Very nice job in all respects. Steve did more than what we asked and the final price was actually less than his original estimate! Very high quality workmanship.

We needed two custom cabinets built for our bathroom remodel, and a friend recommended Stephan having seen his work in a high-end custom house build. I'd talked with a couple of cabinet manufacturers but one didn't do painted finishes and the other didn't seem interested in building only two cabinets. Stephan gave us an estimate up front which seemed in line with what I'd been told to expect by the cabinet designer. First, the good: The cabinets themselves are beautifully built and very nicely finished. He executed the design perfectly. No issues with the overall quality of the work delivered. The issues occurred with delivery and installation. We signed the agreement on 8/29/12, and it took a couple of additional weeks before he could come out to measure the cabinet space. On 10/10 Stephan stated it would be 7-10 days before install. I pinged him on 10/18 and was told it would now be 10/30. Due to the delay, we ended up having our painter come complete the paintwork prior to installing the upper cabinet. On the day of install, I worked from home to ensure they could have access to the house. They mounted the cabinets, but when installing the fascia trim around the cabinets, they damaged the ceiling paint in three places and scuffed it up in others. Stephan wasn't happy when I pointed this out. We came to an amicable resolution, but it resulted in us having to take additional time away from work to have the painter return to repaint the ceiling and one section of wall. If you are having his company build cabinets for a remodel and can engage them earlier in the process, the actual cabinet construction is excellent.
