It went very well. John was timely in responding to our request for a bid and contacted us when he was available to do the work. He let us know when the weather would not permit him to continue with the work. He was timely and professional. I think he did a terrific job in staining our new entry. It looks great.

It was done over a 3 day period. First day, mask and set-up plus primed. Second day first coat. Third day the finishing coat. John and Grace kept the workspace clean. Being a single male, Grace could see I needed some help, so she cleaned the kitchen and did my dishes while John was painting one day. I was pleasantly surprised to come home from work to find I had a clean kitchen and dishes.

I first saw an advertisement for Lifestyle Painting in a Seattle home magazine about a year or so ago. I noticed their "free color consulting" service and jotted down their website to check them out later. About a year later, I decided it was time to paint our house and needed someone with a good eye for the right color. We have a lot of different stone work out front and I wanted a house color that would compliment the existing colors rather than introducing another color that didn't tie everything in. John Spisak, the owner, returned my call right away to schedule an appointment for a color consult and bid for painting the house as well as creating a "wood" stain color that would look good for our front, fiberglass doors. We were able to come up with a great color for both the house and doors, and John emailed me his bid almost immediately. I felt compelled to get a couple of more "apples to apples" bids from other painting contractors and found the John's price was very competitive. So, we decided to work with Lifestyles Painting. Everything from the power washing, all the prep work, the actual painting and trim work, and the front doors was done by John with the utmost of care and detail! I was amazed at how much time was spent on the prep work (caulking, sanding, etc.) before the painting was even started. And the results showed! The front doors were a custom color that John created from a small stain sample I gave him that I thought would look good! They are beautiful! John is truly an artist and takes tremendous pride in his work. His employee, Mario, was also out on the job every day, on time, and he was very skilled, meticulous and professional to work with. We are extremely happy!
