MM Comfort Systems

The initial installation of our furnace by MM was extremely poor. Our builder had to pay another HVAC company $3,000 to spend a whole day repairing and moving the furnace to meet codes that were ignored by MM and to keep our furnace working well. And then when it quit working anyway, MM came out to start it again and lied about their repair. Since that time, our builder has paid another contractor to replace the whole furnace. The product was excellent, but MM did such a poor job installing it that it had to be replaced. And now our builder is having to do the same kinds of repairs and replacements on every home in our new neighborhood. I can't believe MM is still in business. I filed a report with the BBB, and I strongly suggest you do not hire them for any reason.

Everyone at MM Comfort Systems was great. They were professional, friendly, prompt and helpful. That goes for both the lady who set up our service call to the technician who came out and performed the work. The technician was on time and explained everything on the report clearly. I would definitely use them again if I had an occasion to do so.

They will need to come back, per the inspector's finding, to replace a piece of as drywall they removed as it is a firewall violation. They were not experienced and the work was average. I wouldn't recommend them.

The technician who came and performed the estimate was very good. The workers who did the installation were good at problem-solving and needed to reconnected some pipes in the crawl space. They were very nice to work with.

They also installed a heat pump and a new AC handler about a year ago. We went through Costco for the units. They did a good job both times and I also recommended their service to a friend. We scheduled a couple weeks week out. They came out to perform routine maintenance as we signed up for an annual service agreement with them. They've been very good to work with.

They provided a great price and scheduled the work efficiently. When they left, they left glue/sealer around the edge of the furnace that he we had to remove with a razor blade. Overall however they did a good job and I was happy with them.

There was an instance with the wiring that needed to be rewired. They came out within a few days to rewire them. There have been no problems and scheduling was right on-time for the heatwave. We have been pretty happy with the product.

They were fine. Scheduling was also fine, there were no problems.

It took four times to get the drains done correctly. The fourth time they sent out one of their top people to handle the situation. The technicians were fine overall.

Overall, it went fine. There were some issues with scheduling due to people being out sick but overall it went well. We are still waiting of the duct cleaning, which we have scheduled, and the inspection, which we also have scheduled.

It was great. My husband primarily worked with and they were on-time for the installation.

Scheduling was fine and they were compliant with a scheduling adjustment. The technician was very polite, helpful and gave us information regarding our heat pump. The visit was covered under warranty.

Things have gone pretty well with them. Everything went pretty smoothly. They were a little late but called to let me know they were running behind. They did a very good job and there was no trouble and they were easy to work with. I am still working with them to deliver the correct filter and to resolve some questions about the new thermostat works.

They were really responsive and kept applying for the PUD rebates as our home was a new build situation. When the installer came, he installed it so it was a gravity feed situation and therefore the machine makes no noise. The office staff, especially Angie, was very supportive and worked with us very well. They were even good about giving us the details as to how to have it pre-wired to reduce installation costs. We enjoyed working with them.

Unfortunately, they didn't have all the parts needed to complete the work the same day due to a rat and needed to reschedule. Outside of that, everything went well. The pricing was pretty good as a different company was to going to charge $5,000 just for the unit without labor.

The team at MM Comfort Systems acknowledged the initial poor diagnosis, waived the initial repair charges, and went out of their way to rectify the issues with our heat pump system. Thank you to service manager who provided excellent inputs to help inform a decision on whether to fix the old dated system, or whether to replace with a new system. Technician worked diligently to replace faulty components and to ensure heat pump is working well.

Scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20 from noon to 3 pm. They didn't call to say they were on their way yet around 2:50, so I called them and they told me there was some sort of computer issue where my appointment didn't get over to the service team. The person I spoke to could see the appointment but it wasn't scheduled for the people who actually get dispatched to do the work. So we have a wasted half day taken from work and a need to reschedule out to Dec. 5 now. They don't offer confirmation calls prior to the day of service so it was up to me to call to confirm. I did reschedule and will post a review of actual service performed on the new date, but no offer of a discount or accommodation for their error on scheduling. We just got scheduled on the next available open slot. That part was very disappointing. I've been a customer for 20 years including annual maintenance and a new furnace. UPDATED: Owner contacted me the day after the missed appointment and apologized for the inconvenience. Rescheduled and made accommodations for the missed appointment.

In all of my dealings with MM Comfort Systems, I have always been pleased with the work they do and the professional manner in which they conduct business. I originally was looking into some of the Angie's List Big Deals when looking for someone to replace my furnace, but MM Comfort has been the one who has serviced my old furnace for the past several years and they were always fair and never tried to upsell me on a new furnace, so I felt comfortable with them. I contacted MM through there website and received a call back within just a few hours to setup a time for getting an estimate. They were able to come out on the day and time I requested, and Craig called a few hours before hand to confirm we were still on. Upon arrival he was polite, professional and in good spirits. I told him that I wasn't looking for anything fancy, and he said that was just fine. In fact he even suggested the lesser expensive furnace due to the size of my house, saying that it would be many years before I saw the return on my investment in a higher efficiency unit. I appreciated his honesty and that he did not in any way try to sell me something that both he and I thought was unnecessary. He took my deposit and told me I would receive a call in the next couple of day to set up an install date. When I did receive a call a few days later, I was a bit disappointed that I would have to take a day off from work for the install, because they don't do them on Saturdays, but this is a pretty common thing and that's more of a complaint with the HVAC industry as whole, so it is understandable. I received a phone call the day before my install to verify the appointment and was told that installer would be at my house between 8 and 9. I was always told to be on time is to be 10 minutes early, and on the day of my install I was very pleased to see Louis show up in his truck at 7:50. He walked up and introduced himself and then asked if it would be ok to back his truck into the driveway. I realized at that point that MM Comfort must take the time to train their installers in customer orientation skills, and new that I had made the right decision in going with them. He worked diligently to install the new furnace and toward completion came in to install the new thermostat. He took his shoes off before entering my house, which is a mess anyways, but I appreciate that level of professionalism. I also had to wonder if this has to do with the way their installers are trained, because he had the cleanest white socks, as if to make sure there was no doubt that he was not tracking any dirt in. He completed his install and explained the whole system, both the furnace and the thermostat. He vacuumed up his mess, and probably about half my garage! When he left the only sign that he was ever there was the new furnace in it place. Louis did a great job! A couple days later I received a phone call to set up the time for the county inspector to come through which will be a couple of weeks from now. I know I could have paid less for a new furnace, but always remember, you get what you pay for! MM comfort systems provided me with a quality Carrier furnace and a brand new Wifi enable thermostat at no extra cost. They took care of the permits and setting up the inspection with the county, they also give me my first year maintenance inspection free. They were extremely professional throughout the whole process. This was an extremely headache free experience! When you add all that up, I didn't really pay more for my furnace, I paid for quality! That's worth my dollar.

Technician arrived outside of 2 hour window scheduled - did call ahead to provide an ETA After "trouble shooting" (charge is $99) for 10 minutes, started to reload gas into system.

Their sales persons bid was higher than other competing bids and he was very pushy and aggressive especially after being told that we were going with a competing company for the work.

It was a very pleasant and professional experience.

They were pretty good. Communication was good as well. They performed a sales consulation with us that went well. There will be rebates issues for the unit we purchased. They came back after we called them a couple times for an installation issue. MM Comfort Systems had a lower price than another estimate we received.

I called to give an estimate through the Costco program. I received a call from the estimator on the day of the appointment to tell me he didn't have enough time but he passed the house and throughout a number for the work. From his description of my property I doubt that he really had any forethought about it. When I gave him a ballpark number that the other vendors were coming in on around his comment to me was they had a lot of overhead. I guess so.

Herb called before the scheduled appointment and arrived on time. He was fast and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and explained the areas that needed to be repaired.
