Arrived promptly, very professional, efficient, courteous.

MM did a great job cleaning the heating ducts in the house. I have been the subject of the scam where the duct cleaning service shows up and just blows a jet of compressed air in the vent openings. That does absolutely NOTHING to clean the 20 feet of duct under the house or in the walls. My sense is that most of the "$100 whole house duct cleaning" offers are a waste. You have to have a service that runs a brush into the vents and returns. These guys were on time. In fact they were early, but called before to see if we were available early. The appointment was within two days of when we called. We are also having a furnace installed soon by MM, so we got a small discount on the price. They were very courteous, thorough, and I was quite impressed with their work. No games, just honest cleaning.

Tech seemed somewhat bewildered--he said "I don't know which one is the mix supply, but I guess we can just replace all the sensors". That statement seemed to reflect his general state of mind the whole time he was here. He didn't have any replacement sensors with him even though I told the office when I made the appointment the make & model of my equipment and the diagnostic message. When he left he said he would have someone call me with an estimate on the parts. That never happened, so a week later I called a different company, nwmechanical. They sent a guy out and it was fixed in less than an hour, in one trip. I called MM back to ask them what happened, and they said "Seth [the tech] no longer works for us". Given that they charged me $100 for nothing, I was hoping to get something back. They said they would have the manager call me, but that never happened either. So MM failed by 1) sent out an incompetent tech, 2) their office staff never called with the parts estimate, and 3) the manager never called back.

As soon as we tried to use the furnace in our new house we knew it had problems. It sort of worked until a fews days before Thanksgiving and we were hosting. After a service call we were told we had two major problems, a cracked heat exchange and failing control board. The old furnace wasn't that nice to begin with and was 15 years old. Our problems were so close to the Thanksgiving holiday that we could understand if they couldn't get it fixed in time, but another customer canceled and we had our furnace in less than 24 hours after deciding which furnace to choose. (We did get other bids, more or less the same price, but we wanted to work with these guys and we wanted the Trane furnace). They saved our Thanksgiving and we think the furnace they put in is really nice. The ductwork upgrades were thier idea, and a good one. Once they pointed out how it could have been done better in the first place it was obvious we had to fix it. We went from almost no air flow on the second floor to a good balance across the house. We also had a flood in our crawlspace at that time, the ductwork guys were really superheros to work in such awful conditions. I really should have bought the ductwork installers Starbucks gift cards and a package of dry socks. I wouldn't hesitate to call MM comfort for a service call, ductwork or a new furnace. They did all three for us and all their guys were outstanding.

Same technician has been servicing my furnace for the past 8 years. Always have good suggestions for maintaining my furnace, always friendly and prompt.

First let me say they actually explained why we didn't need the considerably higher priced products we had been thinking about (other contractors didn't tell us this and were willing to sell us what we didn't need at the higher cost). They took care of all the permits and notified the city of completion. These folks called the day before the installation to confirm the time they would be there and then the morning of the installation they called to tell us they were laoded and leaving the shop and their estimated time of arrival. They arrived on time, completed the job in the amount of time they had told us, cleaned up the area nicely and carried away all the old equipment for disposal. This is just the way contracting should be but seldom is.

The price was reasonable. It was great. They were on time; they were nice people. They did a good installation.

It took a couple weeks before I was able to get in contact with the appropriate person/department in the company. After that the process went quite smoothly, although it took another 3 weeks before the heat pump was installed.

They were on time, good customer service, prompt, the instal was great they came early, cleaned up after themselves etc.

They showed up for both appointments on time, were professional, and did a good job.

Purchased new Lenox gas furnace through CostCo. M&M installed system. Installed furnace and replaced old connection fittings and pipe. Did a complete test of air pressure for leaks and performance. Tuned burner to maximize performance. Overall a very professional install.

They were responsive in terms of coming out and following through and providing quotes and estimates. The project was quite a bigger scope than what I had expected, so I don't know if their price was not competitive other than the fact that it was just a bigger project. I would consider hiring them in the future.

Didn't have work done by this contractor.

Technician suggested we have the igniter replaced. MM Comfort called the next day to give me a price on the part & labor. Very professional from office staff to technician. Will use them in the future.

Was referred to this company by a co-worker who gave them a good review, too bad my experience wasn't equal to hers. Here is what happened ... Someone from the company called about 1/2 prior to the appointment time and wanted to ask me a few questions. This seemed like a legitimate thing to do. The conversation consisted of statements like "PSE has the monopoly, what did they quote you", "you should definitely switch to gas" to "you need a new unit, it's just better that way". When I asked the guy if they converted oil burners, the response was "Need to check with my boss" followed by a hand over the receiver as he talked to someone else in the room. I finally asked if the phone conversation was in lieu of someone actually coming out to my house to take a look at the situation and give me an estimate and his response was "well, I can if you really want me to". The ballpark estimate, given over the phone, without having stepped foot in my house, was $6,000. No idea what that entails, as I don't have anything in writing. The whole handling of the situation was just bad business. I felt like this guy just didn't want to be bothered. To bad one person has tarnished the company's reputation in this consumers eyes, a very bad representation of the company, especially since most of the reviews they've gotten thus far have been good. Needless to say they just lost a potential job as I'm certainly not going to consider them what with that kind of CS and they have gotten a bad review too! The "D" rating is because at least the person I originally made the appointment with was responsive and asked the right questions.

Don't do businesses with them. Other companies will be cheaper. I called Blue Flame finally. Much cheaper and great service.

Good estimate of technicial arrival time, prompt arrival, quick diagnosic and repair. Technicial was professional, with a nice personality. We talked football in between his runs from his truck to the furnace. He never stalled, or prolonged any part of the repair process.

We found MM through the Costco program. Craig came to the house twice to walk us through everything and explain what would be the best fit for us. He explained why we should go with a heat pump instead of an air conditioner. He wrote up a plan for the installer to do some duct work as well. MM were very efficient, polite and knowledgeable, conscientious. MM was not the highest of lowest quote , we chose them over lower quotes because they made us feel confident all the way along, and the work is backed by Costco. MM ensured that we were informed about and received applicable rebates (PSE). We also received a Costco cash card of $100 for every thousand spent. We are very happy with MM, and will go them for any future needs we have.

Arrive on time and completed the project quickly and economically.

Their service was great! They knew what they were doing. They were very knowledgeable and completed the work.

They did an excellant job. The old furnace was completely removed and the new one installed quickly and efficiently. They left the house at least as clean as they found it and the furnace is working great.

note: review has been updated / amended to include followup experience with MM MM Comfort Systems did all the HVAC work for the home we purchased in 2008. The home was plumbed for air conditioning which we paid them to install in 2010. As we have lived in this house we have been cleaning up after some very poor work that they did. A year ago we were annoyed by loud "ticking" noises when our heat ran. I hired MM to come out and investigate and they were unwilling to repair the issues since they would have to tear open walls and ceilings. So I hired another HVAC company who was willing to spend the time and energy to fix the problem. What they discovered was terrible. 1. The Exhaust pipes for the furnace ran through the ceiling without any gaskets or protective material between the PVC pipe and the wood. This meant that when the heat came on the thermal expansion in the PVC pipe had nowhere to go and instead sent loud noises all over our house. This was repaired by sawing away some wood around the pipes. 2. In fixing this problem an even worse issue was discovered. The Supply duct from the furnace to the supply duct on the other side of a wall was not lined with metal (fire hazard, leaving exposed wood) and there was a 2 inch by 4 inch gap in the wall cavity sending heating and cooling into our walls and lowering the static pressure (see supplied photos) 3. The size of the hole between the furnace and the supply ducts were too small for the volume of air being pushed around our house and the number of registers in our house. The HVAC contractor we hired was shocked by the sloppiness and neglect in this situation. I spent about $800 to correct this. When I called them a few days ago and left a message to discuss the issues related to our air conditioning they did not even return my call. I hired a much better and more responsive HVAC contractor who is a carrier dealer to resolve (Cardinal). In short, I would never hire, or recommend MM comfort systems to anyone. Their work is poor and their customer service is terrible. Note: I made corrections and fixed some typos above but have generally left the content of the review in tact to capture the sentiment of my experience. Below is a summary of what's happened since posting. A few days after posting I received a call from Bill Nicoletta at MM Comfort Systems. He called to discuss my review and understand more about the situation. Bill had researched all of the information related to our house and the work that was done. He was very professional and took responsibility for the issues and situation and called to express his apology for my experience and explain that the kind of experience that I had was not acceptable. He went as far as to offer to address any remaining issues and work with us to compensate us for the cost we incurred to repair the ticking sound. I was very impressed that Bill read the review and contacted us to make things right. In my mind this says a lot about the company and their focus on their reputation, which I wasn't expecting. I appreciate this and have revised this review to include this information for others to get the full context of my experience which now includes this interaction with Bill. I have changed my professionalism rating to A and the overall experience to B from F to reflect the professionalism and work Bill has done to make things right.

Excellent - professional and informative.

I could not be happier with the level of service, price, and professionalism of the team I worked with at MM C S. I had warned them that I was very disappointed in service levels from previous contractors performing other types of work. This company however could not have handled this whole transaction better. Very professional and the communication was great. I knew what was going on every step of the way and understood any changes that needed to be made as the work began. I cant say enough about them and would most definitely use them again.

I've used them and they were very good. The installation went very easily. I myself was recovering from brain surgery at that time when my furnace went out. But it was a very easy do. I had no problems with the furnace company. They were honest and they did a good job. I was very satisfied.
