Response from NORDIC SERVICES INC
Nordic Services strives to provide as accurate a time schedule as possible at the onset of each restoration project. However, when performing any damage repair, there can be many delays such as hidden additional damage, engineering, county or city inspection delays, building code update requirements, homeowner material selection delays or changes, and homeowner change requests. In this particular case, we have unfortunately had all of the above listed delays; code related issues with the foundation, required engineering and subsequent redesign by homeowners, insurance company approvals of additional work, homeowner requested layout changes after work had begun, and changes in finish selections. All these delays have resulted in a longer than normal repair timeframe. Any time our customer requests a change, we provide them with a change order outlining the costs. The homeowner must then review and sign it before work can move forward. This is intended to ensure that all parties understand exactly what is to happen and what the cost will be. We strive to make it clear to our customers how time and cost will be affected by any changes. Our desire is to provide excellent service working with all of our customers. We communicate with this customer on a weekly basis to keep them appraised of the schedule and keep the job moving toward completion.
