Description of Work: They were fast at replying; however, did not come out to see the work to be performed to provide a quote. Provided a rough estimate quote via information sent. The quote is much higher than others. I didn't feel they gave that "personal touch" as others have done.

Description of Work: Removed old gas water heater and installed a new one. | |Tech showed up exactly when promised and got right to work. He had everything he needed to finish the job and did so expeditiously. Checked multiple times for leaks (both gas and water) and found none. He removed the old water heater and left it exactly where I requested. I'll definitely use McLendon Home Services in the future.

Description of Work: Flat rate. Turned out to be a fairly minor repair. In fairness, I agreed to cost, but will check other places first. Guy was really nice, came back out asap when it didn'the fix the first time, but original service day was moved one day back.

Description of Work: McLendon's Hardware provides its in-house installation of plumbing supplies bought at their store. Their fees are very reasonable and the work is guaranteed. I had a bathroom sink installed and because of continuing small leakage from the drain pipe, their installer kept returning. There was never any charge for the return calls and the problem was finally fixed when the problem was figured out. I would have liked to have been given the option of what kind of sink to buy (and pay for) but when the corrosion in the sink hardware was found, the installer just went out and bought an inexpensive sink and parts. I paid for those, but would have liked a little more expensive one to start with (and been happy to pay for) The personal service was great and the installer was very friendly and tried very hard to track the problem down. It was better service at a better price than other plumbers I have used.
