I called to ask if they work on Whirlpool dishwashers. They do. Rather than just setting up a time to come look at it, he asked about the problem. Based on the description, he said it is almost certain that the computer board has gone bad. It's an expensive part - $200 minimum. Given the age of the unit (8 years), he recommended getting a new one with new warranty, more efficient, etc. He could have charged me to come to the house and look at it (and come to the same conclusion). Instead, he gave me great free advice on the phone. Outstanding.

Told they do not repair front load washers.

Each time he came he had the parts that he needed to do the work. When he came he was very informative on how to prolong the life of your appliances. The first time that he came out, he actually came out the day before Thanksgiving to do the work on the stove. He also told me that since I was a landlord he would come out on Saturdays for me as well to help out in the future.

I called him one day--he arrived less that 24 hrs. later within the time frame he quoted. Told me the dishwasher spray arm was not really necessary, so if it fell off again, not to worry about it. He gave me ample info for purchasing a new dryer and how to prolong the life of my appliances (DON'T use the softener sheets), and lots of information on the proper care and feeding of my appliances and my laundry. I usually note the exact time of arrival of any repair person since they often over charge. I forgot to do so this time, but found there was no reason to worry. He also said I could call if I needed additional info when I shopped for the dryer. I will keep his card for future repair!!!

Help arrived the same morning as the initial call, well within the scheduled window. The repairs were tidy and went quickly. I got advice on how to prevent the problems in the future.

Told us how to use our dry and the washing machine, along with other home appliances, to get their best performance and longevity. Was very honest about the different manufacturers. Arrived early on both occasions. Could not access the dryer on the first visit, but did not charge us. Excellent.

Overall, I was very pleased. I called and made an appt. for the next day, in a 2 hour window (11-1). He arrived at approximately 11:15; very good. Tom came to do the work, and successfully diagnosed and repaired the problem within 1/2 hour. Then he gave me valuable advice and tips concerning best practices for getting the most mileage out of my appliance. Overall he gave me an hour of his time. I have a couple things I now need to do, but they are cheap and will alleviate future problems. I give price a "B" (Good) only because I'm a cheapskate and was hoping the repair would cost less. But the price seems to be in line with similar repairs. Not good or bad, it is what it is. It's expensive being a home owner ;) Also FYI All Tech is a totally mobile service, they have no "store front".

They were on time reasonably priced, and very professional.

While he was here to fix the stove, we heard a strange noise coming from the fridge. He said he knew what it was and fixed it at no charge. He gave helpful information, like telling us to replace the washing machine instead of getting repairs. He was very genuine. I liked that there was a person, not an answering machine or being on hold when I called.

We called Tom when our washing machine stopped working. He came the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and then took the time to explain the possible reasons why the problem arose and how best to prevent it from happening again. I was very impressed and will definitely call him when I next have problems with any of our appliances.

ALL TECH called me at 9:02 on Saturday morning and by 10:15, the repair guy was at the home to fix the machine! By 11:00 the washer had a new motor and I am about to start washing! Tom told me about how the washer had been overloaded for years and how to properly use the machine. The machine is about 7 or 8 years old and is good to go for another 2 or more years. The repair was done well AND quickly. And I wasn't overcharged even when they knew it was an emergency and I had panicked over getting the machine fixed NOW!! I have pinned their card to the cork-board in the kitchen just in case I need any other machine fixed!

Tom arranged a time on the same day I called. Diagnosed the problem quickly and also spotted another issue (and fixed it).

Don was extremely helpful. He not only explained that the service I need could cost $400-600;he also recommended I check my service book to see if my refrigerator compressor is still under warranty. He also gave me helpful information and advice on refrigerators in general. I am very happy that I called All Tech and will call them in future if I problems with my large appliances.

First time use of "Angie's List". Looked up appliance repair to identify repair rep for a Bosch Dishwasher. This company was one of the top 3 listed/rated (near my address). Called the company left a voicemail message at 7pm Thursday. Did not receive return phone call Friday or Saturday.

I called All TECH and explained our situation. The person I spoke with was very helpful and explained what was most likely going on. He told us how to remove a panel from the dishwasher and look underneath. He was absolutely correct and we were able to rectify the situation without have to pay money. We were very pleased.

THIS GUY (FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS, I FORGOT NAME) WAS EXACTLY ON TIME. THEN HE TOOK HIS TIME WITH ME, EXPLAINING THE NATURE OF THE PROBLEMS AND HOW TO AVOID THEM IN THE FUTURE. HE EXPLAINED A LOT ABOUT MY APPLIANCES TO ME AND WORKED THOROUGHLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THIS WAS THE BEST REPAIRMAN I'VE EVER HAD IN MY HOME - A FOUNTAINHEAD OF INFO ABOUT OUR WATER IN SEATTLE, ABOUT ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND PRACTICES IN THE HOME, ABOUT MY APPLIANCES, ABOUT SAVING MONEY IN THEIR USE, AND GETTING BETTER USE OUT OF THEM, ABOUT WHICH APPLIANCES ARE QUALITY, AND WHICH ONES HE CAN'T ENDORSE AND WHY. HE WAS POLITE TOO, AND JUST A LITTLE BIT SHY - THAT'S HOW I LIKE 'EM IN MY HOME! HE SAID, ''YOU SHOULD ONLY HAVE TO SEE ME MAYBE A FEW TIMES IN YOUR LIFE''. HE PERFORMED THOUGHTFUL WORK AND MADE NO MESSES, HE SHOWED ME THE PARTS HE REMOVED AND REPLACED - TOTAL TRANSPARENCY - NOTHING HIDDEN FROM ME OR GLOSSED OVER. PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. BILL WAS ITEMIZED AND LEGIBLE. OUTSTANDING JOB!
