Description of Work: I am so grateful to Angie's List for helping me to find such a great team. Ballard (owner) came over first to see what I wanted repaired. First was the dry rot which initially looked somewhat contained to about 6" (to the eye). Ended up being over 12' and all windows needed replacing in addition to the reframing. Also had new tile placed in the master bath which also included removal of some existing decorative tile. With all of the projects the crew and each individual was prompt, friendly, and kept me informed as to the work needed as well as the time frame adjustment. The initial cost was $1900.00 for 40 hours of work. The additional $ were for materials, new windows, labor over 40 hours. I HIGHLY recommend this company. You can't go wrong. I will be hiring them again in the future. What a lucky purchase!

Description of Work: After requesting this service provider it took months to complete what should have been a couple of weeks job with no work started for at least a couple of months after purchasing this Angie's List offer. Contractor has rang up CONSIDERABLE charges for labor and materials that seem exaggerated or excessive. Quality of work is fair but consistency was poor. I feel like I have been overcharged and am going to review the bill with the service provider all over again to make sure the charges are legitimate. I would not recommend this service provider to anyone.

Description of Work: Had a 300+ sq Ft "master suite" added to our 1100 sq ft home. While we are happy with the overall result, especially the bathroom tile work, we were disappointed in the dry wall workmanship as well as the cost, timeliness & roof issues (which are now resolved). There was never a schedule, talk about being over the estimate, nor adherence to change orders per the contract. Original bid was based on a prior project of GMG's that was grossly underestimated as noted post project (bill) completion. While some of the delays could not be avoided this could have been less frustrating had there been better communication & supervision. Grateful this project is complete and we can enjoy our added space.

Description of Work: These guys are awesome! Hands down best contractors I've worked with. Professional, excellent quality, flexible with changing designs. They worked on re-building a small deck; tile work for my spare bathroom, fireplace hearth, and kitchen counter; and installed crown molding and ceiling panels in my family room. Would recommend to anyone!

Description of Work: Had GMG quote multiple projects around the house. Liked my initial interaction with Ballard who was very knowledgable. Purchased their 40 hr Big Deal to knock off a number of items on the list. High quality work, cleaned up afterwards. No problems with the work. The hours quoted were way off though with no surprises meaning I didn't get done as much as I believed I would. Make sure and scrub the quote before getting started on the project. I would use them again with the quality and attention,

Description of Work: I've called this company a couple times and have never heard back!

Description of Work: We had a tight time frame to perform a full kitchen demo and rebuild. We had an overall schedule of 5 weeks with no GC on board. We had already hired the electrical and plumbing contractors. GMG through Angie's List stepped up and completed the demo starting the following weekend and completing in essentially two days. They then agreed to complete major portions of the re-build. Ballard and his crew were very responsive, professional and knowlegeable. We went from demo to functional in 6 weeks. We had a couple of extra work items and unforeseen conditions in the electrical rough-in which added the extra week. All in all very pleased with GMG and look forward to using them in the future.

Description of Work: The general contractor has been in contact with me; however, everything is mowing very slowly and the 40 hrs. I already paid for have not been fulfilled at this time. So far the whole remodel project apparently has been held up by permits from the city. Yet, the application process started in March. Also, I had asked for an adjusted cost estimate 2 weeks ago and haven't received one yet. Currently the owner is on vacation and will contact me next week.

Description of Work: They replaced the tile around our fireplace and painted the handles on the fireplace as well as mounted the TV on the wall. They also installed some light fixtures, although they installed them uneven and I had to tell them to even them out. Then they put a frame around our mirror in our bathroom. In general, it was hard to get a response at times to get the work scheduled and the quality wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It wasn't bad and I liked them, just not the same level of quality as I had expected.

Description of Work: Removal of tub & surround in master bathroom. New sheetrock, Re-plumb & Install walk-in shower with floor to ceiling porcelain tile w/mosaic glass tile accent stripe & install mosaic tile backsplash around vanity. I am completely satisfied with the finished project! The worker's schedule/routine was somewhat erratic & project took about twice as long as estimated. That being said, it was well worth it!

Description of Work: Helped with a bathroom remodel. They did the subfloor, framing, installed the new tub, replacedthe lights and added a fan. It went well. There was a problem after they had left for the day and they responded immediatley and came back an took care of it.
