We only got a quote so far from GMG Construction but he is very good. He gives almost immediate response as you can call or text him. The price is decent. If his work is anything like he is, I know I will be very happy. I plan to use his service.

Great, Great, Great! I had a very long to-do list including cabinet installation, some electrical and plumbing work, as well as carpentry work. They did everything on my list. It was perfect and I still can't believe they got everything done in one week

They did fine. They did a bunch of work in addition to what was contracted. We contracted for 48 hours and they end up doing an additional of 20 hours.

I have worked with various contractors over the years. None have been as good as GMG Construction. Ballard, Darin and Andy are complete professionals who I highly recommend. They went above and beyond the tasks on our project list. They did an outstanding job, cleaned up, are reasonably priced and completed the work on time and on budget. They strive for top-notch customer service and quality craftsmanship. Will definitely use them again!

Did take a bit of time to get response on bid and starting the project, but once started, very professional and arrived when scheduled. Professional workers.

He was very knowledgeable as to what would be required for each project. His work scheduling was very booked at this time so we were not able to use his company. He recommended another company that could do some of our work for a reasonable price in a quicker time frame. He gave us hints and ideas of things that might help us in fixing several small projects. We are very satisfied and would call on his company for another bid if a large project is needed.

No service was provided, with their apologises.

Workmanship good, collateral damage to existing walls created extra work for me to re finish some already finished product.

Remodeled the basement and turned it into a bedroom. Great guys to work with. Ballard is as smart as a whip, and the crew he brought in were very focused on their tasks and didn't waste any time. All in all, a competent, highly effective team. | |I plan on using them when I can.

He called and cancelled appointment 1/2 hour before he was supposed to be there. Said his daughter was sick and had to pick her up from school, which I understand being a parent myself, but he told me he would call or come out the next day....haven't heard from him since.

Ballard's infectious enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to detail were a great benefit to our project. Tackling a garage finish/storage/remodel had scared us for years, but Ballard helped turn the proverbial disaster zone into a great usable space. Ballard showed a good balance between options, price, and functionality, and helped design a great solution that met our budget - in addition to leading the work, Ballard took a set of rambling "we wants" and created a well-thought-out design. He and his team were responsible and professional, and the workmanship was excellent. We'll be using GMG construction again, and would happily recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job, it was done in a timely manner. When they came for their initial inspection, either they didn’t disclose or were not sufficiently clear that it would be more than the hours allotted within the deal and I had to cover the additional expenses. Aside from that the craftsmanship was of high quality.

GMG was very prompt on responding to my order. I was contacted quickly and an appointment was scheduled for the same week. Unfortunately, the final estimate was substantially higher than originally thought and I cannot afford to proceed.

They came out in March. They gave a range of between 11000 to 75000 dollars for a kitchen remodel. He knew exactly what he was doing. I had no questions. He was very respectful.

Good service - Professional Crew

The quality of the work was excellent and so was the workmanship. Each one of the employees was very skilled at their job. They did an excellent job of cleaning up every day which we appreciated. We were very pleased with the service, it was just a bit on the expensive side.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with GMG Construction. Ballard McFarlane is very knowledgeable, skilled, and customer-oriented, and he leads a great crew. As I gathered estimates for someone to go up into our ceiling (in a hallway and 3 rooms) to insulate the pipes then do some cosmetic work, Ballard was the only one to notice subtle clues which suggested there might be poor air circulation between ceiling & roof and water damage above the ceiling. When he & his crew got up into the ceiling, that's exactly what they found; what a mess! They hauled out ~20 Hefty bags full of sodden black insulation, then ran dehumidifiers for a week until the beams dried out & they could proceed (including replacing some rotted parts). Ballard kept us informed, asked our preferences, but also made suggestions, has very good judgment. He & his whole crew were very responsive to our needs, including our occasional phone calls. (One Sunday, one of the dehumidifiers got clogged with ice and started leaking. I called; one of his crew came right out to check on and address the situation.) Ballard ended up calling the company that had installed our roof 2 yrs earlier to work out with them the considerations around which of them would install the necessary ridge vent (but left the final decision to us). The job ended up being much more involvement and thus took longer than originally scheduled (7 weeks instead of maybe 3 weeks if the moisture problem hadn't been there), and I'm sure it ended up overlapping with other jobs GMG had scheduled, but they kept up their professional demeanor and responsiveness, though at the very end I did specifically ask for a walk-through to address a couple of loose ends (which they readily took care of). We stayed in parts of the house that weren't under construction during the whole job, and particularly appreciated their cleanup at the end of each day, and their thorough cleanup of the worksite and driveway every Friday afternoon. Contracts & billing were sent by email, & communication about these were also handled in a friendly and professional manner.

They did good work. The quality and craftsmanship was good. They made everything as it should be by the end. It was a little bit of a struggle because there were a few misunderstandings because I thought the job was not what we agreed on. They came out quickly and made some adjustments to fix it. I think the owner was juggling a lot of jobs and I felt he was rushing through. But they were very responsive and came right out to make it right in the end.

We started on May 18th 2009 and finished around Mid October. The work turned out great and we could not be more pleased. If something wasn't quite right, it was fixed right away. The workers are also top notch. They were prompt, professional, ,clean, and courteous. For the most part, his crew did the majority of the work. I would highly recommend them for anyone. A great bunch of guys.

Simply stated; we have not looked for another contractor since our first project in 2003. The experiences have been worry free and solid work.

It turned out fabulous, honestly. The work is in progress, but they have been here for about 4 weeks. They were here soon after we called them, the owner is on top of everything. He identifies problems that aren't obvious to us. He has a great crew that work well together and independently. They have a lot of skills and are here everyday by 7:30a.m. and leave by late afternoon or whenever that part of the job is done. They worked with the insurance adjuster throughout the whole project to identify areas covered by insurance. I would recommend them, I can't speak more highly about them. The price is what I would expect to pay for this amount of work.

We were delighted by their pace. Most work was completed in a 5 week period, without interruption. The crew cleaned up each night and restored our bedroom so we were able to live in the house for most of the remodel. Ballard McFarlane, the owner of GMG, was always available by phone to answer any questions or concerns. His crew showed up early and promptly, always willing to review the day's plan. The difference between the original estimate and final price was completely due to change orders communicated in advanced and authorized by us.
