Apex floors did a fantastic job refinishing our hardwood floors. Mike is very easy to work with and fulfils his commitments.

Mike did the job as outlined and did it on time and in the budget as agreed. He matched new hardwood the job needed and repaired a few bad water damaged spots. I will be hiring him again soon for another project.

After he refinished our floors, our floor vent covers looked out of place. Had Mike come back to install flush wood floor vents. Excellent install work, finished to match existing floors. If you are thinking about refinishing your floors, ask Mike about the flush wood floor vents and have it done at the same time.

Returned phone calls promptly. Emailed quote promptly. Worked with us to schedule the work and kept to the schedule. Completed the work on time. Explained our options with various finish and colors. Mike does excellent work, our hardwood floors and stairs are beautiful.

In addition to his excellent work on some fir floors, Mike was able to bring out the character in a beat-up and painted staircase, fixing some treads and achieving a nice finish. Everything looks great.

Mike is a true professional and an artist repairing and matching hardwood floors. You know how good he is when the other contractors doing work asked me for his card. Worked well into the night, even helped me get my car out of mud I had gotten stuck in. Have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and he is top notch!

Mike is an exceptional craftsman. He does beautiful work, keeps the schedule he proposes, cleans up after the prep work and was very easy to work with. He was responsive to questions and great with advice based on his expertise. I would highly recommend him, we are very happy with the floor.

Mike (the owner) actually did an install, repair and refinish on our entire downstairs, it is beautiful! I would hire him again and have already referred a couple friends to him.

Mike is everything that you want in a responsive, perfectionist floor installer and finisher. He knows the trade, knows the materials and finishes, has the best tools, met our schedule and worked long hours to perform a superior refinishing job in a short time. Our kitchen floor looked like crap before - so bad that we were worried that it would have to be replaced, or at least sections of it - but now it looks brand new. Our only regret is that we didn't do this sooner.!

Hands down the best contractor I've come across. Great guy, great work, great value, was awesome with my stuff and was great with my dog. Mike was also patient and gave great advice on the project. Just overall a fantastic contractor.
