The cashier Sukhjeet's service was exquisite. I saw something I else I wanted that was on discount, when I went to the stand we noticed it was missing a saw. She went to the manager who took an additional $70 off because of her.

Appliance Sale
There was a hassle with delivery. It was also a hassle from the truck to the kitchen. They advertised free delivery and they tried to charge me for it. Then when they deliver it they would not put in kitchen. They would only deliver it to the garage. After much discussion and time, they refunded me for it.

Rentals - Equipment
At 8:45 A.M. I entered the Tool Rental departmet to inquire about purchasing insulation that day and reserving the machine for Wednesday. There was only one person working the department so I stood around for about ten minutes while he was busy helping another customer then I walked around the store and returned approximately five minutes later. Another customer had entered while I was gone so I took my place in line behind him. After fifteen more minutes and another two customers entering the department (one waiting outside the door to be let in and another looking at tools), I went to the Lumber department and asked if they could please send assistance to help in Tool Rental. I then took my place back in line and waited for another thirty minutes. In the meantime, the original customer left, the second man was being helped, and two more customers entered for a total of five customers now waiting. The man working Tool Rental was extremely rude (which seems to be quite common in this department) and was very non-chalant about his job and the fact that several customers were waiting. Eventually, Brian came to help and answered my questions. It was a holiday. It was a Monday morning. I would think that The Home Depot would have more than one person working the Tool Rental counter or have an immediate back up person available when several customers are waiting for an extended time. This is not my first complaint with this Home Depot store. I live approximately one mile from this store but will drive to Lowe's in Auburn for all future big cost items.
