They were thorough and it went fine.

They were very good. They were very responsive. They put in the system and they serviced it.

The service was fine. The service of what they just did was free because it was included. There wasn’t really much to do. They just came out took a look and made sure that everything was working fine.

It was primarily cost issues. They presented me everything really well. We just couldn’t afford what we wanted to do so we decided not to. If we're looking for air conditioning, I might look at them as a possibility. They were very professional. It was fine.

It was fine, actually very nice. They did a very good job. They've just been very good at maintenance. If I need something and call, they respond.

The service turned out just fine. The heating and air conditioning system works just fine. They were just really friendly. They were nice to work with. I didn't search them out, my son did. They were installing a system at his house and I just said, "Well, come and do my house too." So price-wise, I didn't shop. But it was not too much. I've not had to call them back. They installed the furnace the same day that they installed my son's.

They did provide service. I did not select them. Their quote process was very shaky compared to the other groups I was talking to. I did not get a full explanation of the items. I intend to call the owner and let him know that it was really a full explanation. I didn’t know if the salesperson was doing that for the thing. I know the owner is a well-known and respected businessman in this community. He’s been recommended by friends and I don’t know if he offers good service. This particular interaction was not all that positive. I wanted to go back to the same sales guy and ask him to give me the details. He merely wrote down a last price. That was my response to that and passing that on to the owner would be fine to me. I wasn’t charged anything for that. They have no specific product or plan and that surprised me. The quote was all-verbal and I was taking notes like crazy but there was nothing written from the company. I don’t think they did a follow up call. I never spoke to anybody why they weren’t chosen. I would have them and directly work with the owner specifically. I never went back because I just got very specific from another company and I never had any hassles talking with them. If I’m going to use them, I would let them know that they provide a minimal service. He was directly recommended to me by a friend in Chamber of Commerce who like them. I didn’t get what I thought out of it. I never wrote a note and I never made a call. I just didn’t make time for them. I think this particular salesperson that might have been the weak link. In fairness, I should have let him know because he is the owner. I would possibly use them only because he is recommended by a Chamber of Commerce friend otherwise not.

They're wonderful. They're really good. They charged absolutely nothing for the last service because we have a contract with them. They were really good about the repair that was needed. They picked it up before we had a problem. So it was very good. They're very accommodating about trying to work around your schedule. They're actually not close by. So they really are great about servicing us. They also let you know when they're on the way, which I really like because we live on an island. So that's great and professional. I would highly recommend them because they're trustworthy and honest. They don't overcharge or anything. They have a good pricing.

It turned out very well. I've been doing business with them for about 6 or 7 years. They're just very good. They always wear shoe covers whenever they're here. They're cordial. They seem to know what they're doing.

Inspected and cleaned the A/C and furnace units. Discovered the filters were in upside down and disconnected from the main control board. They did a thorough cleaning and inspection of both units. The only part that need replacing was a capacitor on the A/C unit. Natt went out of this way to show me why the part need to be replaced. There is no doubt in my mind that they exceed my expectations, in both professionalism and price. For that reason I even joined their "Service Club Membership". I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them from now on!

My partner used them for multiple years. When we as a team observed obvious problems that any reputable company would have fixed, they basically said why don't you just cancel your service contract with us then? Which we did. They actually had a contract that meant they were going to take better than average care of us, but that did not happen. They told us they were not taking care of the propane generator side of their business anymore even though they installed it for us. They had a perfect opportunity to stand up and fix things for us, but chose to walk away and move on to their next customer apparently. They offered to do some additional work to the tune of $300 and when I did some checking I was able to have it done for $100. But that was after the fact after they basically had been fired where we said we would send a letter in canceling our silver program, which is some kind of benefit program and they oversell it and then under deliver. It is a special program that they charge you $200 or $300 a year for and it is sold like it is going to cover whatever they have installed from heat pumps to propane to whatever. Then when they are questioned they give you excuses. They were punctual, but in every other area they failed.

Very professional and extremely quickly, especially for being requested during the summer hot months. I called their office on 8/1/2014, they were able to provide the estimate on 8/4/2014 and the install was completed on 8/8/2014- all services completed within 1 week of the initial phone call. Keith did an excellent survey of our house and recommended the best equipment at the best price. The tech crew arrived on time and completed the project ahead of schedule - they had estimated 1-1/2 days and were done in 1 day! By the time they had cleaned up and left, you would never have known they were even in the house!!

They kind of explained what they were doing, showed me the parts and the benefits of what they were doing. It took a little bit more time to explain what they were doing. I think the first time I contacted them, they didn't get back to me.

Tech was very knowledgeable and polite. Even though the furnace is over 20 years old, he just pointed out problems we might have in the future and didn't try and push anything on us. Very thorough.

Our intial contact with Blackhills was professional. James did the initial assessment with a great recommendation. Charles & Joe performed outstanding work and were very knowledgeable. The installation was faster than expected along with excellent workmanship. We are very pleased with our new furnace & heat pump. We could not find a better deal. The priceing was a bit much but the quality of work performed plus the caring attitude and thorough explanation of the system, warranties/guarantees; made the price well worth it. Thank you James, Charles & Joe for everything. Blackhills is a quality company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Team arrived on time and spent a little more than an hour, disassembling, inspecting & cleaning the heat exchanger/blower system and the outside condenser/fan unit. They identified a few issues that I'll have addressed under warranty, with the original installer. I used an Angie's List coupon offer for $111, this was at least $50 less than any other local company. The crew was very professional, polite and took time to ensure I knew the issues that were identified. At the end of the process, they did offer their maintenance service plan, but there was no "pressure sell". I did not purchase, this time, but it may be of value in the future.

They shut down the system, and sent someone out to give us information. There was no pressure to use them, but we had an urgency to get the system running due to a medical condition. They installed that Saturday. They came back again to double checked what they’d done, and even crawled under the house to check the other equipment. They went above and beyond.

Josh cleaned and tuned up furnaces at our home and at a rental house. This was not a slap dash job. He was extremely thorough and approached the job with the forensics knack of a Sherlock Holmes. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Attention to detail and cleanliness were top notch. And Heather, the person who I spoke with to set up the appt., was great -- courteous and efficient. I would deal with them again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Very well. I was totally satisfied. Very prompt appointment. They offer annual program for continued and timely annual tune up. Very reasonable. Tech was excellent.

This is a great company. Starting with the office who are so friendly and helpful. My technician came on time and was respectful of our house by wearing booties. He explained everything that he would be doing and showed me the parts and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. Once he was done, he kindly put everything back the way it originally was. I will be a repeat customer because of the excellent service I received.

Overall, it was a good experience. Technician identified the issue. Parts and labor will be covered by warranty. They will order the parts and fix the issue when parts arrive.
