per month. Taxes?). They now come out once a month and check the traps and replenish the bait if required. Since we started on the monthly service we have had one additional rat (all together that makes four )that was caught in a trap under the house and apparently a lot of bait has been eaten. Since we started this service we have spent about $800, so far this year, for the service. We have also hired a landscape service twice to come out and prune back the landscaping away from the roof. I leave it to the other members of Angie's list to decide if this is a good value.

Description of Work: We had just moved into our new home and we got bombarded with ants (all over pet food area) and a hive of wasps above our garage. The company name caught my eye so I looked them up on Angie's List and since they had a good rating and a nice special, I called and made an appointment. Everything went like clockwork. The provider was punctual and very professional and knew a lot about household bugs. We had to leave the house for a couple of hours and put out kitties in their outside enclosure, but we've had no problems since. We liked the guy so much we went ahead and got a yearly contract. (Our son has autism and if there's one thing he can't stand it's bugs!)

Description of Work: I had a yellow jacket nest at the base of a shrub in my front yard. The exterminator came out, killed the yellow jackets in the nest and did a brief inspection of the yard to see if there were any other nests.

Description of Work: Called Stop Bugging Me for exterior spider extermination. Involving: 1) fumigating the exterior of the house to prevent spider infestation, 2) removal of existing spiders and cobwebs in exterior areas of the house.

Description of Work: Kevin from Stop Bugging Me called to say he was running late, which was considerate and appreciated. He was very professional and responded courteously and patiently to all of our questions, of which we had many. He explained the process, and what product he was using (we had a wasp problem) and how it would work. We were concerned about our cats. The wasp nest was in the attic of our garage and our cats have a "hideout" up there they use frequently. Kevin explained that the product he used would not harm the cats. He even found an additional nest (on the opposite side of the house) which we were not aware of and treated that too. We were very impressed with Kevin's professionalism and competency. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Description of Work: Inspected the perimeter, attics and crawl space of house. Removed dead rats, deodorized. Made map of crawl space and had a conversation with suggestions for securing the house from future issues.
