Everything went great. Erick showed up at the time promised and did a competent and clean job replacing our shower faucet.

Emailed via Angie's List on a Sunday and had a response back within an hour. Due to my own schedule issues, I wasn't able to phone for an appointment until Tuesday, but they were able to have someone out here the following afternoon on Wednesday. Everyone was very personable and professional. Haven't had any further issues with the leak in the hose bib since. We will definitely be using Protocol again.

I called based on Angie's list recommendations and was very happy I did so. Erich came out for my complaint of leaky faucet and determined I needed a new one, which had been my suspicion too. He said he would come back and install it once I bought it. While he was there I asked him questions about several smaller plumbing issues.. odor coming from sink which turned out to be 15 year old garbage disposal.. also 2 sinks missing plugs and tub missing a plug. Erich was able to fix all the sinks and tub that day from equipment on his truck. He was very professional and tested all the devices. He actually found the plug for one of my sinks which was underneath the sink :). He came back 2 days later and replaced my faucet after I bought it and also replaced garbage disposal. He also tested my kitchen sinks for possible slow drain and also tested dishwasher which has not been working. Erich recommended replacing dishwasher, which I was going to do anyway. He was very honest in saying he could do the work but that I could get it done more cheaply from the retailer. Erich was very professional and honest and kind. He was a professional and showed up on time and cleaned up, and took the time to turn off the main water valve while working on my sink (after finding it in my garage as I didn't know where it was). He offered to look in the crawl space for possible source of smell but I declined due to not being able to get to crawl space. Erich was incredibly thorough. Someone noted the price for the services, and I suppose one can find a cheaper price, but I am just fine paying for quality and feel I got all the value for the cost. I have total confidence that the repairs were done right and Erich said repeatedly to call him if anything came up. The price rightly reflected Erich's years of experience and I was glad to be working with him and happy to pay for the services that were provided. Thanks Angies list for the great referral and especially thank you to Erich for the repairs and giving me hope that other professionals I hire to make repairs on my 15 year old house will be just as good.

This provider wanted $300.00 just to come out and see what needs to be done. This is totally unreasonable.

Called Protocol after closing one day and left a message. Received a call back early the next morning and Mike, the plumbing tech, arrived that same day to give us an estimate. He would have done the job right then, but the job was going to require drilling through concrete siding, so he returned the next day with the required tool. He ran a line from an existing faucet through a very tight crawl space and installed a freeze free faucet in the back of the house in the area we had designated. Mike was competent, efficient, and friendly. We were pleased, and plan on calling Protocol if we have any other plumbing requirements. The cost above is plus tax. Not sure if an A grade is proper as we got no other estimates, but the price seemed reasonable for the job.

Anthony arrived promptly, very courteous and professional. Replaced the washbasin p-trap plumbing pipe and the toilet tank flapper in about 45 minutes. I appreciate having Angie's List to refer to when looking for qualified professionals.

After a really bad experience with an Angie's List Rated B plumber, I am really glad I've decided to go with only A rated providers. This is one of the plumbers Angie's personally recommended to me. I liked Erich's services so well, that I hired him again today when my upstairs sink broke. He came out today and finished before my work lunch break was over. It's also very convenient that he owns Larry's Plumbing Supply on 99 so he can get parts lightening fast. Definitely recommended!

Erich has been to the house on 2 occasions. For the most recent visit, he installed a new toilet and replacing the old out of date model with a water efficient model. The entire job was complete in just 1 hour. He is punctual, fast, professional and knowledgeable plumber.

I ended up doing the work myself, however, Protocol was the most responsive and professional of the plumbers I contacted.

The water heater install was our first time using Protocol Plumbing. He was on time, very friendly, took time needed to assess the situation (because the previous plumber couldn't figure it out in at least 2 visits), and made his recommendation. We eventually bought the new water heater through Protocol Plumbing, and had it installed. The service was great and everything was seamless. The price was very reasonable compared to other water heaters from other stores. Erich definitely seems to know what he is doing. Because that job went easily and painlessly, we hired him to install new toilets. We bought the toilets at a big box store and he installed them in about 30 minutes a piece on a few different occasions (we didn't buy the toilets all at once). The first time, he had no problem with me hanging over his shoulder to see how its done! In general, Erich is very responsive when contacted by phone. It is nice to find someone smart in their field and so reliable!

Erich first told me all the steps I needed to take before he could start his work. Once those were completed I gave him a call to schedule the work. He is very accessible! He and his team showed up on-time, did all the digging, showed me what they were doing. The grass was carefully removed, even though we have terrible grass, and carefully placed back where it belonged.. They were fast and clean. It was a much bigger job than we thought, but worth the time and money so it was done right. He offered us three service choices on how to solve our problem. We chose to run a bigger line so we have the option of adding a shower to our basement bathroom. That was the most expensive option, but we felt confident in our choice and Erich's team's ability to do what we wanted.

Erich could have simply said the problem was not with our pipes and left but that was not good enough for him. He was determined to help us find the problem. If it was not for him it could have taken us days/weeks and caused extensive damage. We are grateful for all of his help and will recommend Protocal Plumbing to all of our friends.

His communication was top-notch, professional, and punctual. Protocol had actually been recommended to me by friends, and I was able to schedule timely service. He came and got right to work, finishing much sooner than I'd expected. The quality of his materials and craftsmanship was obvious and I really appreciated that he put in little extras to make sure the job was done well, and right! He was very clear, if I had any problems to let him know right away as he always likes to make sure the customer is happy. I'd definitely use them again!

I had a plumber prior to Anthony come in and estimate ~ $600 to check to see what the problem might be and that wasn't including the cost of repairing the hole he wanted to put in my wall. Anthony came in, found the problem in my drain and instantly recognized it was due to a seal that wasn't done well!!! he was so sweet I hugged him on the spot! That is the difference between using Angie's list and just anyone off the internet.

.I really like them because they kept in touch. Also they did the work very well. I had to call them for another problem and they talked me through it, but I did not hire them because apparently I did not need service. They talked to me about how to asses the issue if I need any service. They also provided needed information to fix the issue ourselves. They were very good at what they do. Also the service man was delayed, but he did call to let us know.

It went fine and was $500 cheaper than Southwest Plumbing.

Erich was excellent! I recently had the tub and shower re-glazed so the old faucets were removed. I purchased the new ones from Home Depot thinking it would be no problem to install them. I could tell once we opened the box it would be a nightmare. I consulted Angie's list for a plumber and found Protocol Plumbing. I called them on Sunday and spoke with Erich. I explained the problem and he assured me it would be no problem to replace them. He came out Tuesday morning as promised and took one look at the old faucet and identified it as a Moen. I had purchased a Delta brand for the replacement of the main bathtub/shower faucet but a Pfister "universal" for the master bath shower. Erich installed the Pfister faucet for the master bath and told me he would come back if I wanted to run to Home Depot and purchase the universal faucet for the main bath. I ran to Home Depot, he came back and installed the faucet in the main bathroom and both work great! He made sure everything was working and told me to call him if there were any questions or concerns. He was friendly and professional and I would definitely call him again for any plumbing needs.

Erich Klemp came on time for both the free estimate and the replacement of our kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets. He has over 20 years of experience and did a perfect job. Cost came in well under the estimate because he ran into no problems, and was able to complete the job in less time than estimated. He left our house as clean as it was when he entered. He was friendly, responsible, professional. I would definitely call him next time we need plumbing or sewer work and would highly recommend him.

I called Protocol because they were highly rated on Angie's List. We needed a few leaks fixed in our bathrooms, one of which my require cutting through tiles in our bathroom. This particular bathroom we are going to remodel at some point anyway so we did not care if the bathroom was torn up a bit. We just need the money-sucking, wasteful leak to be stopped. I called Erich and he said he was not in the office but would call me back. He phoned back later that day, sooner than I thought and wanted to set up an appointment with us. He was eager and willing to come that same week. I had my husband get on the phone and give more details about our issue. After discussion, Erich was backing out of coming out to do the work, he didn't sound like he wanted to do the work. He did give us a different plumber's phone number though. I don't know if he just didn't have the skills to do the job, the desire or the time. I would have given Erich a higher score had he been more honest and forth right.

The repair guy was right on time. He diagnosed the issue and replaced the disposal. It was a quick job and we are super satisfied.

I had a frustrating water line leak that was soaking my neighbor's lawn but in an awkward spot (i.e., under a fence post). After digging some myself to try to locate the exact spot (with no luck), I called Protocol. They were pleasant and professional, told me they couldn't come until the next day, and gave me an approximate time (between 11am and noon; he arrived at 11:15). Chuck was friendly and upfront about all the possibilities, and seemed genuinely concerned about the cost to me if the search and digging took hours. He proceeded to dig and quickly found the leak, which, again, was in an awkward spot under the fence. He repaired it quickly but methodically, explaining to me what he was doing and why, all the time covered with mud and dirt and mostly lying face down on the lawn with his head in the hole. Afterwards, he took the time to give me some solid advice, and throughout the two hours or so he was here Chuck was never less than personable, polite, professional, and friendly. I found the price surprisingly low (I was prepared for twice what they charged) and fair, given the amount of work. Based on this experience, I would recommend Protocol Plumbing to anyone. From our first contact until Chuck waved and drove off, it was a thoroughly pleasant and stress-free experience. These are very likable people who were aboveboard with me about every aspect of the project, and they'll definitely be the first ones I call with my next plumbing need.

We've been doing some remodeling with new stone counters in the master bath, with two sinks and hardware. Also new stone countertops in the kitchen, including an island with a gas cooktop. We've used Erich before and had such a good experience, there was no question who we'd call for this project. When a crew ripped out the old countertops, they had to remove the gas cooktop and set it aside for the installation of the new counters Neither of us recall anyone saying that hooking the cooktop back up was our responsibility, however when I found this out, I called Erich and asked if that was something he could do. He said that was not a problem that he'd done a lot of them. He didn't just hook it up, but also cleaned off the old caulk and put a clear seal around the whole thing. So the top is now more stable and won't allow any food or other debris. This is exactly what I wanted and although he could have done less, this is typical of how he strives to please his customers. All the plumbing elements were done in good time and all work just as they should. If you're looking for someone who is honest, dependable, and competent, in my opinion, he's one you'd want to hire.
