A1 accomplished appliance repair

They were able to set up an appointment for 2 days after I originally called. They were courteous on the phone and asked me a few details about the washer I wanted them to look at. I wasn't able to answer every question but it was enough for them to go on. The service was pretty quick. He showed up during the window he gave and took a look at the washer. After a few min he determined that the transmission was out and the fluid had leaked (and that's when I learned washer's have transmissions). He told us that a repair was possible, but it would be so expensive that buying a new washer was the way to go. Final bill was $100 which seems a little high for just taking a look and recommending a replacement, but I'd rather it go that way then be surprised by a huge repair bill I wasn't expecting. Overall I'd recommend them.

It was good. He did his work, explained what he was doing and he's a very pleasant person. They came back right away with the parts.

My experience with them went fine. Their price was good. They were on time and efficient. The quality of their work was fine.

They did a great job. They were quick and efficient. It was an insurance claim but they came out quickly and stopped the problem which helped with the immediate problem and cost. It made the process a lot easier with my insurance company. They worked with us as far as coming back to take care of it since we had other contractors on scene. They ordered the part and got it to us. It was good. They didn't get in the way at all and they helped. We would absolutely use them again.

I called on a Saturday, I received an appointment the next day. (I'm happy they were able to come out on a Sunday- my food didn't rot, and I didn't have to take time off work) Tom diagnosed the problem withing 20 minutes of arrival. Tom and his son repaired the problem on the spot ( another 20minutes or so). Modern refrigerators have a motherboard- which can, of course be expensive and time consuming to replace. The part is expensive, not designed to be easily repaired, and has a wait-list. Tom and his son soldered an in-line replacement for the failed component on the board. Saving me both time and money. So I'm happy I chose to go with A-1 Accomplished Appliance Repair.

I tried to get them to come back to fix what they tried to fix. They never responded to my calls or anything. It was a very poor service. They fixed the appliance when they came and I paid them. It worked for a month and then it went out again. I called them back about three times. They didn’t return my calls. My calls always went to a recording and I told them who I was and that the appliance wasn’t working. There was a one year warranty on it and it went past the year. So they never responded at all. They should honor their warranties and should come and fix it if it doesn’t work. I chose them because they had a high rating on Angie's List.

The tech was wonderful. He was extremely friendly, very helpful and super honest. He told me he couldn’t repair the refrigerator, it was something I needed to call Maytag for and he didn’t even end up charging me. What stood out the most was that he was very honest. It was free, which was fantastic. He was correct I needed a new refrigerator.

It went excellent. The technician was prompt, proffessional, and helpful. The work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable cost. Everything was explaiined to me in detail with plenty of suggestions on how to service other parts myself with huge savings for me.

Called in the morning and the repairman arrived in the afternoon

Perfectly. Arrived exactly on time, got to work, identified the problem, and fixed it with the caveat that the repair might not work (because it could've been the case that the icemaker was damaged beyond repair--my fault). While he was there, he called the warehouse to ensure that a replacement unit would be available, and said he would come the following day to replace it if necessary without charging me extra for the call. The icemaker began working again so that was not necessary.

Refrigerator stopped cooling. Freezer was working but not the refrigerator. Called A-1 and they came the same day. Came earlier than scheduled. Apparently what had happened is that we had left the freezer door open at some time causing ice to block the vents that send cold air from freezer to refrigerator. All that was removed and this morning (18 hours later) refrigerator is cold! Had to throw away some food, including a turkey, but it is so wonderful to have a working refrigerator for Christmas. The repairman who came is Jordan and is very knowledgeable and skilled.

Hi praise for the young man (Jordan?) who came out to look at our oven. It was the week before Thanksgiving and unfortunately the part needed was back ordered until the day after Thanksgiving. We made other plans for Thanksgiving and thought we would have a fix soon. We found out that the part that was needed was now back ordered until the end of January. Bummer! BUT the repair man did some research and was able to replace the part needed with a part from a similar oven. They went the extra mile to find a fix so I can cook for the holidays. I will use them again.

Jordan (co-owner) was very punctual and professional. Initially he diagnosed the problem as a part that needed to be replaced and only came as one large unit. He estimated that the part and labor would be $300-$350. He was very knowledgeable about dishwashers and said it would be worth the investment for the dishwasher I have, even though it's probably 25 years old, because new dishwashers are all electronic and if a problem occurs with those you're looking at a much higher repair cost. (Kind of makes me wonder if I really should remodel and get all new appliances next year.) I had resigned myself to the $300+ repair cost and asked if they could do the work by the following week. Then he said, 'let me check one more thing' and proceeded to pull a kink out of the drain hose, clamp it into place, and voila(!), the dishwasher drained! So instead of $300+ I paid him $97 and he even gave me a 2-year warranty on it! Anyone who will put a 2-year warranty on a 25-year old dishwasher is pretty amazing in my book. Another thing I'd say, is don't judge a book by its cover. Jordan looks about 19 (and is actually only 25) but he knows his stuff!

My refrigerator and freezer were not cooling on a Saturday morning. A-1 said they would be here the same afternoon. They actually arrived early for their appointment after calling to confirm that was OK. They checked several less costly parts to make sure they were working properly before determining the compressor needed to be replaced. They provided information to help me determine if it would be better to buy a new refrigerator or fix this one. They had all the parts they needed with them and were able to replace the compressor right away. Prices were fair; they were fast and professional and gave me tips to make sure I kept the unit in the best possible working condition. Their work was backed by a two year warranty. Great service. They even took time to give me some great pointers for a remodel project that is planned in the future and said I could call them to get advise before buying new applicances for the project.

Prompt service, diagnosed problem quickly. They were friendly and reliable.

The technican came out and diagnoised the problem, whicih required him to go and get the part needed. We have an old oven.He came back within the time he said and replaced the heating element and tested it to make sure it worked correctly. As well as replaced a missing knob.

I called them out because my freezer and refrigerator was not cooling at all. They claim to be the only service company in Seattle that will work on these types of refrigerators. When Tommy the son same out to take a look he told me he could charge the refrigerator but could not tell me how long it would last. It could be two months it could be 2 years. He told me the evaporator coil needed replaced and that would be approximately $1300. I had him charge the refrigerator and 5 days later everything in my freezer is now melted and the fridge is not cooling at all. I called the company this morning to ask a few questions and reached the owner. He was combative, raised his voice and continued to tell me they did not repair my refrigerator just charged it and they have no idea how long that would last. Which is fine, I was actually calling to set up a time to have them come out to repair the refrigerator. Until he was yelling at me. At the end of the conversation he told me and I quote I'm telling you I don't want your business and hung up on me. When Tommy the younger man was at my house charging the refrigerator he made several inappropriate comments to me and my friends about going to the solstice parade and taking our clothes off for the bike parade. Very unprofessional and not appreciated. I'm sure they can do great work..but if you are looking for a professional service this is not the company you want to call. Find someone else that really cares about your business, because this man does not. For someone who claims to be in the service industry for 41 years his skills are lacking.

I called the company and told them what my problem was. They were able to order the part that I needed, but it took a couple days for delivery. The day of the appt. they called me to let me know that they were running a little late. They arrived and were very polite and friendly, and they fixed my stove.

Our freezer was not freezing consistently and consequently our refrigerator was also too warm. Our usual appliance repair folks could not get here for a week, so I started calling to see is someone could come out sooner. Luckily, I stumbled across A-1 Accomplished (I guess you can tell I just started at the top of the alphabetical list and kept going until I found someone). The very next day, a Saturday, someone came out and evaluated our problem, called for a part, then came back the next day to install it. Unfortunately, the new thermostat did not fix the problem, and in response two people (it's a father and son business and son had come out the first time by himself) came on Monday and did not leave until they had solved the problem. We only paid for one service call and labor to install the thermostat. They stood behind their work and stuck with it until they figured out the solution without charging us an arm and a leg for repeated trips. Great work. By the way, if you are looking for sweetness or hand-holding, you might want to call elsewhere. These are no-nonsense guys who know their business and don't suffer fools gladly. I kinda like that sort of thing, so it amused and delighted me, but if you are easily offended by brusqueness, they may not be for you. However, if you want your appliance repaired quickly, for a reasonable price, by professionals who know what they're doing, by all means give them a call.

We came home late on Saturday night to realize that our refrigerator & freezer were not working - frozen foods were thawed and things in the refrigerator didn't feel cool. Called several providers on Angie's List who claimed 24/7 emergency service but A-1 Accomplished was the only one who picked up the phone at 10 pm on a Saturday night, helped to diagnose the problem over the phone and walk us through a short-term solution. Tom followed up the following day with a house call and repaired the faulty parts. Very responsive. Personable and understanding. Knew his stuff and charged a reasonable price. He'll be first on our list to call next time we are in a similar situation.

I called and made an appointment, they came out and repaired it and I was able to give them my credit card over the phone.

My refrigerator was not working well at all. Not cooling well and running all the time. Someone from this company came within 24 hours after I called (I found the company on Angie's List). Quickly found the problem and replaced the fan. Showed me in detail what wasn't working and gave me some advice for the future. I now have a 2-year warranty for parts and labor for the fan. It's easy to forget how much we all depend on these appliances until they break down. I very much appreciate this company's responsiveness, efficiency and expertise. My refrigerator sounds and operates normally now!
