The Grout Doctor

He was couple hours late but he was very pleansent to work with. He was very fleixalbe. The price that he gave me I feel was reasonable.

It went great. John was on time and did an amazing job on both the shower and the kitchen. He was quick, in by 8 a.m. and done around noon. We think it was a great value.

I called again because emergency from the wedding he was at. He immediately called back and could come fit me in. He came and gave me an estimate and said he could do it then, would take only 30-45 minutes. It looks very nice.

Secretary was abrupt & rude on the phone more than once. His service was great although he maybe a bit forgetful as I had him schedule another appt for grout & marble work for 2 more baths- work he never documented it on his daily schedule. Then his secretary phoned me and said she didn't know anything about it. 1 month later still no work done I had tried to call more than once on this for him to come back. He is apparently over booked.

They grout didn't match perfectly but it did really matter. He was prompt and completed the job on time. He was really nice. I was comfortable with him in the house.

When you call the company you never speak to a real person on the phone. It sends you to a voice mail that asks for you name, phone number, and zip code so they can call you back. I have called them three times and have not once got a call back from the company.

I called on April 24. The Grout Doctor was out until May 1, so I left a message. Beth returned my call immediately. We made an appointment for estimate on May 22, which I then had to reschedule to May 28. On May 28, John arrived and looked at my concerns. He gave me his professional opinion and an estimate for what he could do. We scheduled the work for June 18, his first available. One June 18, John arrive promptly and finished the work in 90 minutes.

John came to give us an estimate within one day. We scheduled the work for about 10 days out. John arrived on-time, did exactly what he said he would, with some extras thrown in. He completed the work on-time, left the rooms looking great, did a fine job and was tolerant of our barking little dogs. His work looks fine, nice and neat, and well finished. I am a real estate agent and have seen lots of work, good and bad. I would not hesitate to recommend John to any of my clients in the future.

John called to schedule an inspection and estimate, and appeared at the scheduled time. He gave us a written estimate which included a $20 Angie's List discount. John didn't appear at the scheduled time for the work (he landed in the hospital), but we received a call and our work was rescheduled. John appeared to do the work on time, did the work in three hours, and did a nice job cleaning up where he had worked. Our shower and countertops look like new. John is pleasant, businesslike, and I plan to call him again when I update our other bath. Below I checked that I got what I paid for with other workers I sometimes haven't felt like that, but it's really a pleasure working with John.

He was punctual and very friendly. Showed up when he was supposed to and his price was excellent. He seemed very reasonable.

I called him back in March to schedule the service and he never called back. I thought maybe my message wasn't clear so I called back again a couple weeks ago and he still hasn't called me back. If he isn't interested in the job, I would have expected at least a call back to let me know.

JOHN GAVE ME A PROMPT AND ACCURATE ESTIMATE. WE SCHEDULED THE REPAIR FOR ONE WEEK LATER. HE ARRIVED ON THE PROPER DATE, BUT LATE, WHICH HE APOLOGIZED FOR. HE HAD TO LEAVE ONCE TO GET THE EXACT MATCH FOR THE GROUT. HE WAS FINISHED WITHIN HIS TIME FRAME OF 1/2 A DAY. THE WORK WAS METICULOUSLY DONE AND LOOKED LIKE NEW!

All I'd say is that I hope he wasn't in an accident or something else that prevented him to not show up or to not return any phone calls. Barring those, I do expect someone who makes an appointment to at least make a courtesy phone call to inform that they can't perform the scheduled work. The only way I'd hire him again is if he gives me sufficient discount to offset my time that was wasted, unless he had a legitimate reason or some extenuating circumstances.

His work made me able to live with my kitchen and baths longer before remodeling.

John was here when he said he was going to be for the initial estimate, his price was a surprise to me as I thought it would have been higher. We scheduled the work to be done (about 2 weeks out) and he showed up exactly when he said he would to do the work. He stayed to task and worked hard scraping and cleaning the old grout. He didn't give it a lick and a promise at all. I've been in the residential construction industry for 35 years now and can tell a professional when I see one. John knows what he's doing and he does very good work.

The work was done fast and looks great. Also, it seemed extremely reasonably priced to us. Plus, he re-caulked our kitchen sink for free. Highly recommended!

I discovered a crack in the caulking along the tub/shower ledge that was causing a drywall leak. (A plumber from another company failed to diagnose this leak, even after cutting a hole in my wall.) John did a great job. The caulking looks great, he stopped the leak & prevented any future leaks.

Perfectly. He was prompt, courteous and came in right at the bid. I enjoyed having him in the house. He left our bathroom spotless and did a beautiful job.

John arrived at the work site promptly as scheduled. The job took about 90 minutes to complete, exactly as John had projected in his bid. The repair work was excellent and John left the bathroom in spotless condition.

We were completely satisfied with John's work as well as his positive attitude!

John gave me an estimate and came to do the work about a week later. He arrived on time and did excellent work. He cleaned, sealed and re-grouted the master bedroom large shower stall. He cleaned and replaced some grout on our tile floor in the kitchen and a hallway. About month later the grout on the kitchen floor started to crack. I called John and he came to look at it right a way. He informed me that our kitchen floor is settling and therefore the grout cracked. He suggested to use another grout used in mobile homes. In a week John came back and put in the new grout. John did not charge me additional cost for the trips back or the additional work he did with the new grout. I would recommend him to all my friends who need any kind of tile work done. I am planning to use John expertise again in my rental properties.

John did a great job. He showed up on time for both the estimate and to do the work. He was very cooperative and agreed to do some extra work we forgot to ask about. He worked quickly and professionally and did a great job. He gave us the Angie's List discount without having to ask about it. I mentioned using Angie's List when I first called.

Called twice and left a message to have bathroom sink tiles repaired. I didn't get any return call.

Very well. John came out on a Saturday, gave us an estimate we accepted and scheduled the appt for 2 weeks later.

I was totally happy with the work that the Grout Doctor did in my master bathroom. I liked that they were able to clean up the tile and reuse most of it. They were polite and made sure to match up the tile perfectly.
