It was successful.

The original gas piping was performed by someone else. But McLendon's contactor did the rest. Technical made a couple of visits to scope out the work. It was not an easy job, house was never engineered for ductwork, but he made it work. Even with McLendon subbing out the job, the price was VERY competitive. We are VERY happy with the results, and would highly recommend McLendon for HVAC work. We have also used them before for window replacement, door replacement and always, excellent service.

Needed a plumber to clean up the leak left by another company. McLendon's promptly fit me in--sent out Jesse in a fully equipped truck. Not only did he repair the leak, but also put a panel in the wall so that I didn't have to deal with repairing the drywall (in a closet). He creatively repositioned the valve to that it is now hidden behind the panel instead of sticking out into the closet. He did all of this in a cheerful and professional manner. Great price; great service; great experience. McLendon's has only one plumber at this point (who has 15 years experience) , so it's almost like his own business within a business, except that he is not paid on commission. Totally recommend McLendon's Services: :plumbing. I am including water heater here, because of connection with plumbing.

I had McLendon Home Services install a water heater for me in February. My hot water heater had broken and I called 4 or 5 different services. I picked them because their price was the lowest, but was pleasantly surprised at how fast they got the new water heater put in for me. The installer was great and very professional. I would definitely call them again for other services.

We highly recommend McLendon Home Services. We will use them for other projects as well. We had no idea they install windows, doors, decks, all kinds of home projects. Definitely the place to go.

The original windows in our house were aluminium framed and some of the glazing seals had failed. We needed new windows. So, we contacted two of the replacement window companies that advertise with mail flyers. We got 2 quotes for replacement vinyl windows. Salesmen came to our house, measured the windows, put on their sales pitch. All we wanted was a description of the windows they were selling and prices, but it felt like going to a used car sales lot (or at least the stereotype of of a used car sales lot). Then I heard about a website to buy windows from a friend. It was the site for The Home Improvement Solution. I was able to get pricing for installed windows online. The pricing was SUBSTANTIALLY lower than either of the other two quotes and the quote was for the same windows made in the same factory in Spokane. We scheduled an appointment with Andy from The Home Improvement Solution. He came to our house (on time). There was no hard sell. Andy just answered our questions and gave us some great suggestions. and we placed an order with him and because the pricing was so much less than the other places we were able to order a new front door in addition to the windows (and still spent less than either of the other quotes). The windows and door were installed about 3 weeks later. The installation was done in less than 2 days. The installers were professional and did a good job. The icing on the cake was we got a federal tax credit and a rebate from the power company. The bottom line is this: I'd use The Home Improvement Solution again and I've already referred my neighbor to the website for his replacement windows.
