I was having a problem with my septic alarm going off. I tried to figure it out myself with the help of my neighbor and after a week caved in and called Arness. I have had them out there before for a pumping and was very pleased with the service and random advise. This service was more specialized since the system had to be inspected and troubled shot. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the technician. While he was working he was nice enough to talk to me about my system and I learned things you cannot find other the internet. He never stood around and even ran from my control box to the sand filter when he had to go back and fourth. It turned out to be a pump in my sand filter and was changed the very next day. I found Arness to be helpful, kind and reliable. Very nice group of people and it should come as no surprise why they have been in business for so long.

I was frustrated from dealing w another local company for over 6 weeks when I was recommended to try Arness. I am glad I did. Their front office staff was always kind, helpful and willing to schedule around my travel, work times. They arrived on day and time as promised and always spent time explaining their recommendations.

I have a tricky yard with a good deal of slope . With my neighbors's permission,Arness accessed my tank from my neighbor's driveway. They still had to use a longer hose, so it cost a bit more. I did not have to be here, and they billed me for the service. It was convenient.

The technician was extremely professional and really knew his way around our 3 holding tanks. He was able to easily get the lids off and then measured each one for liquids and solids and was able to tell us that we probably had another 5 years before they were going to be full, and only one of the three had measurable solids. He pumped the holding tanks and then drove up the hill to where the main septic tank is located and measured just a few inches of liquid and no solids. He explained that our system was designed to trap the solids in the holding tanks near the main house and pump the liquid up to the main septic tank. The main tank is directly connected to a garage with loft, but the loft had not been occupied for a couple of years and very little use of the bathroom in that time. He told us that it wasn't worth it to pump the main tank and it would be quite a few years before it would need pumping. He told us our system was in good working order and did not appear to have any leakages.
Would definitely use them again.
Have not yet received the bill, so I can't comment on the pricing at the moment.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. THEY WERE VERY REASONABLE AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED VERY PROMPTLY. I FEEL THEY PROVIDED GREAT FOLLOW UP TO ANY QUESTIONS I HAD.
