Excellent, honest service. Had an unusual problem but they fixed it courteously and promptly.

They were thorough, communicated very well, and delivered when promised at the agreed price. They don't nickle and dime you for every minute spent, which is nice. A subsequent (unrelated) visit resulted in them running extensive diagnostics, but being unable to reproduce the problem, and they didn't charge for that.

We searched it pretty well to start with. We felt that they are fair and honest. They are communicative. Their customer service is good. The staff is awesome with you. They’ve been honest and trustworthy. Their professionalism is good. The price is fair and good. They are really responsive. Their punctuality for setting appointment is good.

In every case they have been professional and taken care of the problems, no matter how difficult.  They stand behind their work and I am not alone in my experiences, with over 400 responses on surecritic and a 99% recommend rating, it can't be wrong.  Note that after your car is worked on, you get a mail asking for feedback on the surecritic site, so primarily those who have had work done are inputting their responses.

They are like the family you want to see, Karen is always pleasant when answering the phone and scheduling the work.  Jeff, I'm guessing "Lead Mechanic", will tell me what is wrong and set expectations on when my repair will be completed. Brian, the owner, is a superb mechanic and has built a business around quality work at a fair price.  This has resulted in word of mouth getting out and over the years they have expanded, but continue the quality work. I'm not sure about the rest of the team, but these three individuals have been there for at least 12 years as I have been going there that long.

Over the years they have not only done standard repair work for me, but also after market upgrades, all with the same high quality.

I cannot recommend them enough.  I have recommend them to a number of co-workers who also now use them.

Summers Automotive Service Inc. were accurate on the estimate and they were competitively priced. They did a very good job of explaining what was required when I called them and they also made a follow up phone call. They were accurate and professional.

They are excellent, trustworthy mechanics. Summer's Automotive Service is very knowledgeable about their trade.

Called to see if they could install a Jasper engine (rebuilt engine) into a 2008 Pacifica.  They ordered and gave date to bring in car.  Got the car there and they were able to install engine and get car back to us by promised date. Also, follow up visite  went well.

Scheduling with Summers is a breeze, they always try to work with you so it is convenient. I had notes about all the work I was interested in and they respectfully listen, which is always appreciated.
For example, there are two qualities of serpentine belt, a cheapo with a 90 day guarantee, and a really good one (costs $15 more) with a 3 year guarantee. This belt drives every accessory on this car, from alternator to air conditioner to power steering pump. So you want the best. Anyway, I asked for it and I got the best installed.
The service at Summers is very good. They noted how much brake wear remained. Did all the work. Courteous and punctual, calling back as needed... I picked up the car with no issues or drama. Very nice!
A word about integrity... I noticed the car was leaking auto transmission fluid, but being around the holidays I didn't have time to bring the car back. When I had time, around seven weeks later, they got me in the next day and found the problem (a nicked seal) and fixed it no charge. Fast. Courteous. Great follow up calls. Note that many shops offer a 30 day guarantee on work, and this was closer to two months. This is a place with integrity, something I value in life, especially car repair establishments.

They are always very professional and the work was done well. I am very pleased with them and I will use them again!

When you move to a new area, one of the challenges is finding a reliable auto mechanic you can trust. I came across Summers Automotive while dropping off some clothes at the drycleaner nearby and noticed they were AAA recommended, so I checked up on them on Angie's list and found all positive reviews.  Better yet, they are located about halfway between our house and my office. The shop is located in a safe area and I don't feel concerned about leaving our locked car outside the shop overnight...and nobody wants our old cars, anyway!

Regarding our oil changes:  the service was completed when promised and the price was less than we'd typically pay to an oil service shop. Besides I don't like the upsells you always get from those places anyway (funny how the air filter ALWAYS seems to need replacing!)

Regarding the exhaust manifold repair: we have not had the work done yet (gotta save some $). However, since this was only our 2nd visit to the shop, we wanted to be sure we weren't getting sold a repair we didn't need, so we did a little online research in some Dodge forums and learned this is a common problem on Dodge Dakotas with over 100,000 miles.  Further research showed the shop's quoted price was on the low end of the average repair cost of $340 - 740 in the Seattle area. This added to the validity of the shops diagnosis and repair estimate.  It was also nice that the shop's owner said we could have the repairs done over two visits for the same price, since each side is repaired separately. This is helpful as it will allow us to spread out the repair costs over more paychecks. Unfortunately, even the best repair shop can't help it when your vehicle needs repairs due to mileage and age...but it helps to know they can be counted on to provide an accurate diagnosis of the problem and will charge a reasonable price to repair.  I will update how it goes once these repairs are completed.

I have used Summer's for over 15 years with a wide variety of cars, every time I have been treated with courtesy and they have done what they said they were going to do. The cars I have taken them include: Ford Explorer, Ford Excursion, Mazda Miata, Volvo XC90 and a Toyota MR2. In every case where I have got a competitors quote, the competitors were comprable if not more in cost. While I could have gone to the dealers or other places, but I know I can trust what Brian and hs team tell me. In one case I had them replace my shocks, then a year or so later when the vehicle was in for an oil change they noticed a broken shock and replaced it for free, I didn't even know it was broken.When I was preparing to buy my 1991 Toyota MR2 last year I took it in without an appointment and they did a quick once over.If only all businesses were as honest and reputable as Summers!!!!

Very professional operation.  I brought my car in and they had everything done in the same day, and at a much smaller price than the dealer would have charged me.

They did good work on my car. They were recommended to us by the technician we usually take our car to. They sent us to them because of the particular work Summers Automotive does for a reasonable price. What impressed me was that they got the work done when they said they would. They also noticed that there was some work done by the other station that was not done well and they told me about that as well. They corresponded with the gas station and let them know as well. I was pleased with the way they handles the situation. We did not call a lot of place for price, but I think they were reasonable.

I spent $3000 on that work. They have good pricing. The service is fast and good. I never feel like they are taking advantage of us. They are knowledgeable and their service is good and we have used them for close to a decade now. The shop environment is nice and clean. It is pretty simple but it is clean and comfortable. The shop area has open bays and they are clean and organized.

They do good work that is reasonably prices. I always take my car there.
