Tom explained the cost of the fan was $70--expensive because GE is out of business. That being the case, the cost was excellent. He took the time to explain what the problem was, how the system worked and the differences to expect with the new motor. Very knowledgeable, very efficient.

He was ontime, service took about 1/2 hour, and fixed the problem. He is very knowledgeable and likes to inform the customer about the repairs he's making. He also takes time to show the customer a few things about their appliance. During this visit he showed me how to take the drawer below the oven out, and discussed the history of the brand. He serviced this same oven about ten years ago for another problem. That repair has survived the test of time, so I am sure this one will too.

I called up and asked the technician if they could look at my broken oven. He told me they no longer repair GENN AIR ovens because GENN AIR is out of business. But, he asked what the problem was anyway, and I told him I was getting an F9 error. He looked it up in his book and said it was probably related to the door locking mechanism. And that if I found someone to fix it, it would likely be over $500 to fix it. He suggested I might try leaving it turned off for 24 hours to reset it. Given that, I tried moving the latch back and forth and restarting the oven and it now works. He also suggested I make sure to clean my refrigerator coils or my GENN AIR refrigator wouild likely have problems. To spend 10 minutes on the phone with me, knowing that he wouldn't be able to do the work was way beyond the normal service you get these days. What a great company!

Washer restored and working perfectly for $87. Responsiveness was great--I called at about 8:30 a.m., Tom said he'd be there between 10 and 12, and arrived a few minutes after 10 on the morning after Christmas. With all the positive reviews I was amazed how quickly he could respond. I also appreciated the advice he offered. I will not hesitate to call on All Tech in the future.

I am very glad that I found such a reliable company. With rental properties this kind of service is worth of gold.

The representative was extremely professional. He was very timely. He told me what he was going to do before he did it. He gave me the estimate for the work. He completed the work in an hour. It seems to be working now. He was very professional.

Prior to setting my service appointment, Tom gave me some homework to do. I reported back the the next day and he was very thorough with explaining what the problem was..I also had a lot of questions since this was the first time I've had to call service on a major appliance. Tom showed up on time and fixed my timer quickly. He also gave me some tips on how to extend the life of my washer/dryer. I would call his company again in a minute for future repairs.

This was perfect service. After quickly solving our problem, Tom gave us wonderful tips on future care of our appliances and how to make them last longer. This is a small family owned business. We were very impressed with everything about this repair experience and can say without hesitation that we think it would be impossible for you to find a more knowledgeable, fairly priced repair service.

My refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling in both freezer and fridge. All Tech's good reputation convinced me to call them. On the phone, I was coached to turn off the fridge on the inside dial, then turn it on again. That did not produce results, so I made an appointment for service. The service man, Tom, arrived within 30 minutes of my call. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the timer, also cleaned out the dust under the fridge (I hadn't cleaned it for years) and lubricated the door seals and hinge. The job was completed swiftly and efficiently, and included instructions on leaving the fridge at its current settings for 24 hours, and not to tinker with the dial too much to give the new timer a chance to work.

My tenants reported that the dryer at my rental house turned on, but put out no heat. I called All Tech, someone answered the phone when I called and scheduled an appointment for 9 a.m. the next day. Tom was waiting at the house when I arrived. In 30 minutes, he'd cleaned out all of the lint, which is what was causing the problem, told me what other work needed to be done to avoid future problems (and how we could do it ourselves if so inclined) and, in detail, how the washer and dryer should be operated to be most efficient and extend their useful lives.

I called, he gave me potential fixes to try on my own. When those didn't work he came out and fixed the problem in about half an hour. When I called with a follow-up issue (not related to his repair) he walked me through ways I could fix it myself rather than having him come back out.

The experience was incredible. He came out within an hour on the same day. He cleaned the burners, got them working and did not charge me anything. He was professional, prompt and incredibly punctual.

During my initial phone call I was asked several questions about the washing machine's problem to determine what steps were needed. An appointment was scheduled for the following morning. Tom, the technician, arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem immediately, and made the repair in good order. He also offered several suggestions to help run both washer and drier more effectively and more cheaply. He asked if I had any questions about improving the performance of other appliances; he offered much good advice. A totally positive experience.

Tom showed up promptly at 8am. He confirmed the problem and completed repairs in under 30 minutes. He explained why and how the device failed and how to avoid similar problems in the future. The amount charged was right in line with what others on Angie's list had reported paying for similar repairs.

Excellent service. Coins had fallen into drum from pants pockets, making loud rattling noises. Fortunately, the unit did not burn out before Tom repaired it. He gave us extensive instructions on how to avoid same problem in the future. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend him to others and use him again in the future. Very reliable.

We were having problems with our refrigerator not cooling. When we first called Tom talked us through how we might fix it ourselves, which worked for a little while. When we started having problems again we made an appointment, Tom came out right on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem then and there for a very reasonable fee. He even did a quick fix on another appliance we were having a problem with, at no extra charge! He was a great guy, very knowledgeable and honest. We'd definitely call him again (though, hopefully, we won't have to for a while...)

Not only did he fix it promptly but he then spent a considerable amount of time explaining how to avoid a heavy lint build up in the future in order to operate the appliance more safely and cheaply, Then gave me a tour of how to better operate my washer and dishwasher! I now have a liberal education of large household appliance management which I never got from the Sears repairmen I used before and I have avoided a dryer fire. The whole service was exceptional and had the silver lining of keeping me from ever having a dryer fire. Exceptionally well and informative. Five stars!!!!!

My oven broke a few days before I took off for a week-long vacation. My first day back was the week of Thanksgiving, and I had a little panic about getting our oven fixed. Based on the excellent reports on AL, and the fact that he's in my neighborhood, I gave Tom a call and scheduled him to stop by on the first Monday I was back. He gave me a "9-11 a.m." range, and showed up a little after 9, which was a relief. Tom worked quickly and efficiently, diagnosed the problem and was able to replace the part immediately. He also told me a lot about the oven that came with our house (unfortunately not a lot of it was good, but he was very informative). He even gave me a few tips about our washer/dryer, and is a great resource on major appliance purchases. The price was fair, Thanksgiving was saved and I would definitely call again.

Tom was right on time for the service call. He got to work quickly, found the problem, and replaced the broken igniter. The igniter retails for $45 online; I didn't get a break down of what he charged. Total parts and labor was $158. Apparently Tom had some time to spare so we chatted for a while about the appliance service business. He gave me lots of good advice about how to keep my refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven running in good working order. It's very apparent that Tom takes pride in his work and in his knowledge of the business, and also that he values customer relationships and quality workmanship over making a quick buck. In short, Tom is an old-fashioned repair man in the best sense of the word. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for other jobs. Or he'll give you advice on which appliances to buy over the phone for free!

Tom took the time to tell me that the washer was not worth repairing, and suggested which brand and type of machine I should replace it with. He explained in detail why I should buy a different style of washer (he doesn't like front-loaders, says he has never seen a 10 year old one). I feel that he saved me a lot of money, while not charging me a thing for his valuable time. I would use him again and recommend him.

Great, he quickly diagnosed the problem in both appliances. After an over the phone estimate he recommended that the appliances be replaced. After talking me out of giving him work he recommended two brands to purchase. His honesty and council were appreciated. I would use again.

Very well. He arrived on time reviewed the work to be done gave us an estimate and completed the job in less than an hour. He also gave us some advice on how to cut our expenses while operating the machines. We already did many of the things he recommended but over all we should really save a bundle on those we did not know about.
