Description of Work: Provided weed killer to weeds and blackberry bushes that were problematic |and then waited 2 weeks to remove them from the back yard where they performed the original job.

Description of Work: My back yard grass was very over grown and the smaller front grass needed the first mow of the year done. Michael came over the day I called and worked about 8 hours. He had to use the weed eater on the back(twice) and front before he could mow. He is a very nice person. When he showed me the estimate it was not totaled up and I wished I had realized he charged $60 an hour. We could have done more prep work and saved some money.

Description of Work: Michael pruned several out-of-control bushes and trees at my rental property. He is very personable and punctual. The property looked much better after his work. It was expensive, but honestly, I don't have a reference point,because I did not get another bid. In the end, his prices could be very competitive, but I just don't know. I'd call him again for sure. I know I'd get a dependable, professional job done.

Description of Work: Michael has done our annual apple pruning for four or more years. Additionally he has pruned our laurel hedge twice; he has removed two middle-sized trees, one dying, the other overgrown too near our house. He has trimmed other trees; he and a trusted assistant undertook successfully to do battle with our overgrown and out-of-control bamboo. He is always prompt, reasonable, pleasant in every way to work with. We will not consider asking anyone else to do our lawn and garden work.

Description of Work: This is the second time I have used Michael and he is not only personable, he is honest, with reasonable prices, and FAST. He pruned my apple trees that had totally been abandoned for ten years. Pruned my magnolia tree, grape vines, roses and cherry tree. He did a great job complete with clean up. Description of Work: I wanted to see if he would be able to remove a tree trunk in my backyard to make way for a new deck. He was unable to do the work but was happy to make a referral.

Description of Work: I called to ask them about stump removal but they weren't able to help. Owner was very helpful in recommending another company that would be able to help me. He responded to my call very quickly & gave me enough information that I was not irritated that he couldn't help me. It did help that the company that responded, Ballard Tree Service responded as quickly. I'd use Michael's for yard work. Kirsten

Description of Work: I am REALLY IMPRESSED with the customer service I received from the first phone call on Friday to the estimate on Saturday morning, where work began immediately, in the heavy downpour while the temp was 35 degrees...brrrr. We needed our yard cleaned up after not raking leaves since early Fall as well as pruning of several 20' English Laurel hedges. Michael, the owner, not a sub, immediately sized up the job, the time it would take to complete it and began going at it. The end result was wonderful!! I am donating my yard tools and leaf blower and ONLY USING THIS GUY!!! He truly knows his trade, he has decades of experience, he has an eye for detail and is extremely clean. Being someone who spends all day, everyday running my home, family, business and cleaning up after 3 kids and pets - the service and clean-up Michael's Landscaping provided is invaluable, and the price was very honest and more than worth it. I'm posting a report because Angie's List makes it easy to find help, and A Better Pruning/Michael's Landscaping earned my business today and for the future...I stopped by our neighbor a minute ago and they are hiring him after he pointed out a concern for a dead branch on a 100' foot tree in their yard where their children play. Great service, great price, done fast and done right. I am very , very pleased.

Description of Work: Sent an email to Michael via his website as seen on Angie's List on the afternoon of Monday, November 8 and provided a brief explanation of the work needed assistance with completing. Here it is one week later, and absolutely no phone call whatsoever to schedule a time to see the project or just a call to say not interested. So much for his overall high rating. I guess we all can't win.
