Description of Work: Cleaned and serviced 2 furnaces. He found and had to replace an ignitor in one and cleaned the flame sensor & calabration in both. He worked fast, found the problem right away and did an annual service on both. I would definitely recommend him and the only complaint I have is I had to wait 3 weeks before I could get an appointment but otherwise I was very happy with the company and service and would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Frozen lines caused our 2 gas furnaces to stop working. First fix was done on time but lines froze again in very cold weather. Then the owner himself came out promptly and fixed it.

Description of Work: Pretty straight forward install. Only one glitch; I had asked for a gravity system for the condensate but a pump system was installed. They put the gravity in but there is an "opening" in the indoor unit that shows and was not (could not?) be fixed. It should have been fixed, and really should have listened to me in the first place.

Description of Work: My furnace broke on a Saturday. I called and they returned my call right away. We made arrangement for them to come on Sunday. They were on time, got my furnace going right away and we talked about options for replacements. They had the bid out to me Monday with options. I haven't decided to move forward or not. The furnace is working perfectly right now.

Description of Work: From the moment I signed up for the Big Deal, Black Lion was quick to respond. On the day of the appointment, Brad was on time to inspect my furnace and put in a new filter. Brad was low key, polite, and easy to have in my space. He also explained things about my system that other furnace techs hadn't.

Description of Work: They installed a new 50 gal hot water heater and disposed of the old one, based on the 50% offer they sent out via Angies List. My current 10 yr old hot water heater was working, so it was not an emergency, just being pre-emptive with the good offer. |They were able to schedule very quickly, and professionally through email. The 2 man team arrived within the 1 hour window as expected, and completed the replacement in about an hour without issue. They also replaced the expansion tank as part of the process. |The one funny surprise, was that the team didn't light off the pilot light to get the heater running. I noticed after they left, as I didn't test the hot water from a faucet before letting them leave. Not a problem for me as I am comfortable with lighting off a hot water heater, but less experienced people should not forget this step, before letting the team leave incase there is a problem.

Description of Work: Our furnace was blowing cold air (even after we changed the filters. I called on a Saturday and they immediately called back and gave me a trick to get it working through the weekend. Then they came out Monday morning and checked it out, replaced a few worn out parts and were done in an hour. Will definitely use them again the next time it stops working (and it will..our house is cursed).
