Blue Flame Heating and Air Conditioning

The provider was on time and everything was done well.

I had pre-paid for this service, so I don't remember the price. This was an annual furnace check and the technician was very polite and seemed to know what he was doing. I like that Blue Flame doesn't try to upsell, like a company that I used to work with.

He was extremely professional and efficient. The furnace inspection was overdue and needed lot of cleaning. It was sparkling when he was done and he kindly recommended I vacuum the removable filters 3-4x a year since we have pets. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and call them again next year for our annual service.

I contacted Blue Flame because we needed help with our Navien water heater. I initiated the discussion via web chat and they asked for my information, then I was contacted by phone by their service desk--this all took about 5 min, not a ton of time, but kind of annoying after finding out they wouldn't work on a Navien they didn't install. I wish they had told me that when I was web chatting, It is confusing since they are listed as an authorized repair agent on Navien's web site. I could see if they needed to charge us more for a repair had it been installed incorrectly, but to just not touch it seemed like poor service to me. The unit has been running for 4 years, we just need some help. Oh well, we'll go elsewhere.

When the other company we contacted failed to return our call or respond to our email service request, we contacted Blue Flame. They came out the same day (within hours) of when we called. The repair person was very punctual and professional and we were back with heat when he completed the work. He had all parts for the repair with him so it was a one stop repair. Definately will use them again in the future.

Did what I expected. Decided to go with the company that original installed the heater.

I explained the problem to Adam and of course the heater was doing what it should but Adam was persistent in resetting and testing until he got it to falter. He tested all the possible parts that could be causing the problem. He did a complete maintenance to rule out dust etc. His conclusion was that the main board may be going bad (17 years old) but it may last for some time to come. He only charged me for the diagnostic not the maintenance. I will definitely call Blue Flame for all my future heating service.

The technician was prompt, took great care to ensure nothing was disturbed and everything was clean, explained what was done and suggested additional steps we could take to improve the air quality from the furnace. Arrived on time and took apart furnace to clean. Sprayed filter with air to get big chunks of dust off from earlier vent cleaning. Nice, professional, would recommend.

They responded very quickly after I bought the deal from Angie's List with emails and then a phone call. The customer service person was very nice and answered all my questions and set us up with an appointment quickly. They also left a message the day prior to the appointment to remind me. The service person was on time during their appointment window and called beforehand to let me know he was coming. He performed the service quickly, answered all my questions well and it was a quick and easy experience. I would definitely call them again if I need any other furnace service.

It went great. We have that service done every year and we usually use a different company but they could not get to us and Blue Flame could come right out. They were courteous, competent and did what had to be done in a timely fashion. Our regular people could come in early October and we want to have it done before we turn the furnace on. They honored the big deal.

It went great; in fact, far better than other firms I've used who offered an annual tuneup.

Based on my own knowledge, I kinda knew it was the blower motor, capacitor, or control board that failed. So I made an appointment for them to come out and take a look to see what was causing the blower failure. Within the time to unscrew four screws from the control board, to see the relay had burnt out, it was the circuit board needing to be replaced. I had kinda shopped around before hand to see how much a new board was going to cost $100-$300. So I inquired to see how much they were willing to charge to get it fix on the spot. When he handed me the pre-printed form with fixed cost already on the form, I laughed. They were going to charge me almost $900 for a part which cost $100 and $800 for :10 minutes of labor. So I kindly declined and order the part myself and installed which cost me only $70 for the part on eBay. I would have certainly allowed the technician to do the work if the cost was fair or reasonable, but come on Blue Flame, $900 to replace a control board. Future customers, please beware of their fixed pricing. Get a least two other quotes.

I was happy with 100% of the work. The person who came out to give me the bid was excellent. He answered all my questions and was very quick to follow-up. The installer on the day of was also great and got it all done fast and with a clean/tidy worksite. Very happy with the results and my overall feeling about the company. They weren't the cheapest bid but they gave me the best feeling about customer service so I went with them and I'm happy I did.

From start to finish everything went smoothly. The president spent extra time with me helping me choose the right product. This team was efficient and courteous. I am a very satisfied customer and am enjoying my cool house!

Needed an inspection done on a house that we are trying to buy. Blue flame couldn't schedule it until next week, but when I told them that would be after my allowed inspection period, they changed their schedule to fit me in this week! The tech was knowledgeable and quick, and gave me a fair estimate on repair costs. Thanks again for the help!

It went great. Everyone from the schedulers, salesman, installers, service tech to supervisor were absolutely wonderful with us. Everyone was polite, respectful and worked EXTREMELY hard to overcome obstacles our house plagued them with. Despite all of that, they completed installation within 3 business days of our purchasing the units! Being a homeowner for over 15 years, I've never had a business move that fast for me (they knew my elderly mom needed A/C due to her medical conditions) and with quality, professional service. It was excellent. The technician, Adam, was on time. I was concerned because additional work was required which cost more, but the pricing was clear. I was also concerned he would be rushed to go to another job, but they don't schedule their technicains until the 1st job is finished.
