Dennis was cordial on the phone, arrived promptly for our appointment, and was professional in his approach. He provided a complete estimate for the exterior painting to be performed. The estimate was in the middle range of prices quoted, but another painting contractor was chosen based on price and previous work performed by the chosen contractor.

Dennis is the consumate professional painter. He is absolutely fabulous!The interior of our house shines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was all around a great experience. He came over a few days before to see what I wanted done, then I showed him where I had a key hidden so he could come over when I wasn't home. Saturday morning I came over (because I hadn't moved into the house yet) and he was already here working away. He did a fantastic job and didn't try to cheat me out of time or milk me for more money. I will certainly call him again if I ever need painting work.

It was an excellent experience. It was an offer price, so we got a discount on the total price. He did a very good job. He painted our pantry doors white and he did an excellent job. Normally, he would not have been able to finish it in four hours because one has to wait until it dries and then paint the next two coats. So he took out the pantry doors, did it at home, came back and put it back in its place. He did this tiny spot outside, which I pointed out to him. It was a good painting job and he was just extremely friendly. He was very reliable and it was a very good experience.

Dennis is fantastically responsive. He answers e-mails by the next day if not within hours. He came on time, was efficient and cleaned up completely. Fantastic value for what his charges. He went above and beyond repairing the water damage on a window sill I'd asked him to paint. I was really impressed. I will use him again and feel lucky that I know a great painter.

I was looking for an interior painter to do some touch up painting in our 'multi colored' house to get it ready to put on the market. I looked through the reviews of interior painters on Angie's List and saw North Beach Painting had a deal for either 4 hours of touch up painting or 8 hours of touch up painting. I called Dennis of North Beach Painting to see if he would be able to do this job in the next week or two, because of getting the house ready so quickly to sell. He was very easy to talk with and he answered all of my many questions and told me he could come out whenever I needed. So I bought the 8 hour deal on Angies List. I called Dennis back and scheduled him very conveniently for when most of the other work was completed in the house. He arrived promptly and stayed the full 8 hours and touched up all of the little dings, and even re did a whole hallway wall. I had taped children's artwork all over it and over a few years the wall looked well worn. Keep in mind that each room has a different color in our house. I had lined up many paint cans that were 7 years old and Dennis was able to use that paint for the touch ups. He brought all of the supplies except for the paint. When Dennis was finished, he cleaned everything back up and left the house looking spotless and like the whole house had been repainted. I was very happy with Dennis's work. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do painting. He answered all of my questions before, during, and after his work. He was very professional and courteous.

We bought 2 of the Angie's Deals for 4-hours of painting to have Dennis come in for the day to work on a few outstanding projects in our home. From my very first phone call prior to purchasing the deal to the completion of our highest priority tasks, Dennis was very polite, responsive and professional. He came in the day after our kitchen remodel was completed and went right to work on getting the kitchen prepped and primed for painting and caulking. He completed the kitchen and was able to also paint around our skylights, finish a vaulted accent wall, and two accent walls in the to-be nursery. I think we gained great value from hiring Dennis for the day, and am pleased with the quality of his work. There was a bit of touch-up I did here and there in the kitchen afterwards, but those spots were mostly left from the contractors working on the kitchen remodel and normal wear and tear. We will definitely consider having him back to take care of any more painting needs we might have.

Contacted North Beach Painting for interior painting of our condo. Dennis responded promptly and we set up an appointment. He is very professional and informative. We are so very pleased with his work.

I purchased an Angie's Deal and was contacted the same day by Dennis of North Beach Paint. We soon arranged a date that would work for both of and Dennis was very accommodating. We had a pre-arrival discussion so we knew what we needed to have on hand and prepped to make the best use of his time. He arrived on time on the scheduled date and I explained what we wanted, Dennis asked a few questions, and then went to work. Dennis was meticulous and went above and beyond, caulking a room that had some gaps in the baseboard and sanding a few drips from previous painters. We inspected each area with Dennis and he touched up a couple areas not covered fully with the first and only coat. (our choice because of time constraints) When he was done, he vacuumed each room and then cleaned up the sink and bathroom area better than when he arrived. Dennis was thorough, highly qualified and nice. I would recommend him to anyone that needs painting done. Dennis also followed up twice to make sure we were pleased and that the single coat covered well. (it did)

Dennis Pauley did an excellent job painting the whole interior of our house. Everything was done with the highest care and expertise. And having one person do all the work rather than having a large crew come in really made a difference in both quality and dependability. His attention to detail was amazing. Our house is 100 years old and has a ton of trim work. Dennis is the guy for details, his trim painting is wonderful. There are no drip marks and the lines are straight even where the walls aren't in this old house. He triple checked all of his work and left everything perfect including all finish work including returning all furniture, window treatments and fixtures. The prep work was a big job including some rather big repairs in walls and some elaborate priming of things such as kitchen cabinets. He made sure to take all of the correct and tedious steps to ensure the end result was beautiful and long lasting. ?Not only was his work top quality but it was great to have someone whom you trust around the house. ?Dennis worked at our house for six weeks while I, a pregnant stay at home mom and my toddler were there most of the time. His work never interrupted our daily routine and in fact was fun for my daughter. He didn't mind her "helping" or chatting with him. He made sure to clean up at the end of every day and worked in one area at a time leaving the rest of the house available for us. Not only was he very conscientious of our daily schedule, he also put our safety first. There was very little dust, paint or chemical odor. ?Most of the products he used were low or non VOC, but in the rare needed case he let us know in advance if a product or procedure was at all hazardous. Really Dennis worked around us! ?Dennis is also very kind, he was helpful and patient with my changing paint choices. ?He didn't even mind when I requested?a specific paint color and brand from a store other than his usual supplier. Dennis does top rate, high quality work, is flexible, friendly, dependable and trustworthy. I will hire him in the future for all painting and will highly recommend him to all of my friends and family.

The exterior of our house was in bad shape and hadn't seen paint in a long time. The eaves of the house were in particularly bad shape with peeling paint and there were areas of existing exterior walls next to areas of new exterior walls and windows because we had done a little addition and installed new windows throughout. Dennis prepped all surfaces thoroughly -- cleaning, scraping old peeling paint away, patching, sanding and priming -- and then painted a two-tone color scheme (walls one color, windows and trim another color). Each day he cleaned up after himself before leaving and tidied up the area. We were very pleased with the results and will call Dennis when our house needs another exterior paint job. The interior jobs he has done for us have been smaller jobs but we have been equally pleased with his work. Again, his attention to prep is great. For the interior jobs I really appreciate his tidiness and clean-up at the end of each day since we have always been living in the house when he has done these jobs for us.

He contacted us ahead of time to confirm paint types and colors and estimate the job. He offered to get trial paints and try them on the walls but we opted out of this. He gave a start date and the job started on that date. He offered to move furniture but we chose to move it ourselves and have it ready for him when he arrived to save time. He painted the rooms, stairway, trim. He cleaned up and put away tools at the end of each day. The quality and professionalism of the painting was excellent. - flawless. The job was about a day longer than orignianlly thought but it was done well and was well forth it.

Dennis Pauley is a really good painter. The interior of our house shines again.
