Description of Work: Service Gas furnace. He was in and out in under 20 minutes. I don’t know anything about the servicing of gas heaters but I do know they’ve always taken the filters out and cleaned them. This guy did not. Also – they’ve always taken about an hour to service the unit. I have no idea what he did in the under 20 minutes.

Description of Work: We requested work to be performed on the bathroom fan fittings, (in the attic). Brad did an outstanding job. He was very knowledgeable and approachable. Brad answered all of our questions, (we ask more questions then most customers), and was very patient and supportive. After the attic work was performed, we recalled that our thermostat needed to be replaced. Brad willingly replaced our thermostat, (even though we had not requested this work prior to his arrival). Excellent work and service Brad! We definitely would call upon this provider again.

Description of Work: I was looking for a contractor to replace 10 year old water heater and found black lion deal from Angie's list. Scheduling was easy and the staff was very friendly but it was not the next day. I understand that it may be due to high-volume of requests due to the deal. On the day of installation, two people showed up on time and did the work. They were friendly as well and the whole process took an hour and half. At the end of installation, I found tiny leakage at the joint connecting the heater and the expansion tank. It was so tiny so I told them that I would monitor over night and call them back if I needed. It turns out that the leak was real so I asked them to come over again and fix it. Then they did the job the next day. Overall, I liked black lion staff and service. Their price range was a little on high side among the people I contacted (I contacted and got quote from 5 vendors). I would recommend them but if you do not mind paying a little extra.

Description of Work: I bought two maintenance tune ups from the Angie's list deals as per required for my heat pump/ac and furnace set up. Technician was nice but I was busy with other things while he was doing his thing inside and when he left, I realized that he had not gone out to the outside where my ac/heat pump unit was. I had paid for both services. I called the dispatch to clarify and they had indicated that he did in fact do the work, but they were very defensive about it and couldn't tell me what exactly was done. Now I admit that I could have watched him like a hawk when he was here and asked him 20 questions, but I was 7 months pregnant and not my usual diligent self.

Description of Work: Black Lion HVAC, installed an Earthquake Automatic Gas Shut-Off Valve. The job went quite well; installation took about a half hour. The installers were polite and professional and explained what they were to do and provided the instructions and warranty information at the end of the job.

Description of Work: Cleaned and vacuumed the furnace and checked everything. Said everything looked good. Very nice, very professional. Would not hesitate to call them again.
