I can't begin to say enough good things about this company. Not only did they paint the exterior of our home but also 5 of our neighbors. Everyone is very happy with their work. They completely power washed the exterior of our home, hand scraped it, oil primer, painted the house, trim, etc and then did a very thorough walk thru and cleanup. The foreman and his helper were so willing to offer suggestions and take care of anything I wanted done. Excellent!!! I have already recommended them to several friends. Hope this helps!

It was an absolutely horrible experience that went on for 5 months! We really liked the salesmen - he was upbeat, professional and very responsive. He also seemed very knowledgeable with his product. We were told the whole project would be turned around in 2 weeks or less. We knew they needed to order the product and it would be around 3-5 weeks before they could get started. They start tear off about 2 weeks later than originally promised - and they showed up with 2 workers and one gal supervising. They should up mid day and only worked for an hour or two. This went on off / on for 1/5 weeks with various portions of our siding removed, scaffolding up, and their debris left in our back yard and on our back deck. The workers normally arrived after we left in the morning and were gone before we got home and no one ever called us to let us know how things were going. We caled them and they said that due to the weather they couldn't do tear off. We also have a HUGE dumpster in our driveway this entire time. We then discussed how we were told the process was a 2 week turn around time - and the guy working our site said - yes, once the tear off is complete - and then we paint, clean up, etc. This was never explained to us until now. Once the siding started going up we were please with the quality of the Hardie Plank - but their workmanship was horrific. They made crooked cuts - cuts too short and they just passed it off as quality and filled in the gaps with caulk. Since we did the pre-painted that meant we did the whole color match package - the trim, flashing, shake - everything should come in its final color. Due to their poor ordering - they put up mismatched flashing and trim in multiple places and tried to pass it off to us that it was OK b/c they would paint it to match. That is NOT what we paid for. Also, their painting was just as bad. They have dropped paint spatters on the roof, our driveway, deck, and sidewalks. Our paint on our back door is already peeling in < 1 year b/c they didn't even bother to prime. Needless to say this was a difficult and disappointing experience as we had to complain REPEATEDLY to get them to correct their errors. Finally with their lack of responsiveness - I call the siding manufacturer b/c this company had been recommended on their website. The Hardie rep came out and inspected our side and identified our same concerns. In the end, it looks good, things got corrected other than all the paint splatters and peeling door. It also was frustrating that they would even tidy up the job side when they would leave each day - it would just stay a mess and they may not work for a few days and they would just leave everything sitting out in the rain.

This project started out positive as this was the only company the showed up and provided the most professional details and doccumentation of services, licenses and certifications. All of the provided information was way above anyone else. After deciding to go with this company we sent a 1/3rd despot to lock in the dates to get rolling. Now this is where things fell apart. He took the check and we signed a contract and then we could not reach him with questions, we would call and email and often his voicemail box was full and could not leave a message at all. After many attempts and waiting at one point almost 3 weeks for a response he would finally call and get the next step on the calendar, after this continued over and over at one point I was ready to pull out of the project. I finally had a one on one with the owner and he promised to return emails an phone calls within a a couple days and he did continue to respond for the rest of the project. In the end the project that was supposed to start in July just finished in mid November. The guys that install the siding did a very good job however the tear off of the old lead paint siding was a huge mess, there is still paint chips, nails all over our yard. The finish painters go way too fats and some paint completely washed off a few windows because they attempted to get it done as fast as possible and painted those last windows during a rain storm, they also did not clean up all the paint they had scraped off the window sills etc. To sum it up, I think the intentions were good but maybe not enough management to handle the projects and we ended up constantly having to keep on him to get any part of the project moving along. He did make adjustments for costs that were not really where they needed to be on insulation and gutters so he will take a look and listen to your input on these things. I assume this industry from this experience and past that it is pretty common to run construction business this way, I hear it from people all the time.

Pacific Exteriors is a service broker, so they don't do the work themselves. They arranged for a house painting crew who was superb to work with, but I can't review them directly because I didn't discover their business name, only that they're out of the Tacoma area. I liked the work of the painters, but I didn't like that they had to drive 40 miles each way, three times, to our project (I would have preferred someone closer). They also arranged for old gutters to be removed and new ones installed, and that project went well too. There was some scheduling coordination issues between gutter work and painting, so the painters had to come back later, but it was nice that it was all coordinated for me.

They did a good job, although they were a little slower than estimated.

This company was probably one of the most well organized that I have ever dealt with. Once they started on this job, they stayed with it until the end. No waiting around during the job for them to show up to complete. We hired them to re-side our home which had LP-style siding on it. The siding was cracking and needing replacement. They tore off the old siding, hauled it away, and replaced with new Hardie-plank style siding. The siding was prepainted so they painted all the soffits and trim as well. They arrived on time, stayed at the job until it was completed, and cleaned up after themselves. When I called about a couple of small areas of trim that the painters had missed they came right out and did the work to our satisfaction. Once complete, they quickly hauled off the dumpster and sanican. All in all, it was as painless as the process could have been and the exterior now looks very crisp and new. We chose this particular company because our son had used them to re-side his two-story home and they had done a very professional job there as well. Our neighbors have been complimenting us on how good our home looks and we were very, very satisfied.

Pacific Exteriors was paid a $300.00 deposit for house painting and a contract signed. After five months, and more than twenty phone calls and two letters they have not started the project and will not return phone calls (made to Jazz, the owner David, and the Lynnwood office) and will not refund the deposit (it?s not that they refuse, they just won?t return calls). We have registered a complaint on the BBB website, ServiceMagic, and next stop is the police. We got several quotes and really liked Jazz. He spent a lot of time with us, gave us thoughtful advice, and was very friendly and personable. The price was right too. Coincidently we nearly didn?t sign the contract with Pacific Exteriors because they fraudulently listed themselves as BBB accredited and when we checked the BBB website, they were not listed. The excuse provided by Jazz was that they were "affiliated" by BBB but not "accredited" so that they could pass on the savings to the customer. But because we liked Jazz so much we accepted the silly excuse and did it anyway.
