Description of Work: A&R installed a solar power system on our home. They were totally professional and joy to work with from the sales call to the project's finish--and they continue to keep us informed by email about public policy changes concerning solar energy as well as FAQs about individual solar installations. The sales and office staff were extremely informative and friendly, and the project manager provided ongoing progress reports during the course of the installation. We needed an electrical service upgrade, which they also coordinated. They provided us with all documentation and paperwork to facilitate our applying for the Washington State incentive. They really "held our hands" from start to finish and beyond and we are completely happy with the outcome.

Description of Work: I checked with multiple providers and got written quotes. I decided I would go with A and R solar after getting a call on Friday afternoon from the salesman to offer services the next week "if" I would make an immediate decision. "OK...Send me a contract"... The contract contained a couple of substantial errors in the math and omitted the offered guarantee. Also, when I called on Monday morning to clarify the errors, I was told that 'oh gee, we were mistaken, can't get your permits in time, it will actually be 4-6 weeks (at least) before we can start and "it was late on Friday" but "we would have corrected the mistakes"...REALLY? At best, these guys don't pay attention to details and at worst...well, I declined to use them at which point the salesman said I should "trust" their [5] YEARS of experience. Steer clear or watch your p's and q's
