You pay $50 or something for them to come out and evaluate. Between $5000 - $7000 to replace a custom front door and I have them re-veneered for under a $1000 like around $900 is what I paid for the veneer on the front door. It was much better for me to do the veneer than to replace the door.

it went very smooth. he anwsered every thing we ask. he was very help ful. he took out the old tank and put in the new one. he made sure tank would fit. he cut all the pipes that need to be . and made sure the earthquake straps were back in place. he made sure my husband quction were answerd and that he was good about the servese he did. the company got here the same day the problem happen and was very helpful. andrew was very kind to us with his helpfulness in all the time he took to explain and let my husband watch and ask so many thing, i would have them back again

Joe, the plumber, came out to replace my expansion tank on the water heater. He also repaired to faucets in the house. He did a great job, explained what he was doing, and was very thorough and professional. He cleaned up the area and ensured all the installations were working before leaving. Provider responded quickly to my online request and scheduled an appointment within two weeks (2/26) Installer was prompt and performed the task within the expected time. Workmanship appeared to be of high quality. Installer did not leave any documentation on the Water Heater other than the manual, factory decals, and the date of Installation. There were no stickers indicating McClendon Home Service did the installation or that a Permit was requested.. When I asked about the Permit, the Installer said that the office handled those things. I did not ask if he had a permit in hand, (which is required to be posted at the job site) but I became suspicious that they had not secured the proper permit beforehand. I paid the balance for extra items with a credit card at that time. Extras consisted of 1/Permit 2/Expansion Tank 3/Tax. I received a receipt for the credit card without any itemization. I subsequently notified the Provider via email that the job had been completed to my satisfaction, and I requested an itemized invoice and also let them know that they could schedule an inspection in the AM of any day next week. The next day (2/27) I received a reply from Taylor at McClendon Home Services, telling me that the Accounting Department would mail an invoice. He did not mention permit inspection. On 3/5, after not receiving an invoice or seeing an inspector, I email requested a phone contact in accounting and it was provided. I contacted Christina via email, requested an itemized invoice, and a copy of the permit for which I had paid. An invoice was provided showing a charge for the permit, and a permit was sent showing a date of application of 3/5/2015. (one week after installation, obviously in response to my query) I contacted Taylor to ask why the permit had not been previously purchased, he said it was an "oversight" I asked Taylor when the "oversight" would have been corrected, and he said when the file was finalized and closed. It is my opinion that this was not an "oversight." In any case, customers should not have to inquire to receive documentation that is essential to any transaction. It is my opinion that the Installer knew that there was no permit, and would surely have mentioned it when he turned in his paperwork. Taylor also must have knew there was no permit, as my email of 2/27 specifically asked him to schedule an appointment with the inspectors. (as other contractors have done on other projects at my home) The matter has been resolved and I have scheduled an inspection. Failure to provide documentation is a Red Flag, which at the least reveals sloppy business practices. or worse. Stickers should be left on the unit so that future owners will have a reference and contact if needed, as well as assurances that the installation was done to code. I can not recommend this vendor to other members I recommend that McClendon's Hardware conduct a through audit of this business unit..

It went great, my husband was watching the whole time. The gentleman that did the work did not mind and did a fantastic job.

My water heater went out last Friday and I called around to get a bid. The lowest I got was $1300. I found a deal on Angie's List for $849 through McLendon's Hardware. I've had good luck at their stores so I called. Cindy answered and was extremely helpful! She said that their plumbers were booked for the day but she would see what she could do. After about 30 minutes, she called back and said that she had someone that could come out today. He was a sub-contractor for them so Cindy apologetically explained that I would need to get some supplies that Thomas wouldn't have. She explained that I needed an expansion tank and earthquake straps and knew about how much I should have to pay. Thomas showed up within 2 hours and changed the tank and used the supplies I purchased. He was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with him. The next day, I received a call from Cindy asking how everything went. Very impressive! I would highly recommend them!

Joe the plumber from McLendon Home Services was awesome. This was by far the best experience we've had with a plumber. Our daughter was coming to stay with us for 10 days and I had been putting off getting a faucet fixed and a new toilet installed. I purchased an installation for both of them through McLendon Home Services and they were happy to arrange for the installation to be done at the same time and in less than a week from when I purchased the service at a time that was perfect for our schedule. Joe was right on time and upon inspection of the job stated that we had some minor issues with the tubing for the faucet. He fixed the tubing issue, installed the faucet and the toilet in about 4 to 4 1/2 hours time and only charged us for the taxes due on the on line purchase. I had been holding off because of how expensive plumbers are and for the first time I felt I got great service at a very fair price.

Went quite well.Plumber called before the job to check for parts :). And, did not have to make any parts run in the middle of the job. I was happy to replace the drain plumbing. The additional charge ($334.) was by the hour and I thought reasonable as the plumber was efficient with the time. He checked the operation of sinks, d/w and plumbing. No leaks or mess. I am happy with how the finished installations look and operate.

I was very impressed with everyone I dealt with at McClendon's. The store employee was extremely knowledgeable about toilets and knew which had the best consumer rating. I bought that one. The scheduler for the Home Service was a great example of good customer service; she was very friendly and efficient. She quickly found a day for the installation only three days away. Joe, the plumber, arrived on time and very efficiently removed the old toilet and installed the new one. He was polite and left no mess behind. An additional bonus for me: he highly recommended the model I bought - he had one in his own home. He also gave me good advice about a problem with my shower, and I was able to fix it on my own. I would definitely use this service again.

The contractor was very professional and since he had very little space to move, he did a great job with a smile. I don't know how their follow up service will be in case of problems. I am sure they will be good. Was very happy with them and will certainly recommend them to my family and friends.

Removed old aluminum slider and installed new Cascade vinyl patio door.

The service went well. They did the service for a rental home. The renters said they did a great job. The technician even found something under the sink to repair free of charge. It was difficult for me to get in touch with them to clarify something with the deal before purchasing it. Once I did purchase the deal it was very easy to reach the company and schedule the service.

I had some issues. They changed the door. They came out and fixed it. They had problems but they came through and did the things properly. There was a problem because the door was defective. They didn't do the proper job. There was spot all around it that was black and it wasn't well aligned. I talked to them and they responded. Eventually, they put a new door and they fixed the problem. The deal itself was about $1000 per door. The extra things that I bought from them was more. I didn't have a good experience because it was back and forth, back and forth. I don't think I will use them again.

The service was fine. They came out about a week after I purchased the Big Deal, but that was because my tenant had to schedule a time that worked for them. There were no extra charges to the Big Deal after they came. Everything went fine; it was smooth.

The service turned out okay. Whatever he did with the faucet, he decreased the pressure. So, I was not happy with that. I have been meaning to call them back and to have them come out. He also tried to charge us an additional fee. I had to push back on that and he had to call and confirm that there was no additional fee. It may have been for tax or something else. He had to call his office and they told him not to charge. So, he did not charge us, but he tried. I am not sure if I am going to use them again in the future.

We had a faucet that was very challenging to remove so we decided to hire McLendon's to remove the faucet and install a new one. The technician did a great job and even cleaned up and removed the trash when he was finished.

All went well, and quickly

It was Joe, who has already been lauded by other customers. He is every bit as helpful and informative as others have stated. I would also add that he knew the code for Seattle did not require a special pressure release tank ( or whatever they called it). He not only got the job done to our satisfaction, he also saved us $75!! Thank you Joe, and Mclendon Home Services!
