24 hour flood response

Property management here, tenants bathroom flooded from backed up mainline, 24 Hour was quick to respond and take care of business in a professional and courteous manner, I highly recommend you call them if you are ever in need of flood services in the Seattle area, Chuck will take care of you!

OK on the most part.

They did not do a very good job cutting the wood and it cost mroe money to fix. The technician was very nice, just not very good at the work.

Chuck installed several fans.  It was necessary to puncture small holes in the wall in order to dry it out and prevent the deterioration of the wall as well as inhibit the forming of mold.  He inserted a series of "plugs" at intervals in the wall.  The plugs were connected to a high power fan.  In addition, he placed fans throughout the room.  These fans were running for several days.  Chuck checked on the fans more than once to ensure they were running properly and to check on the temperature of the room.   He always called ahead of time, and showed up at the specified time he indicated.  He was professional, friendly and courteous. 
I am writing this information on behalf of my sister who wanted me to place it on Angie's List (I belong to Angie's List and found this business on it) because she was so pleased with the work he did.  I was helping her out and was present on two occasions when Chuck came to check on the fans, etc.  He went beyond the scope of his job when he carried her flat screen television to the upper floor!   She felt that Chuck was very trustworthy and I agree with her 100%.  Both of us wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

It went very well, as noted above.

It went brilliant; the guy was just great. He was full of information and very thorough. He was very mindful of our house and was very respectful in our house, not dragging any mud in and being very careful with all the machines. Even though we kind of wanted him out of there early he said he couldn't, then got out the moisture tester telling us it was still not quite dry; he said in good faith he could not take it out yet. He was very thorough and good to deal with. The gentleman had lots of tips on how to deal with the insurance companies and was not pushy. He could have done the repairs for us and I asked him if he wanted to but he was very honest and said he did not have some of his subcontractors in place to do the work yet, so declined. He was really a great guy and I would use him again in a heartbeat. If he was late he would always change the time of his appointment if he could not make it or he would show up on time.

The superb quality of Cory's work was one of the few bright spots of this nightmare.  I called 24 Hour Flood Response in the middle of the night (3am?) and Cory showed up within 2 hours, which amazed me (the fact that anyone answered the phone at 3am was itself amazing).  Cory went right to work and at each step of the way, he kept us fully informed as to what was happening, what he needed to do, why, and what would likely come next.  He communicated with us at the right times, and each time he was both professional and sympathetic (which was important, given that he had to tear open several parts of our house).

I hope I never have to experience anything like this again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to call Cory again.

(Note: I'm not rating this provider on price because I have no idea how much this type of project is supposed to cost.)
